This seems exactly right to me. Hokori is a great card, but after filling the 4CMC slots with Resto and maybe a Linvala or two as fifth and sixth (in GW), there aren't any slots left. (That, and Hokori is suddenly terrible when there are mana dorks on the other side of the table.)

Have you been able to try this out? I'm really interested in this! My only question is how does the 3 Mangara of Corondor work? I think I'd prefer Blade Splicer.

You would think right since you want em against affinity. Mangara is an additional path really, if worth that.
I would really love a white one or two drop creature version of rishadan port.
That would be so fantastically dirty hahaha. 4 and that as a land denial package? GW would lock people outta the game SO FAST. Only problem with it is it wouldn't help vs green devotion. They'd tap in response and float that mana if I'm correct. But ANY OTHER MATCH UP I'd adore it.
Vedalken Certarch. Maybe some kind of artifact-based DNT list is possible?
Hello death and taxes friends. I've been putting together a 4 part series going over what Aggro is broken down into subtypes, and I feature death and taxes in the second part (see below) I also want to give credit where credits due, as the list I used was one of Sheepz. Check the two videos out if you like!

I'm flattered haha. I'll be sure to check em out today!
I watched the portion about hatebears and death and taxes, very good commentary! I'm sorry you had to go against living end, that's not the most exciting match up I assure you hahaha. Little painful being up there with DOL since he's such a better player, but I really felt you did both decks justice! I would argue I'm not THAAAAAAAT conservative since the BW death and taxes deck is my baby rather than straight mono white
One thing I was wondering was what version of path to exile was that? It looked SWEET.

Haha, its my own alter. If you looked at my nacatl in the first video, you'd see it has a witches hat on it. I grabbed the list from your OP. I wanted one that was very clearly taxes, with out any bells and whistles.

Yup I know haha I was just giving you crap. It's a great video, and I understand wanting a basic list haha. I'll have to check out some of the other vids!
Flickerwisp is the border post between D&T and Hatebears if you're ever in doubt. D&T is more oriented around Vial tricks, synergy between cards and generating value, while Hatebears is to some extent a pile of powerful standalone hate cards and dorks for tempo. Like the GBx family of decks they look similar from the outside, but play quite differently and have some very different good/poor matchups. But if you see a list that looks a bit in between, it goes like this: Wisp = D&T, no Wisp = Hatebears. That's the forum standard that separates the threads. If someone calls a Wisp list Hatebears, they're wrong. It's an understandable mistake, but they're still wrong.

So i was out playing yesterday, and i think i did pretty good, for each time i play, i get better.. so i went 4-2 won against scapeshift, a BW tokens (from the modern deck - it was actually very hard), UG homebrew (it was quite funny) the last one i dont remember.. i lost to a delver/twin deck one of my friends play (game one, it was delver, after sideboard it was twin) also lost to a BR homebrew (very interesting)..
and right now i was just browsing around on scg and found an interesting card for the GW D'n'T, it seams funny and very agressive for a 4 drop.. Sublime Archangel is the card, anyone care to talk about it, or has it already been talked about earlier ?? i kinda like it
Played yesterday this deck at Liverpool PTQ. Went 5-3. Lost against Merfolk, UR delver (opponent was a total dick, told me that I have missed my Noble Hierarch exalted triggers plus misplays from my side) and UWR control (it was very close but he won on time, one or two plays that I should have done differently would have given me the game). Won against Eidolon Burn, Lingering Junk, Merfolk, Eldrazi green and UR Storm.
I consider Merfolk a terrible matchup for the deck and even playing cards like Ghostly Prison and Dismember SB is very hard to get rid of all the lords paired with the island walk tricks.
I felt this deck was very well positioned in a Birthing Pod meta that is why I opted to play him. Ended up not facing any pod deck.
Affinity G1 is almost always a loss against a decent pilot unless you play 2/3 Qasali Pridemage Main Deck, post sideboard is an easy game.
How to improve the Merfolk and UWR matchup? Merfolk is around 70/30 and UWR 60/40 in my experience.
I really want to like Sublime Archangel because it's such a cool card, but I think it's a bit win more-ish in that it's not that good on an empty field. It's "just" a good blowout when you've got a good board state, but by then you should be winning anyway. I suppose it would be good against removal light combo decks or something like that, where your stuff sticks but you're in a hurry to win. But even then, isn't it better to attack with everything? Maybe against a clogged ground where I want to fly through with just one flier? I don't know...
Also, 4CMC slots are very, very tight. You need to run GW to have more than four 4CMC creatures, and the first four slots usually go to Resto. I like Linvala for slot five and potentially six. Sublime is a good card, but definitely not better than Resto in this deck, and I'd say it's not better than Linvala either. She shuts a lot of stuff down.
(I've actually been wondering lately if it would be reasonable to distribute four slots in non-green, if that's not one too many, as 3x Resto 1x Linvala. Linvala is crazy good right now.)

Could you post your deck please?
Stuff I side in against UWR: 1x Pithing Needle (naming Celestial Collonade), 1-2 Spellskite, 2 Mark of Asylum, 1x Choke, 2x Eidolon of Rhetoric. The matchup seems very hard the first times and gets a lot easier with some practice, more so than any other matchup imho.
I haven't really played a lot against Merfolk, but I hear Engineered Explosives is the ish. You want it against Bogles and Tokens and Affinity too, so it's a good way to use two SB slots.
@Draco Yeah I know, it's like that, I get it too. All decks look simpler to pilot and more similar to each other from the other side of the table. It's similar to the whole "my archetype requires thought while yours is braindead" thing you see between control players and aggro players. I'm sure people playing UWR midrange or UWR gifts, for example, get mislabeled as UWR control a lot, while also a lot of people playing GB Souls get to hear how their deck is almost exactly like Jund just because there is a large overlap in cards.
DnT can be mono white, as hatebears must have green inside. Qasali and Hierach are more seen in hatebear - Loxodon Smither too. I'm not sure they even play Flickerwisp/Restoration Angel package.
I think it's because people don't know the legacy deck from what it's called from that they call it hatebear. DnT is about mana denial and taxing while beating down (which you can do with Flickerwisp btw). Hatebear is about beating down with hate creatures (i.e. Loxodon Smither, Voice of Ressurgeance, Thalia, etc...) - no real focus on taxing lands.
And it's true that Hatebears seems like an easier play - drop, hate and beat, as for DnT, you must calculate if you deny 1 mana or deny 1 blocker with Flickerwisp, which can mean a huge difference in the end game.
Doesn't bears also play Arbiter/Quarter/Mindcensor? I always figured that those cards is what makes people lump the decks together, they see Arbiter and go "oh, that deck".
Hierarch is pretty much always played in GW D&T unless you're on a budget. Pridemage is good in D&T too, art/ench removal is hate too. Otherwise I agree.
Edit: Oh and I'd be very careful to call Hatebears an easier deck to play than D&T. I agree that it looks like it might be, but it's a risky claim without playing both. All decks look simpler from the outside.
The only good taxing 4 drop I think I would consider is Hokori, Dust Drinker. But I am not sure I would want to run it over Restoration Angel.
