they are playing white for renegade rallier maindeck and lingering souls, kataki, ranger of eos sideboard
the stream comes back in an hour or so i think, but you can check the past videos in the "magic" channel at twitch, the deck was on camera a lot of times
So I went to the tournament today and the deck ran pretty hot. Went 3-0 and drew the next two rounds into top 8. Won g1 in top 8 against infect, but fizzled hard against Bant Eldrazi. That matchup seems super hard though after further testing, anyone have experience against it?
Also I'm testing fling over a 3rd battle rage, as they're both lethal when unblocked double strike is lethal, but fling can pseudo blank removal. There's also the nut situation where you swing > battle rage > fling and basically kill them from 20.
Look at the card. Now back to Jace. Now back to that card, now back to Jace! Sadly, it isn't Jace, but if it stopped being a junk rare and became relevant, it could act like it's Jace. Crack some Worldwake. What do you have? You have a Jace, the card you wish this card could be like. Look again. THE CARD IS NOW A $75 BILL. Anything possible when you play Magic with Jace and not junk rares. This is probably spam.
It's not really Death's shadow that won, it's more Jund with some Death's shadows ;-)
I'm not fond of the fact that Jund has taken over Deaths Shadow like an alien parasite... Is there possibly a version of the old combocentric DS that's still viable?
I said jund should play 12 goyf with grim flayer and traverse. How wrong I was. It is suppose to play 8 shadow instead.
Did any of you see the matches they played? It was sick how big those goy's got after a while. They where 7/8! No enchantments included.
There is no way the deck can support an Emrakul, the Promised End is there? Even with 7 mana discount it stil cost 6 mana, and you are very vunerable to gravyard hate. (I am looking at you rest in piece!)
Perhaps a sideboard card?

More or less, I feel the same. I really liked the 4-Color all-in explosive variant. T-T I might be a little biased, as I don't own Goyfs. lol
It's probably dead though. The Jund build does seem pretty reasonable; watched it on camera a lot all weekend. It seems really good.
Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.

Hey Shadow players - I'm interested to know how you sideboard against Bant Eldrazi.
My understanding is that you bring in Fulminator Mage, Fatal Push and even Lingering Souls? But what are you taking out? Also what do you see as a good strategy to combat Shadow? Do cards like Leyline of Sanctity bother you?
Exiling removal like path is strongest and no, Leyline wouldn't hurt the deck much considering the majority of the damage is through dudes.
I understand that you kill with Goyf and Death's Shadow (thats the name of the deck afterall) - you run anywhere from 9-12 discard spells plus Lilli of the Veil - I would think that Leyline of Sanctity would do some work?

Obviously we're not on the burn plan, but Leyline does blank 8-10 cards in our deck, and makes it much more difficult to stick a threat or race our opponent.

So after seeing the discussion on reddit, which Liliana do you guys prefer running and why?
I think both are fine. I think veil is better in the lists that aren't running as much removal since she has a hard edict, though last hope gets better when you're on the lists that are running 2+ fatal push. I don't think there's a big performance increase w/ one over the other, and it mostly comes down to personal preference.
Edit: I'm running Veil to hopefully increase my odds against Bant Eldrazi and Eldrazi tron, though contemplating a 1/1 split.

That's true on the leyline blanking a chunk of the deck and slowing the growth of the dudes, but I don't think it's a good idea to be brought in against us either.
On liliana, I believe it depends on the support cards in your deck and the meta you're in.
last hope is a bit redundant if you are already playing kolaghan's command
i think lotv its a better maindeck card since it almost always does something, while last hope can be a blank, but its great to have acces to last hope against decks with a lot of x/1 creatures, so i would play lotv main and last hope side
if instead of kolaghan's command you are playing more copies of abrupt decay and fatal push i can see last hope being better than lotv in the main, but it will still be a blank in some matchups
I've been watching Ghash on his twitter to figure out the sideboarding.
I would play all 3 copies of K-command, it is so incredibly relevant to the deck
I see push doing a ton of work, and I think collective brutality is actually just--ok in the deck. I don't think the deck needs 2 CB's, I rarely saw it used at the GP, Ghash was sideboarding it so much. Fatal Push does so much work in this deck it's not even funny, especially lingering souls, it's easily a 4 of in the sideboard

Hey guys, yesterday I spent my entire time watching Ghash77 (the creator of the deck) playing in his available twitch streams when I wasn't at my internship or in night class. I mainly watched it because I wanted to see the matchups and how boarding in and out looked like, after watching it, it usually feels very organic and makes a lot of sense, but I was afraid to board some things because I thought it messed with the deck too much. The nice part about doing all this research is that some games are so fast I was able to watch quite a bit of games take place and see interesting lines of plays. I skipped any third repeat of matches after seeing his boarding out and in process
Anyway, this boarding in and out process is not in stone, just a vague guideline, he would sometimes change some things, but he always did it in a general sense against matchups, but it'll give you an idea of how to approach these games postboard. Please keep in mind there were quite a few games he played without Collective Brutality, and when he did, he sideboarded them out A LOT, so if you're running Collective Brutality, consider cutting those in matches they seem lackluster.
Enjoy, now you don't have to research so much or if you're confused. This is going by a general 75, it's ok if yours isn't exactly like this
