Still getting used to my meta so I'm still developing the sb. Most likely though I will be using Torpor Orb and Mindbreak Trap. And yes I know the Wurmcoil may seem soooo far out of place but if I never test it I'll never know if its any good right? If its bad I'll just switch to a more traditional build.

11:15, restate my assumptions: 1. Mathematics is the language of nature. 2. Everything around us can be represented and understood through numbers. 3. If you graph these numbers, patterns emerge. Therefore: There are patterns everywhere in nature. - Maximillian Cohen.
Some comments:
This deck can function with few colored sources of mana. It's not as vulnerable to Blood Moon/Magus of the Moon, compared to other decks which are packed full of Ravnica duals.
I tech 1 Contested War Zone. I'm not sure if it should even be used since Blinkmoth Nexus also acts as a source of damage and doesn't swap control when I get hit.
Glimmervoid is very good with Darksteel Citadel since Citadel's indestuctibility pretty much means that you'll never lose it.
With regards to UB duals, I think Underground River may be the best of them. This deck is full of artifacts so you often can use it just for the colorless mana, losing 1 life only to get a Tezz/Thoughtcast.
Darkslick Shores is a close second, since it conditionally ETBs untapped.
Watery Grave isn't worth it since you often only need Underground River's colored mana once. Yes, it can be tutored with fetches but when you're aiming for a T4 Tezz it sucks to miss a land drop, which is made more likely with fetches.
Most of your mana is colorless so skip Sunken Ruins.
Forget Drowned Catacomb, this deck plays almost no basics or Watery Grave.
1 each of Island and Swamp gives you something when your opponent Paths a creature.
With regards to weenies I use the usual 24. Evasion is vital; you'll want your 5/5 (after Tezz) or Cranial Plating-ed creatures to smash face, not kill creatures. Ornithopter, Vault Skirge, Signal Pest and Etched Champion all have evasion.
I use 9 pump effects. Cranial Plating is an auto 4-of. Tezz is kept at 3 to avoid drawing multiples. I use 2 Master of Etherium so I have 6 3-drops.
Instants/sorceries are the usual stuff. 2 Dispatch and 4 Thoughtcast.
With regards to my current list, I feel that I'm running too much mana. I may cut the CWZ for a third Master of Etherium or Blinkmoth Nexus. My main reason for including CWZ was so that I could use up extra mana, but the drawback of swapping control is pretty brutal against aggro.
With regards to the archetype, one thing I noticed about it is that although Mox and Drum can accelerate you to a blisteringly fast early-game, you're often out of cards by T2/3. Thus, it becomes a guessing game: should I sac my mana artifacts to Ravager or save up for a Tezz which I may not draw? For this reason, I'd like to include more 3-4 CMC spells such as more MoE or TfK. Probably even 4 Tezz.

Why doesn't anyone play Thirst for Knowledge?
I'm looking for some input on my current build. I haven't had a chance to play Modern in a competitive setting yet, so I have no idea what to do for a sideboard. And by the looks of these other lists that are performing well, I'm guessing my maindeck needs a couple changes as well.
UUU Talrand, Sky Summoner // (W/U)(W/U)(W/U) Grand Arbiter Augustin IV // RRR Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker // (R/G)(R/G)(R/G) Wort, the Raidmother // URG Riku of Two Reflections // RWU Ruhan of the Fomori

This is why I started playing magic in the first place. It wasn't PT aspirations just making noobs cry by doing things that are perfectly fair.
That list lets you punish decks game 1 for not keeping a removal-heavy hand, and then you can side into the tezz list out of the side if you are paired against something like RDW or Boros, where flipping erayo seems hard to manage.
My favorite aspect of the eayo lists is that if you don't see erayo in your opening hand, it's a good chance you are still rocking a solid plan b with master of etherium and cranial platings + infinite manlands.

I think Erayo is cool and probably GG if you flip him turn 1 but if hes not in your opening hand then hes a dead card most of the time.
I'm considering dropping an Island and a Moorland Haunt to put in 2 Inkmoth Nexus. I don't like the idea of splitting the difference between damage and poison though. Also I may pull a card for a Steelshaper's Gift as Cranial Plating is the best card in the deck in my opinion.
Also I can't remember the entire sideboard, thus I didn't list it. I'm considering putting in a couple Extirpate as the deck went undefeated several weeks in a row until in two consecutive weeks two different people managed to pull Ancient Grudge 3 times. And Extirpate works better than Surgical Extractions since Ancient Grudge is instant and flashback.
You're running 18 mana sources, but hoping to hit a 4 mana permanent, as well as running multiple 3 drops, in a format that's pretty good at punishing anyone who skips a beat around 3 mana...
Your numbers don't add up either, that's 22 creatures there...I've got a feeling you missed 4 Signal Pest?
You're also running a 62 card deck if all those numbers add up.
Although personally I wouldn't run Tempered Steel and Tezzeret in the same deck, if I were determined to then I'd cut things down to as barebones and curve efficient as I could.
60 cards
Play Springleaf Drum to jump the curve and allow turn 3 Tezz or turn 2 Steel.
Dispatch would probably squeeze into board since you'd aim to power through with Steel or a Tezz ultimate or 5/5
