My goal when designing this deck was to make something that was both control oriented but also very resilient. There are many paths to a win with this deck. Sun Titan allows you to be very aggressive with things like Geist of Saint Traft because you can most likely get him back out of the graveyard later. At the same time the deck isn't completely reliant on the graveyard, so that allows cards like Rest In Peace in the sideboard to counter decks who are.
***FAIR WARNING*** This is not a cheap deck. It is constructed almost like a good stuff list in Esper.
Card Choices:
0cc:
Lotus Bloom: This at first glance seems to be an odd choice. It allows a turn 4 Sun Titan though that only costs 3. It's also extremely useful for Sphinx's Revelation
1cc:
Executioner's Capsule: It's able to be grabbed out of the graveyard by Sun Titan and since it can sit on the board it helps against Tron and Kiki.
Path To Exile: Again, a card that has been a staple in Modern.
2cc:
Tidehollow Sculler: Important for controlling the early game but also a good grab from the graveyard if needed.
Mana Leak: It's debatable what the best counters in Modern are but leak provides a decent early game control and that's what we really care about.
Phantasmal Image: Turns Sun Titan into a monster card and also can utilize the best of what your opponent has or snipe legendary creatures if needed.
Snapcaster Mage: Those extra uses out of Path and Thoughtseize can make a difference. Overall just provides a lot of versatility.
3cc:
Geist of Saint Traft: He can be an absolute house if left alone. The best part is you don't have to be extra careful with him because of Sun Titan.
Kitchen Finks: Resilient card that can mean a lot of life when he can be picked back out from the graveyard again.
Vendilion Clique: Continues the ability to control what your opponent can play or not. Also falls in the limits of Sun Titan
4cc:
Supreme Verdict: Sometimes it's necessary to clear the board and if you can support it this is the best way to do it.
Restoration Angel: A lot of the cards in the deck have ETB trigger so she provides a good amount of flexibility to what you want to accomplish any given turn.
6cc:
Sun Titan: He makes almost every card in the deck better but at the same time it can function without him. He enables plenty of tricks.
Xcc:
Sphinx's Revelation: Still a bit of a dark horse in Modern, but Lotus Bloom makes it a game changer. This card has saved or brought me back into a game multiple times. Care has to be taken in casting it but when played smartly it's worth it.
Weaknesses:
The deck can be susceptible to very fast decks or overwhelming aggro. Tron has been a problem but it can be won with an acceptable percentage. Merfolk or RDW (if you can't get a leyline down) has been the biggest problems but luckily those don't make up a large portion of the meta. All other matchups seem to be decent, mostly because of the filtering the deck has access to.
I am always open to suggestions on ways to improve the deck, just please be constructive instead of just saying so and so card sucks. I know the deck isn't for everybody just because of cost.

Too top-heavy. You can start by cutting Revelation and going for +2 Mana Leak. I'd probably fit in another Path too, you want a good amount of things to Snap back after all.

You like Super Smash Bros.? Melee or Brawl? Check this out! http://projectm.dantarion.com/
It's an updated version of Brawl into an epic, new game.
The reason I was refraining from posting in the 'Primer' is because the sample deck you show is lacking in the elements that were in the winning decks WoTC posted on their site a week ago.
You are missing Jace Beleren, one of the strongest cards in the deck. He along side Wall of Omens, stall the board extremely well and let you draw answers and counters.
They also didn't splash black for the removal and hand disruption. The card you presented are feeling lacking. (Notice I didn't say they sucked :P) If I can find the link I'd link it so you can show the lists that won some online tournaments and such and build off them.
I played this deck in Standard last season. It was a lot of fun and I was suprised it never really broke through. Though I suppose some solar flare decks might have been similar enough to really encompase the architype.
Either way Sun titan is a pretty solid card but the deck needs to be able to function without him. how well does the deck do with that?
