It would be insane to see AV, BBE, jace, sword and SFM in modern.
On a more wishful level I'd be happy to have a powered up format with basically nothing banned other than clamp, and misstep (+ top and sunrise for time reasons)
Also voted for no bans. Nothing feels broken at the moment. Griselshoal has busted draws but is fragile and as shown by the lack of representation not at all a problem for the format. Something from amulet is the only thing I could see getting a ban but these days it doesn't feel as powerful as before.
This seems very unlikely. Wizards has banned and unbanned something every January since 2013, and I'm sure that isn't changing now. Although we can certainly argue about a ban, at least one unban seems all but certain.

Why do you want to ban cards from all of the tier 1 decks? Since we have a diverse selection of tier 1 decks and none of them are dominant, it is obvious that they aren't too powerful for the format. And even if you were going to weaken the tier 1 decks, why would you weaken everything except for BGx? Your proposed bans would just lead to Jund and Junk being by far the best decks.
Storm Crow is strictly worse than Seacoast Drake.

As a side note, I think that something from Lantern getting banned for time reasons wouldn't be unreasonable. If Top is banned because the format is too slow with it, Lantern being unable to finish rounds and frequently winning games 1-0 is a problem.
Grixis Death's Shadow, Jund, UW Tron, Jeskai Control, Storm, Counters Company, Eldrazi Tron, Affinity, Living End, Infect, Merfolk, Dredge, Ad Nauseam, Amulet, Bogles, Eldrazi Tron, Mono U Tron, Lantern, Mardu Pyromancer
I mean yeah Lantern is slow, but so are other decks too. Like isn't storm more of a problem than lantern as far as time constraints go? I think people are just salty about Lantern

Not that I wish to get into a discussion about this here... but this was exactly what I said. I EXPECT something to get changed.
I simply hope that it's unbannings rather than bannings.
1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!
Whoops! Quoted the wrong post. I disagreed with someone else but accidentally quoted yours.

When it comes to bans, there are a bunch of things I think should be banned, mostly for being too under-costed or otherwise easy to play for what they do. BGx decks in particular are filled with offenders, and there are one or two things from most other tier 1 decks that I feel push the boundaries of what is acceptable for a balanced and fun format, and I feel like they are only appearing safe statistically speaking due to competition from other tier 1 decks combined with randomness factors inherent in MtG in general. The problem with this is that I feel like in many of the cases involved, the deck strategies involve are ones that don't deserve to be eliminated, so I feel like less efficient new cards need to be printed before the broken ones are banned, ones that would be T2 budget playable perhaps in the current meta, before most of such bans take place. I also know most people would disagree with my ban philosophy and think I want to ban too much as well. A good example of an 'exchange' that I liked WotC doing was banning Birthing Pod and printing Collected Company and Evolutionary Leap, although in that case, I feel the exchange was sort of 'incomplete' as I'd also like some other options to do things like a toolbox deck, rather than just card advantage and sacrifice engine replacement tools. I feel like Birthing Pod had the issue of essentially being under-costed on top of being basically 3 different decks at once, while Collected Company is strong and efficient but essentially only one of the 3 parts of Birthing Pod. I kinda want them to do similar for cards like Snapcaster Mage and Tarmogoyf.
I hope this is not spam, but I believe that they are around $8 right now? they would easily go to $20 or more if unbanned, despite a decent number of printings.

Bans I said nothing but I could see summer bloom go and maybe esnaring bridge. Twin, as much as I love it could also be on the block. The problem is that I dont see bans as doing anything productive whatsoever. Nothing is a problem. Things are annoying but they arent huge problems.

EDIT: Yes, this post was originally more cautious, but I made it that way to avoid flaming. Now I have edited it to show I really feel.
Amulet definitely seems to create an unfair way to play via Karoo lands. Splinter Twin is annoying because the combo can be shoved into virtually any UR/x deck and the deck becomes better. Emrakul could be banned IMHO
I agree that BBE wouldn't add much to the metagame other than increase the power level of Jund and Zoo, whom already dominate the aggro archetypes
Draft My Cube!
The thing about banning/not banning Twin is that twin is easy to disrupt. Just kill the creature that twin gets attached too. One problem with Birthing Pod, is that it made it very difficult to play any other creature decks. Another problem was the card itself was hard to fight against. An active birthing will always generate value even if its removed. Where as comparatively splinter twin doesn't generate nearly as much value. Also Pod didn't even need birthing pod to win. It would just play a fair mid range beat down strategy and win. As a result pod was crushing most of the mid range decks
Some parts of Amulet Bloom needs to be banned, either summer bloom or Amulet of Vigor . It can win as early as turn 2 and makes the game not very enjoyable.

I also uncautiously voted for the unban of jace, the mind sculptor because while he was very powerful during his standard run, we already have his partner in crime in the ban list and i believe we also have the right tools to fight him. This is a risky decision, one WOTC would not make, since i believe jace was a mistake in the first place.
That all makes sense, I agree that I think all of those would be fine unbans, although BBE is kind of throwing a bone to a deck that really doesn't need it. It is certainly a concern that a powerful aggro enabler like SFM would push out other less defined aggro-brews, but as you say it's hard to know w/out seeing it actually happen. I doubt this will occur, but I'd be just as happy w/ a near functional reprint that costed WW and/or only had one of the abilities (preferably the tutor). A Stoneforge Novice if you will.
