If You still have room in the budget Arcbound ravager and Mox opal are pretty much the only other cards you need.
If It's too expensive you can cut glimmervoids for Mountains and run Shrapnel blast instead of Thoughtcast for a more burn oriented build. There's also the possibility of a Tempered Steel build that would run Tempered Steel, Dispatch, Steelshaper's Gift, and some plains.
I honestly believe that without Mox Opal - you'll need to up your land count, possibly to as much as 20. Something like: - 4 Contested War Zone, + 4 Glimmervoid + 4 Steam Vents (some other UR source if that is out of budget).
The reason for the Island is so you get value out of your opponents Path to Exile.
Would this be competitive? I think so - you can definitely get lucky with this list and just blast opponents out. Without Mox Opal though you may find yourself that one damage short more times than you think possible. Also without Ravager your consistency goes down a bit.
The budget replacement cards are Flayer Husk, Bonesplitter, Gitaxian Probe, and Ghost Quarter. The core idea is to make it so that there is a decent density of threats in the deck, in the form of creatures. A common problem, though, is that many of the topdecked creatures aren't so hot on their own. Thus, the plethora of equipment help to turn an otherwise little critter into a real threat. Flayer Husk is rather good for this, as is Bonesplitter. We already run Cranial Plating, which is fortunately a common. Gitaxian Probe assists the deck in two ways - First, we can get an idea of the options and threats the opponent has, so we can play around surprises that could otherwise be huge setbacks (board wipes, etc.), and assists in drawing into more threats. Ghost Quarter is a meta call, useful for disrupting an opponent's manabase long enough to push through the damage before they can recover or stabilize. It is also useful to use against our own Citadel to search out an Island or Mountain in a pinch.
This isn't the greatest build of Robots/Affinity, but I feel that this is probably the best bang for the buck. A decent sideboard isn't even that expensive, thanks to Spell Pierce, Whipflare, and Contested War Zone.
I would really really recommend shrapnel blast. the extra reach 3 shrapnel blast gives you is huge, and it plays well at filling in for ravager in the case of letting you dodge removal for some added benefit. I'd take out probe probably
I've been messing around with different builds that would cost approximately 100$ to put together and that could slowly be upgraded into the tier 1 deck, I just decided to cut the blue altogether because removing the glimmervoids frees up some budget to put in some of the more expensive creatures and more burn makes the deck faster, the last form was way too slow. However, now I find myself with a little extra budget and 58 cards as seen below:
What's my best move here, upping Champion and Overseer to 3 each or adding 2 Arcbound Ravager? I'm leaning towards the latter but having just 2 means I might not reliably draw it which is what's making me hesitate. What do y'all think? Any other suggestions are welcome as well. Thanks!

Contested War Zone is bad, and Tooth of Chiss-Goria, while interesting, doesn't add that much.
As for as budget options go, effectively you're ruling out Mox Opal and Arcbound Ravager - but that's fine to some degree.
With Cranial Plating and Steel Overseer - you'll want to swarm as much as possible (which is why Memnite and Ornithopter are there.

Competitive lists run Thoughtcast for fuel, and Galvanic Blast for reach.
I would run something like:
4 Blinkmoth Nexus
4 Darksteel Citadel
4 Inkmoth Nexus
3 Steam Vents
4 Glimmervoid
1 Island
4 Ornithopter
4 Memnite
4 Signal Pest
4 Steel Overseer

4 Etched Champion
4 Cranial Plating

4 Thoughtcast
