i still want to operate under the theory that if we control the board we will eventually win any game becasue of sheer card advantage. inquisiton of kozelik and thoughtseize are very good, don't get me wrong but 1 for 1 is just average in this deck. every spell we cast has 2+ for 1 potential. think about bloodbraid elf 2 spells for 2RG. finks recurs once giving us 2 cards. also the lifegain to offset dark confidant. which literally gives an extra card every turn. lili is 2 for 1 every single time casting it. at least once per game. the instants are the only thing you could argue are 1 for 1, but if opponents are playing equips or enchantments, than u gain tempo and/or CA by playing in response. and instants are just better because if opponents don't account for them, than we will break most stalemates and win.
i would run IoK and TZ if blue was better in htis format, but the counterspells are weak in this format. spell snare and spell pierce are both easily played around. mana leak is just average. its a dead draw after turn 5. remand is just delaying the inevitable. and is really awful against bloodbraid. remove soul and negate are just too conditional to be consistent enough for any deck to play either one. flashfreeze is the only thing thats really efficient counter against us, and were ONLY going to see that games 2/3. if they SB it, which they probably don't. cryptic command is a powerful card, but also not very prevelant. and can be played around by dropping spells post-combat. chances are the blue deck is going to tap our team and draw a card with this spell, leaving us a free 2nd main phase to do wahtever we want. which is actually losing the blue deck's tempo...

Then you just auto lose to combo decks.
Discard is great in this deck because it allows you to set up your powerful permanents. Get rid of their removal so your bob draws you a card. Take out their finks so you can use liliana effectively. Get rid of that spell snare so you can get down an early tarmogoyf.
Imho cutting Terminates for Decays is a big mistake. One of our worst Match up is Naya Pod, and both Kiki and the Angel aren't killed by Decay. Pulse is of course quite bad in that match up because it's not an instant. Also, Terminate kills Celestial Colonnade, which is quite problematic for Jund, since it dodges all our removal. I'm currently running 3 Decay, 2 Terminate, 4 Bolt and 1 Pulse as my removal suite and i find it perfectly balanced
so i've been testing and cutting terminate is a mistake. but not for these reasons. colonnade is not a bid deal because of 2 tec edge and SB molten rain which always comes in againts UW control. my sb is designed to take down pod and control. i miss termns because of the mana curve. the list i posted above, has the curve too high. too many 3 drops, not enough 2s. so i supposed -1 blightning, -1 pulse, +2 temns. also in the SB -1 rain, +1 cage
What is good tech against Soul Sisters and Living End? I have a friend who is playing LE tomorrow during our weekly Modern event, and possibly in the GPT Saturday, but SS is an eventual build for him. My board is still listed above, but I'm open to changing things around. Is Crypt the best answer, or should I change things around more?

1 Abrupt Decay is and instant and cost 2 rather than 3. Uncounterable is good too, but even without infinitly betterthan maelstrom Pulse.
2 Fulinator Mage is good but not main board material. With that said, if I'm going to board in something against lands Stone Rain is better than Molten Rain. The deck is set up to get BB and GG for Liliana and Finks, but not always [/MANA]RR[/MANA].
3 I tried Deathrite Shaman, thinking I was going to MB 2-4 I ended up only putting 1 in the MB and 2 SB. Then realizing their just weren't enough targets for his mana ability and too many times it messed with Goyf. Also hated hitting it with BB Elf.
I would love feedback on my deck and my sideboard. So far I've been sweeping the Modern events I've been playing at.
There any number of different evolutionary directions where Waste Not can go. Would it be O.K. if we take it out of the wrapper, and play with it for a little while? If and when it falls apart, we collectively promise that you can say, "I told you so".
The weird part is that I haven't found Deathrite Shaman to mess with my own Goyfs all that much. I tend to target redundant instants/sorceries first if his hate is irrelevant, and he's won games by being an unblockable 2/2 with an upkeep of B (in grindy match-ups--e.g. the mirror). I believe he's only significantly shrunk my own Goyfs once or twice. Then again, in my Deathrite build, I run 8+ fetchlands to support him.

Same. I'm running just one, though.
As for your list, the creatures curve out pretty high. Maybe cut one or two of them for another witness or some mainboard jund charms.
How come you've chosen rakdos charm for the sideboard? Jund charm is a bit more versatile and has a similar ability. If you need more graveyard hate, you should probably go with something more efficient like surgical extraction, extripate, or tormod's crypt. Also, if you're not running pulse, you'll probably want dreadbore for tron.
I'm running 2 Shamans with the regular 5 fetchlands, I don't care much about it's ramping, he is excelent, life gain and damage(I know, it's life loss) in a pinch and partial GY hate(and opposing Finks hater), he is a beast and has not shrunk my Goyfs yet.
Well, now I will just wait for Scavenging Ooze become modern legal.
I took out two ancient grudge for the two rakdos charms. The area I play in about 1/3 of the decks I see are affinity, so I want to feel secure affinity will never have a chance.
As for Main deck Jund Charm? At least 80% of the time when I have jund charm I need to "pyroclasm" on turn 2, or if I use it I'll lose a Bob, a Finks or blow up bloodbraid elf... So a "pyroclasm" for 4 mana? Or I can use it and no need to zap a GY and possibly it would also shrink my Goyf. Jund Charm is good SB but no way I would ever MB it.

Additionally, about my creature curve. Turn 1 I want to Inquisition or thoughtseize. Otherwise maybe drop a treetop or ravine. Or a R land with bolt in hand.

I absolutely love smallpox, but I'd be running the deck around smallpox, Liliana and other everyone discards cards. Cards like Squee, blood ghast, grave crawler, lingering souls, maybe Lotleth Troll.
Honestly I'm working on that deck for modern currently

Look atthe cards I posted. Smallpox in modern would be mono black, B/W, B/G or B/W/G. Maybe splash red, faithless looting is good maybe burning inquiry, throw in a couple squee.
Nothing like a turn 1 Urborg + thoughtseize, followed by a turn two Flagstones+smallpox, discarding Blood Ghast which pops into play off the Godless Shrine your flagstones fetches

However, since affinity takes up a large part of your meta, I would actually be running some mainboard pyroclasm effects. And ancient grudge is better than rakdos charm against affinity, so I still don't see why you'd run rakdos charm over those. The rakdos charm just doesn't seem very versatile.

You could play small pox in jund colors, but it wouldn't be the same deck anymore. Tarmogoyf and dark confidant make for pretty good cards in a small pox style deck.

Sowing Salt is the nuts against Tron (just cast it fast), but it's subpar against Valakut, and it blows the most against UGr Scapeshift Combo because it only plays 2 Valakuts, it doesn't tend to land them at all, and it can combo off with only 4-6 Mountains remaining in the deck (the 4-Mountain combo involves 2 Valakuts, 8 lands, and 2 Mountains already in play). Not to mention how many times the card gets plain Remanded.
Fulminator Mage and Stone Rain are better against Valakut overall but may be a bit ineffective against Tron (I've tried LD sideboard hate in a very controlling deck and RG Artifact Tron once won through 3 Molten Rains). I believe deciding between the three depends on your mana base and your meta.
