I think the only land they can spoil that we will think about is the UR manland once we understand what it does. and as for the other point I actually run 2 Liliana and 2 Pyromancers side by side. We aren't trying to make pyro go nuts and swing with an army of 15 tokens if he comes down and make 3...4 .....5 dudes then he has done plenty for you. I find that they are both so individually powerfully and that the matchups where they are powerful are so vastly different that running them side by side hasn't been an issue except of course finding the slots. Up until recently I was running only 3 abbots 2 pyros and a single Liliana so I basically cut a Liliana and an abbot for the Pyros. But before an event at my LGS saturday I actually put the seccond Liliana into the deck cutting one copy of rise//fall so I now only run 2 in the 75. Although it is powerful I just felt I was drawing it into too many situations where it wasnt doing a ton of work disruption and it can sit your hand for a long time before a good opportunity presents itself to cast it on rise. What I have found was I think Gerry T. was on to something with only having 2 in his 75 its felt great running lili and pyro side by side if you resolve both in a low resource game its pretty much lights out. It will still require more testing but I think them being side by side is more than acceptable its actually been very viable so far.
Trying out a couple new things tonight. Ill let you guys know how it goes
(Pyro, twisted image, lavaman, dispel, no vamp links, tribute) should I find room for a second echoing truth in the side too?
How many sweepers are you playing in the board, memeball?
Another question for you, and others that are playing young pyro, are you playing him alongside liliana? Those don't seem to play well together. (Liliana brings you to low resources, but pyro is best when you have high resources) or is it just that both cards are so strong you play them together anyway? What are you cutting for the pyros? Does your creature base look like this?
4 jace
3 abbot
3 snap
2 tasigur
2 pyro
I think Pyro and lili are very good together.
When lili is on play, this is a top deck war and your top deck OFTEN give you an extra token with pyro.
it gave me so many game lately. 2x Pyro is a must in this deck to me.
to put pyro in; I did: -1 rise/fall -1 abbot (was running 4)
I'm also playing at 21 lands so I dropped Gurmag. Maybe ill come back to 20 lands to get him back..
Anyone got any really really janky stuff to test? Like random-ass cards that would be funny/interesting as 1 offs? I have a spot in my deck that I want to be a wildcard

I'd say go for Cruel Ultimatum as a finisher. You can easily mill it/discard it and then late game cast it with a resolved jace from your GY for ultra maximum value.
Look at the card. Now back to Jace. Now back to that card, now back to Jace! Sadly, it isn't Jace, but if it stopped being a junk rare and became relevant, it could act like it's Jace. Crack some Worldwake. What do you have? You have a Jace, the card you wish this card could be like. Look again. THE CARD IS NOW A $75 BILL. Anything possible when you play Magic with Jace and not junk rares. This is probably spam.
I love darkblast as a singleton, maybe a second in board. Even better if you're playing free cantrips but even with thought scour and serum visions it plays like a machine gun, killing bigger creatures, filling the graveyard and activating prowess/making elemental tokens.
Started first with a Tamura list but said he may go back to grixis. Here is the list he was talking about. But at the end said he wanted to try more jace instead of Swiftspear.

Chapin wrote his article and last deck variation was Grixis w/ almost same idea, besides Mishra's Bauble and Swiftspear.
And he admited that wanted try Liliana too. But oposite way from his idea of prowess.
I jst dont want talk much couse premium article and idk if can say anything here..but I will watch about those Mishra's Bauble. Idk if really like it but....
Bauble are that high because it's a pretty powerful effect from a VERY low selling set. Not sure how I feel about it in this deck (I love them in Delver), but it's worth a shot.
I dropped to the 3/3/3 split of abbot, jace, and snap. I also upped my Young Pyro count to 2, he's been very strong. I haven't really had an issue running him with Lilianas main. The sideboard is full of cards I'm testing. I really don't like being a huge dog to burn, so I'm trying to shore up that match up while keeping the rest as strong as possible. I played against tron recently and it feels like if I don't see my fulminators or have a really strong opener, its hard to deal with. Though I felt like my opponent was drawing pretty well most games, getting turn 3-4 tron often. I am also testing a Cavern of Souls in place of my third rise // fall, upping the land count to 21. Not sure if its right but I did want to try it. So far it seems good.
I like the idea of having probes and baubles in this deck, but there just isn't room unless you change the deck at its base.

Have any of you guys tried the dispels in the side yet? Do you board out abbot? Or accept that sometimes you will have awkward flips?
Well I guess it isn't any more awkward than when I bring in sweepers and hit them off of abbot. Its probably just worth it to have them both.
