Rest in peace Twin. Absolutely my favorite deck to play against. It was nice while it lasted. My consolation to all of you twin players, I'm just as disappointed as you are.

First off, no one should be surprised by this ban. Second, ur all fine since you have good cards that are still worth tons, you take out the 4 twins, and 8 combo pieces (pester/exarch) and you still have good pieces like scalding tarns, remands, snaps, etc. Your fine, just build other blue based decks that play those cards, will you win as much, nope, but thats a good thing, because if you win too much your just going to get banned some more. Take your lumps, and let this be a growing experience.
RIP Twin, you helped me win a lot of events over the past few months. Welp. Back to the drawing board, Grixis Delver actually is good vs affinity and tron, so that seems like a good place to migrate back towards

Not a Twin player here, but this makes blue as a whole much, much worse. Burn/Infect/Eldrazi/Tron are going to be the top dogs now, all of which blue decks in general struggle with.

Never played Twin, but I enjoyed it's stay in the meta, keeping fast linear decks at bay. I'll miss the deck and feel for you guys. Hopefully you can all find URx decks to take to the next levels. Good luck.
I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of clerics and faeries suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

This is the best post here, by far. Anyway, I'm not surprised, but the deck is still playable by slotting in Kiki, right? One turn slower, but still useable?

No. there is a reason nobody ran Kiki anymore: it's both too slow and too fragile. Hell, it even makes your mana more inconsistent.
And by "too slow", I don't mean just killing a turn later, but also that it's that much harder to hold up protection while going for it, which is a huge deal.
Value is good. But Dredgevine isn't supposed to be about value. It's supposed to be about V-8; 2000 pounds of nitro boosted war vegetables. The more velocity, the better.

Good night, and good luck, ladies and gentlemen. I'd say that switching to Blue Moon is probably your easiest transition overall. It will give you good matchups against the Eldrazi and BGX, and hopefully you can pack enough sweepers to fend off Affinity.
It was a good run. Time to go watch linear combo/aggro dominate the format with no real police deck. Jund and Grixis die to horribly to GR Tron to really exist in major numbers.
I hope I'm wrong, but these are just my initial feelings. We policed modern, and kept it a less boring linear format.
