You just don't play Explosives before they play their threat. It's a reactive card. Let they play their creature and lay down the Explosives to deal with it.
And the matchup is bad. It's widely known to be one of our worst, togheter with Ad Nauseam.
We only have 4 Bolts and 2 Angers maindeck as interaction and this is a really low number of cards to deal with Infect.

This. Wouldn't even feel bad about popping 1:1 given the small number of threats they run, and how bad the matchup is and winning usually means not letting anything stay on their side of the board.
Maybe it is just me, but I have never seen EE blow out infect. Even as a reactive card, infect is too resilient. Unless you think there are more dead cards in the matchup, then I guess it would be fine to bring it in in that case.
Its really not bad at worst its 50/50 6 main deck answers is solid considering we only need to delay a turn or two. Sakura also does a lot of work against infect.

Sakura only delays Glistener Elf. Agent and Inkmoth dodge it.
Infect is a turn ~3 deck and we are close to a turn 5 deck, so we need to delay them for something like 2 turns, but that costs us turns also, as we could be playing ramp spells but need to interact with them to not be dead, so it also slows us down.
They play a lot of answers to Bolt and they have protection for the Angers, which even have the problem of being a 3 mana sorcery.
When all our interaction is damage based spells, not hard removals like Path, Terminate and Decay, a deck full of pump and "hexproof" spells can dodge it a lot of the time.
If you read Thien Nguyen's primer on Mana Deprived, he says that Infect is one of our worst matchups. And also advices on boarding in Engineered Explosives.
Should we be thinking on a black splash for the new black removal, Fatal Push?
It kills everything that Bolt kills and some more. It's also better against Infect, since they can't pump their way out of it.
Black also opens the possibility of playing things like Slaughter Games for Ad Nauseam.
I feel like splashing black should be for Abrupt Decay, since that hits non-creatures, such as Blood Moon. If we really needed a 1 mana removal spell, we would have splashed white for Path to Exile.
Fatal Push gives GBx and, more importantly, UBx decks some new gas to deal with this ridiculous meta. The card IMO is not worth splashing, but depending on the rest of the spoilers, it could be enough that we'd want to change our MDs back to some 4 Relic setup (to put some percentage points in the Bxx matchups)and leave the bolts at home.
You'd have to think its a good thing for our deck, in terms of quelling the meta a bit.
The meta will become more midrange for sure! I like the look of this at face value. However, if the format adapts a specific way to big mana decks, I am concerned. An example of this; I played against straight BG midrange who mained a combination of 7 total ghost quarters/tec edges and MAINDECK LOAMS! I got wrecked in 4 matches. However, if that isn't the norm, I feel great about it! I don't think it will be a problem fortunately.
Another reason I probably lost to him a bunch might be because for some reason I never drew threats against him despite how many turns I could have for the win.
Straight BG seems a good way to go with the new removal. They now have a 1 mana removal for the early game that can still kill a lot of things in the format as the game goes longer. Manabase is better than 3 colors and they open spaces for those GQ/Tec Edges. And even Fulminator + Pulse of Murasa out of the sideboard isn't far from the value of Fulminator + Kommand.
If theese decks start showing more, we'll have to adapt. Sacred Ground off of a white splash is interesting, but still could be hit by Decay.
Let's wait and see.
This looks like a great sideboard card if the meta starts to change. It's a niche card, but the RG deck I think can take advantage of both sides of the card. Titanshift has a few non-lands to protect with ind/hex (KHE and Omen to save from EE, Back to Nature, or Decay), but Crumble and Ulamog are exile effects and GhostQuarter/Stone Rain/FMage are destroy effects.
This is not based off a decent statistical sample, but I've found that Grixis Control is perhaps one of our worst matchups, especially post-board. Fulminator Mage, Kolaghan's Command, and Snapcaster Mage is difficult to deal with and then they've got their counterspells, etc.

Well, I can saw a woman in two, but you won't wanna look in the box when I'm through.
Grixis control and Grixis Delver are both tougher match ups.
I attended at 150 player tournament yesterday and thought I would share my report.

Round 1 Dredge he faltered I didn't see any of my angers but combo for win both games I won.
Round 2 Grixis Delver. I was worried about this match up I won game one on a combo out. Game 2 he destroyed me with counter magic and game 3 was a grindfest where I was top decking lands with valakuts out to win.
Round 3 R/B prowess. I won game 1 in a close match up and game 2 my opponent overplayed his threats into my anger and gave me the time to find combo and win. It was a very close game 2 he was top decking for reach to finish my last 2 life.
Round 4 Through the Breach combo, sort of a mirror match up. I won game 1 which led to winning game 3 being on the play. Close matches its really just about who ramps and gets there. Once I realised he was on TTB I didn't fetch myself below 19 to keep that buffer.
Round 5 U/W Control. I haven't played this match up much I took game 1 by having 2 scapeshifts in hand and waiting until 8 lands to play one to overwhelm his counters. Game 2 I seriously misplayed to lose this game I had 7 mountains (2 green sources) out with 2 valakuts and I was at 20 life with opponent not doing much. I had summoners pact in hand and I had boarded in Thrun. I pacted for Thrun and cast him and passed turn. My opponent uses cryptic to bounce 1 of my two green sources and GG. This really threw me off I had completely forgotten that mode for cryptic command. Game 3 was a close match which I lost when he logic knotted my primetime for 2 I could have played a land first before primetime cast and had the 2 mana to pay logic knots cost so another misplay for the lose.
Round 6 Bant Eldrazi. I won in 2 not a lot of interactions we sort of prey on these type of decks.
Round 7 Jund. This is my win and in for top 8 and I'm pretty happy to be played against Jund. He wins game 1 on the back of 4 tarmos. I had to clear his board with my combo of because I would have lost to his 5/6 tarms the next round. Game 2 I win on the back of an early primetime. Game 3 he top decks a collective brutality the turn before I am about to combo to win and nabs my scapeshift from hand. He beats me down for a couple turns while I find nothing and lose.
Round 8 Elves. I combo out game 1 for 36 dmg on turn 4, he does elfy things on game 2 and wins with beaters. Game 3 I anger to slow down and combo out turn 5 for 36 dmg.
I ended up 10th no 6/2/0 made it in top 8. The two opponents I lost to made top 8 the jund player in first.
Ok so the Chandras have been quite bomb. I mean the card literally does everything we want cards in our deck to do. She ramps, kills stuff, and can eventually find us our wincons during the more grindy games; while being one herself.
