I still think Echoing Truth is better. Void Snare being sorcery speed means that you must be able to kill your opponent on the same turn you cast it (otherwise he will just replay the hate card). That's hard to do when you have 1 less mana available because you used it on Void Snare. With Echoing Truth, you can cast it at the opponent's EOT, then untap and combo off on your turn will all your resources (i.e. mana).
Void Snare costs less, but see above - casting a bounce spell is one thing, killing your opponent before he can replay the hate is another. Besides, with an Electromancer out, they cost the same amount.
Lastly, of course, Echoing Truth has the tiny advantage of bouncing all other permanents with the same name, so it deals with 2 copies of the same hate.

Two copies of Leyline is play isn't super uncommon or anything, most players will play 4 if they play any and it's the right play to just run them both out there if they have two in their opener.
The extra 1 on Echoing Truth is worth the instant speed and ability to take care of multiples, which gives it a wider range of application. With our space for answer cards being so constrained we need every shred of flexibility we can get.
Hey all been reading the thread for a long time now and play storm constantly so i have a question that im looking to try out. What is everyones thoughts on Ignite Memories?? im looking at a singleton in my SB against like Tron and other high CMC decks. I think it may have a place as another out as Empty the Warrens can get outted fairly easy.

Too much luck involved. There is no way to know for sure if it will win you the game. Also, the difference between 4 and 5 mana is pretty big
Some facts of magic:
-Terror is an emotion which, when experienced, results in death.
-The pox was a disease notorious for having killed one-third, rounded up, of Europe’s population. Smallpox, on the other hand, killed only a single person.
-A person riding a horse cannot be stopped by foot soldiers, large animals, walls, archers, or even catapults.

Dagonstorm isn't going to work. You said it yourself, you're going to need to cut 10 slots for a D-storm package. What are you gaining by running a D-storm package over the standard list?

Not just the Tendo King, the power of the Galactic Leyline surpasses that of the Tempa Emperor, No!, It's magnificent power is even greater than that!

Dragonstorm is less competitive than the baseline grapeshot engine. If you're still interested then I have some advice. The basic skeleton of a Dragonstorm deck is much more interested in actually reaching the requisite 9 mana than trying to get a large storm count. Unfortunately, one of the reasons Dragonstorm is less popular now is because Seething Song is banned, previously that was the lynch pin of the deck because it added an extra ritual to the deck. To substitute you'll probably need to turn to some of the mana rocks that Ad Nauseum uses like Lotus Bloom and Pentad Prism.
D-Storm also only wants 5 dragons in its deck no more then that. you want the 4 Bogardan Hellkite and one haste dragon ie: Hunted Dragon. The Pool cards from Time Spiral would also be of great help

I hate to advocate using Dragonstorm as the kill in a Modern storm deck, but I think someone should point out that, IMO, the best configuration of Dragons if you are going to go that way is some combination of Bogardan Hellkite and Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund. You could probably even go down to just 4 total dragons by using 3x Bogardan Hellkite and 1x Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund.
With that configuration, a storm count of 2 can even sometimes be lethal - Hellkite deals 5 when it enters the battlefield, swing with Hellkite and Karrthus for another 12 and you've done a total of 17. A storm count of 3 is almost certainly always lethal, dealing 27 damage with two Hellkites and Karrthus.
As a fairly new storm player the biggest issue i am coming across is how to deal with graveyard hate. My LGS meta has an incredible amount of graveyard hate in sideboard (rest in peace, relic, ect..) and i would almost say that 30-40% of games after sideboarding i can count on not having a graveyard past t3 or 4. I end up trying to just sculpt a hand i can try and combo off on turn 4 or 5 with the idea that i won't be able to interact w/my graveyard , which often times ends poorly. Any pointers outside of the obvious on playing against graveyard hate would be helpful as that is my biggest issue right now; well that and death and taxes.
From my experience with the deck the best thing to do against grave-hate is to board into the empty the warrens-plan and make 10+ goblins fast. If that is not an option or you should bring in echoing truths against Rest in Peace and Relic. With Relic on the Table charging up an acsension and going of that way is also a viable option. Against RIP you can sculpt your hand, bounce the RIP at the end of thier turn and just go for it, usally the stuff you go trough on one big turn is enough to combo off. Against Relic you can do the same by forcing them to crack it EOT.
The best plan is a quick horde of gobos tough, especially when your opponent is expecting grapeshot as your win-con.
So true. If i'm playing against someone and I know they will have graveyard hate in game 2, I just board in Lighting Bolt and Empty the Warren, horde of goblins and burn to the face. Most of the time they sit there and wonder what just happened. Especially with Rest in Peace in play.

I still prefer Echoing Truth since the enchantment clause on Dismissal makes it too narrow in my opinion.
