Meanwhile, my opponent mulled to five and kept a hand where he literally only played 4x Mutavault and killed me with those as I did nothing relevant. Game two I trampled all over him, and game three I mulled to five and didn't see lands fast enough.
Won the next five rounds, taking down Grishoalbrand, Affinity, Hatebears, Burn, and UR Twin to make top 8. Won the first round of top 8 vs some kind of Big Zoo list with Geist of Saint Traft. Lost in the semis vs Ad Nauseam - beat him game one because he never saw his Ad Naus, lost games two and three to Leyline of Sanctity in his opening seven both times.
Leyline is nasty not just because it turns off most of our ability to process stuff, but also because it stops targeted discard, which is most of the interaction I have against Ad Naus. The white list has a few extra tools for dealing with Leyline and for interacting with Ad Naus (Disenchant, Stony Silence), but there's just no beating a t0 Leyline for Mono-Black it seems like.
On to some of my tech choices: Conduit of Ruin was pretty disappointing. I think I cast him twice and declined to search both times, either because I had the target I would have wanted in hand or because I would have needed to topdeck a land to have played Ulamog anyways.
Maindeck Ruin Processor was solid, the card is backbreaking against Burn. Surgical Extraction was great. There were definitely hands where I went turn one discard, Surgical, turn two Strangler, which can't be done with just the artifact effects. Also, doing stuff like Ghost Quarter + Surgical into Sower is backbreaking. Damping Matrix was a bust. Both matchups where I could have brought it in (Affinity and Twin), I ended up not doing so in favor of Spellskites and more removal.
Some thing I'd like to consider: Bitterblossom - For the Black list with no access to Souls, having blockers for flying creatures was a major problem. It came up against Affinity, it came up against Merfolk (Kira), it came up against that Zoo list (Sigarda) Endless One - There've been a few times when I've wanted another board-impact play early when I can't hit the mana for Blight Herder/Sower.

Matthew Dilks' BW Eldrazi on SCG stream at 10-2. Didn't get to see much. Was in a bad spot against Naya Company when they joined and he lost pretty quickly after that.

Leyline inadvertently shuts those down as well because it affects our ability to exile things with our Relics or Claws, hindering our ability to process things and get the true value from these creatures.

Doesn't stop though because Relic of Progenitus burns all graveyards without targeting. Also, path and Sower puts cards in the yard too. I don't think it is a great card against us. I mean if it was BGx would have had to deal with it for a long time with their discard suite, bolt and lily, but they don't see it. I think it would be unexpected to see it brought in from the board against us.

Your sculler list seems like a much more controlling version. I kinda dig it as an alternative to trying to play Blue for delay. Like Ive said many times, we are the proactive deck, so instead of "Leave up mana, delay, process" We can "Sculler, process" without the downside of having to play at instant speed. I might try it out. You running 2 or 3?
I am currently on 3 and thinking that is probably the right number. In a lot of ways it is like an extra discard spell, so we want to be sure we can draw one early and don't want to draw one late. That said it's slightly better than a regular discard spell in the late game because worst case scenario you have a bear to take a hit for you.

Tidehollow Sculler is very good because it's a bear to boot. But if it's managed, he gets his card back. What do you guys think of Castigate and Sin Collector?
The point of sculler is that if you process the card, they never get it back. So I don't actually like either of the options you listed. The upside to sculler is that it becomes a 2 mana sin collector or a castigate on a body in most situations.
Castigate is a card I don't like. I prefer things to go to the yard for discard so I can pair it with Surgical Extraction. The casting cost is hard as well. At least with Sculler it is a potential 3-for-1.

Stonecloaker came up on the BW thread, posted by user Ace1. I think it might have real potential in the BW version. However the deck list already feels so tight that I don't know what I would take out to make room.
Any time a good deck pops up, it will be discussed (in the appropriate forum ).
Also I still cannot find a archived video of the eldrazi deck on camera. Just the live stream.
Also, many people don't know of the deck or how to attack it. People at my LGS are going to start to catch on. I played it at SAM twice and TNM once.

Standard - Mono Red (6-2 and 5-3 in 2 McQ)
Draft - (I wish I had more time for limited...)
Commander - Norin the Wary, Grimgrin, Adun Oakenshield (taking forever to build) (dead format for me)
Stonecloaker is a very interesting card. Does a lot of what we want and would be good against the mirror as a way to shut down souls and a way to pick off walkers.
I feel like I have two flex spots in my SB. Might fit in there depending on the meta.

BW FTW!!!! On the real though I am pleased w/ how well all versions have done, w/ more tuning and new goodies from future sets (we're going to keep getting Eldrazi, they haven't even addressed Emrakul yet) I am fully confident this archetype will move up the tiers.
Also, I am not able to view the stream, would someone be willing to post up Dilks's deck list?
