Exactly what pg8 said. You can add much more stuff to the list like Spellskite, Slaughter Pact, Suppression Field and so on. Problem is you only have 1 Plan and this is a combo plan that needs creatures to go off. As Twin is a tier 1 deck you have to expect that everyone has hate in their 75 in addition to the regular creature removal. There are probably only a hand full decks that dont have any interaction with you. So I prefer the Tempovariant with a strong Plan B (Tarmo Twin), where Plan B is sometimes Plan A or you can even switch to Plan C.
In regard to Electrolyze: I can see why some of you want to board it out. I still have far more moments in my memory, where Electrolyze was awesome (like 1 to Bird, 1 to Kitchen Finks with Persist Counter) and literaly won me the game. I will keep it in my main 60 for now. Though I have cut a Flame Slash and Remand for 2x Spell Snare currently.
How has Spell Snare worked out for you? I love that card way too much and need an excuse to cut a Remand since I hate that card. I'm also considering bringing Dispel back to the maindeck, since a lot of decks only have 4 Path to Exile as their only way to beat both of our main gameplans.
I don't see how jund is a good matchup? Discard is terrible for blue decks, they play goyfs and oozes, lil to grind us, and so much removal. Is this true? I've always been unfavored in testing could someone shed some light.
It's hard for them to tap out for Lili with the threat of Twin killing them. Thoughtseize is forced to take a certain 4-mana enchantment too. Regardless, I may have to add that Sword back to the sideboard, as much as I hate it vs Abrupt Decay.
UWR control is favorable (particularly post-board), Jund is not. Pod is one of the best matchups and Affinity is somewhat close (I run 3 grudge for this reason).
Cards like Liliana and Ooze (with more green mana) are hard to play against. They have much more removal for you than anyone else and there are certain trump cards like Huntmaster/Lili/Ooze that are good followups for their discard spells. I typically board out most of the combo much like the UWR matchup and hope that my improved threats (2 Batterskull and 1 Sword of Light and Shadow) along with a bit more removal can make things better.

...the lack of power of Divining Top is similarly obvious.
2 Anger of the Gods
2 Ancient Grudge
1 Nature’s Claim
1 Batterskull
1 Sword of Feast and Famine
1 Dismember
1 Combust
1 Dispel
1 Counterflux
1 Negate
1 Spellskite
1 Engineered Explosives
1 Threads of disloyalty
I also run TarmoTwin and I have a few questions for you.
I sided recently vs. BG Obliterator, which is very similar to Jund. I sided the same 3 Splinter Twin out, but I now feel it is correct to side out all 4. My initial thought was to keep 1 because every other part of my deck doesn't line up too well vs. theirs so I need a possibility of a quick win-con. After playing, I felt like there was absolutely no way to resolve Splinter Twin on a creature (Abrupt Decay/Slaughter Pact). I sided out 2 Pestermite rather than 2 Deceiver Exarch. My thinking was that Exarch can block Treetop Village, Ooze, and occasionally Goyf (rather risky though) occasionally. Pestermite is more of an aggressive creature and I'm not sure if that is the way to go. At first, I thought that cards like Sword of Feast and Famine and Batterskull would crush him, but with discard, Abrupt Decay, and instant speed creature removal, it was much tougher than I thought. They still are must plays and can be amazing, but they just were a bit underwhelming. I don't have a Threads of Disloyalty in my sideboard, so that hurts.
All in all, I just feel like BG is a terrible, terrible matchup. Jund seems similar to me. I hope I am not too quick to "give up" on the matchup, but it just seems that the chances to beat it are nearly futile.
(Sorry, it looks like I didn't do any questions; rather just my feelings on the matchup.)

I felt thatSpreading Seas wasn't that great in the control match up. I just swapped it for Blood Moon. Bringing also in 2 dispel a negate and 2 batterskull.
I do see the merits seas holds but I'd rather shut off all the lands instead of one.
This is what I will be playing at the GP tomorrow. Enjoy.
As much as I dislike Splinter Twin (that is more because I want to play with Preordain in Modern than because I have an issue with the deck), I have to wish you good luck. You have contributed greatly to this community and actually care about Modern. Thank you for your support and I wish you the best of luck.
What would you replace the Spreading Seas with in Patrick' list
-2 spreading
+2 vendilion
-1 spreading sideboard
+1 ?
And am not sure grim is very effective in the current format. If you play grim, then you don't play anger of the gods. Anyway we are already positive versus pod without any anger.
I am sure that Patrick knows what he is doing. He is the best Twin player in the world and possibly the best Modern player in the world.
KERANOSSS! Best of luck patrick, by far my favorite magic player always a pleasure to watch you on camera. I also like the cut of dismember for shackles, really don't like dismember in the ur list.
Just starting to play around with splinter twin and I am curious what the general consensus is for the number of lands for a RUG twin deck. I have not played it at all but why 21 lands? why not 23-24? Is it becuase of the cheap card draw? And also can I play RUG twin without misties? I have tarmogoyfs oddly enough but no misties.

Using off-color fetches (i.e. Arid Mesas) will work, it will just end up costing you some percentage points against aggro and Blood Moon decks because you'll have to fetch more shock lands.
I'm currently running 22 lands (in RUG) with the "extra" being Desolate Lighthouse. Even with 6+ cantrips I like the extra land because you really want to hit all four lands by turn four.
Do you guys have an updated UWR Twin list? I have something thrown together but I'm not sure how much I like it. I also don't have a sideboard put together at the moment either.

RUG - Tarmo Twin is really good and awesome to slam goyf after they killed the combo thinking they are good, then the goyf / ooze eats them alive.
Want to see what grixis twin would be like for all in, have some hand disruption to stop the combo hate.
