If you're expecting tokens, Whipflare could be pretty could if you can drop it early enough. Relic of Progenitus is pretty a pretty popular SB for graveyard hate. I personally think Shrapnel Blast is more reliable than Fling 8 out of 10 times, but to each their own.
Lastly, I don't think the Frogmites are worth running. Not having all the artifact lands can slow it down and make it less reliable, and something like Steel Overseer or more Ravager is going to get you further in the game.
A few choices were budget. I'd like to add Blinkmoth Nexus, Darkslick Shores, and another Mox and Ravager would be nice. However, I think those improvements would be marginal and it works fine as is.
With this build there's no nead to ask Who's The Beatdown? I can't think of a faster aggro build out there.
The Welding Jars are probably the most controversial card. I like the durability they give VS. burn, blockers, and "Destroy Target Artifact"
The sideboard is very budget friendly for the guy wanting something for $10. Just swap the Canonists for another Torpor Orb and Duress. It isn't the best, but it works.
Playing in the world of Modern Delver it's at least something fun and different.
Also, I do own four Tempered Steel, and they are just so slow I'd rather play Sign in Blood and hope for another Signal Pest or MoE. I'm a bit surprised how many lists are running it here.
After a lot of playtesting I finally decided Overseer is probably the better call in a turn 4 format, leading to this version of my Affinity deck. Biggest thing I'm at odds about is Arcbound and Overseer counters. I'm liking the 3/3 split, but I'm not sure if a 4/2 Overseer/Ravager split would be better and I don't have enough good opponents locally to get an accurate playtest result.

I have the same problem. I often have to shelve Affinity for a more casual deck to have any fun.
When the deck smashes face every game it's hard to tell what sort of little changes would help.
Yeah but there are a lot of good decks that would give Affinity a run, good RDW lists; Tron, Jund, Delver, Bant, etc, and it's decks like those I'm worried about in terms of making my counts...well, count.
Just looking through the M13 set list... It would have to be a dedicated list but Phylactery Lich is an indestructible 5/5 with its counter on Darksteel Citadel. If nothing else it would be fun to test.
I'm currently running Jacob Maynard's list from GP Columbus. I have been liking it more than lists with blue. Any suggestions or alterations I should consider?

I stopped using canonist in favor of relic of progentius (ruins storm decks), but I like the thoughtcast decklists because they are more consistent.
I only play mtgo, but I win way more than I lose and the only losses come from storm/loam/graveyard recursion. (Occasionally Delver just gets a nuts draw and that's hard to come back from).
I also stopped using steel overseer because the format is just too fast for him to be at all effective. Almost every deck has a very simple way of getting rid of him.
Not a bad deck at all though, but I don't know if it would translate well into the MTGO forum. If you were going to bring it to FNM or paper PTQ, it should do well....
I'd cut Duress for Spell Pierce, since your mana base already supports that.
Also I imagine throwing a card away (with T's Crypt) sucks. Relic doesn't hurt you and cycles, and hurts Tarmogoyf even more. Being slower is worth it in my opinion.
You also need something for mirror and Vedalken Shackles (sometimes you can't outrace them through RUG Delver's disruption). Annul or Ancient Grudge seems fine.
Phyrexian Revoker would be an answer to Shackles, although personally I quite like Spellskite.
The problem with bringing in specific shackle hate for RUG is they tend to run 2 shackles. Yes we can lose to it, but we can also lose to dead grudges in hand. Spellskite also eats lightning bolts for fun.
He's not bad in the mirror either when it comes to nullifying Ravager (they sac, you redirect. It's a may ability, but still stops them moving in heavily on a Vault Skirge or Inkmoth Nexus) I'd still want a heavier solution though when it comes to the mirror match and grudge is THE premier option.
I've been running this list for a few weeks now, and have been doing very well in Modern tournaments around NYC.
I've not been mana-screwed once... Though I do need to mulligan once in a while. The deck runs pretty safe with just one land hands.
Affinity isn't as straightforward to play as many people tend to think. There is really no "direct answer" to removal, but Shrapanel Blast and Arcbound Ravager makes your creatures useful even if they die.
The most sided-out cards is Steel Overseer. Lightning Greaves actually synergize very well with a beat down strategy and makes your critters annoying to remove. And it can be a fetch option for Steelshaper's Gift. It's interchangeable with Welding Jar which is used for similar purpose: protection. Welding Jar is generally more useful if you are seeing your Cranial being destroyed, and Greaves is better against creature removals.
And makes Steel Overseer MUCH MUCH better. Siding out 1-2 Etched Champion (for fast weenie aggro, Etched being 3-cast) and 1-2 Arcbound Ravager (slow control, Cannonist is probably better here against slow control) is the general strategy.
Despite what people say about Thoughtcast This card is just amazing. It's what every aggro deck dreams to have: a cheap 100% way to refuel your ammo. This is one thing that affinity has over any other aggro deck: White Weenie and Red Weenie (Goblins, except Legacy variant). I've never casted Thoughcast with at more than 2CC, and it's usually a 1CC in most games...
Shrapnel Blast at 3-4 is too much in my opinion. There really isn't a reason to blast off your stuff except when your stuff is targeted as removal or doing the final damage... As such, you only want to see 1 in most games, and 2 max... Galvanic is enough most of the time.
Basic land choices is there just so I have the option to thin my deck against Ghost Quater and Path to Exile. With the latter VERY Popular.
The SB is for my Meta. Phyrexian Revoker is a better choice over Pithing Needle just because it has a body. That's just my opinion. Torpor kills Pods. Whipflare for weenies. Dispatch for Jund/Midrange. Mostly for Goyf.
I'm finally building a Modern Deck, and I LOVE Artifacts. I heard about Affinity/Robot decks, and I knew I had to try it.
This is the decklist I was thinking of building. I'm trying to keep a decent pricetag without hurting the deck much.
I was thinking of running 3 colors for added reach, but I wonder if it might be too much. Thoughts?
If it would mean Wizards has access to the Golden Legal Army of Disney and could slay the Reserved List, I for one would welcome our new rodent overlords.
This card also has the distinction of being my least favorite art on a card in the set thus far,... he looks... Out of place to say the least. His face seems to say: "I'm only wearing this outfit because if I don't Niv will eat my family."

Don't think you need Somber Hoverguards or Rootborn Defense. I don't know what you are going to populate so put them both out. A playset of memnite is a must and more thoughtcasts would be good along with a playset of etched champions. A few blood moons in sideboard never hurt anyone either.

Thanks. Don't know how Rootborns got in there, but they are out anyways. Took out the Somber Hoverguard, but I don't want to rule them out just yet. A 3/4 flyer for U seems great. But I understand it will be somewhat situational.

I'd also remove Tendo ice bridge and gemstone mine. I'd have Glimmervoid instead or City of Brass. I also may possibly place spell pierce into the main deck or Spell Snare depending on your meta and depending if you have room. You may consider running Tempered Steel or Steel Overseer

I have yet to build the deck, but my budget doesn't quite allow for a set of glimmervoids or manlands yet. I'll get them eventually, but Tendo and Gemstone Mine are budget fillers so I can at least play the deck and get used to it. I think I might just go with city of brass over Tendo Ice Bridge though.
I thought of tempered steel, but i hear it's rather slow. And I don't know what to pull out for Overseer.

I'm a bit confused on how you say your deck is budget yet have Arcbound Ravagers. Sorry but, it just doesn't make too much sense to me. In Australia, I got a playset of Glimmervoids for $32 AUS all up. So, it can't be that much...
You can remove the hoverguards for the Overseers. Overseers can either be target for removal or if not dealt with quickly, allow your bunch of artifact creatures to get out of hand really quickly. Inkmoth Nexus is also a powerful addition due to it's combination with Arcbound Ravager or Cranial plating.
