Yeah, agree Complex. I just threw the deck together over the weekend and haven't got around to buying some Inquisitions. My main point was running two Trangress as part of the discard package since they exile.
As some have previously discussed, I was finding Wasteland Strangler to be underwhelming due to either a matchup where no cards were going to the yard or not getting a Relic early enough. I have found maindeck Ghost Quarters and two Transgress the Mind have helped with getting at least one card exiled early. Turn two Transgress, turn 3 Strangler usually works out pretty well except against grixis control, where they may be able to use the card returned from exile. I currently run two each of Duress, Thoughtseize, and Transgress in the main. I'm currently running mono black.
I was thinking of this same issue when i put together the esper list above. Some cards do not rely on the grave to exile fodder for our processors.

Lol. Was just thinking of adding in some resto angels actually. Work well with strangler and nullifier!

Not unless your stranglers have flash....mine don't :(. You also happen to need 8 open mana to make this work. It would be awesome if you could process a creature than your opponent blinked with resto angel.
I really want an eldrazi artifact that had CC: process 1 exiled card, draw a card. Would make plays that like crazy awesome.

So what's the verdict on Endless One? Worth main deck?
I've played a couple games and I'm neutral on it. Not great not bad.
Also, what's the right amount of removal?
I'm running 12 cards
3x Abrupt Decay
2x Maelstrom Pulse
2x Go for the Throat
1x All Is Dust
4x Wasteland Strangled
The pulse is for decks that go wide with tokens etc. Great against BW Tokens and Abzan.
I'm currently running BG version and I'm having tons of trouble with aggro, Affinity and Zoo specifically.
Any ideas on that matchup?
Languish might work for you. I've had decent luck with the card and I'm on BR for pyroclasm and bolt mostly which shore up the aggro matchup a little.
Had multiple games tonight where I drew the wrong half of my deck. Had a great opening hand of Thoughtseize, languish, bolt, go for the throat, lands and didn't see a creature until turn 7 or so. Then had a game against Twin where I drew multiple big eldrazi in a row and no removal or interaction. I think red adds too much not to use (I tried replacing strangler wi vile aggregate and I really like the card tbh) but I can certainly see the appeal of green for ancient stirrings. I might try fitting in the mind stones after all both for ramp and to be more stuff to cantrip if I have nothing going on.
Just 4-0d tonight at my local store. I had decided to give my monoblack version another try. Honestly i've had a lot more success with it than with a splash. The mana is just super reliable. I'm also like 4x endless ones. They allow us to take the role of aggro early or just throwing a roadblock in front of aggro decks. They are decent at any phase of the game.
I beat u/r twin, u/w/r twin, infect and burn. This deck just seems very good vs twin, and i'm not sure i quite understand why yet. I liked 4x dismember a lot, too many creature combo decks these days. Stranglers were all star tonight. Killing infect creatures while the opponent is holding useless apostle's blessings was sweet. I also lived the dream of processing a suspended rift bolt with strangler, killing a monastery swiftspear, it felt super good. Otherwise burn seems like a difficult, i think i've been lucky with my opponent bricking on a few crucial draw steps.
Bolt does help out a lot. I am currently running 4x bolt, 2x Go for the throat and 2x Terminatr in the BR version I am testing. With Strangler I feel I have a ton of removal. Outside of Abrupt for twin, there isn't much more I could want.
I also prefer the spellbomb to the claw. Being able to take out an entire GY in important in a lot of match ups and is a lot more effective if you don't drop that turn 1.

Early on I saw a few mentions of Pyxis of Pandemonium; originally I was more enthusiastic about this card than I am now. I haven't built the deck yet, but I've been thinking about putting it together. Basically, I think Conduit of Ruin could be pretty nice with Pyxis. My initial thoughts were to toss in a singleton Emrakul and, if you get a Conduit out with Pyxis on the field, exile Emrakul to it. Then you can blink in the titan at EoT to get a pseudo-haste 15/15 Annihilator 6. However, if you don't leave the 7 mana up to crack Pyxis the same turn cycle as you cast Conduit, then this becomes a pretty telegraphed play, and you're open to disruption.
Outside of a hasty Emrakul, Pyxis could also be a nice flood of action after you start to lose gas; you've been processing their Pyxis'd cards all game, but you have a couple cards hidden away. Once you have a low-action turn in the mid-late game, you can crack the Pyxis for (hopefully) no downside. I guess, because so much of our stuff is on-cast effects, this doesn't really play to our strengths, but it can refill a board.
So what are people's thoughts, and which colors do people predict as being the forerunners?

I like your list too. Early on in testing I was very unimpressed with Spellbomb. You still like it? I seemed to keep drawing it early and it just sat there doing nothing.
Any consideration for a split between Dismember and Hero's Downfall, or is the cheaper phyrexian cost too valuable? I currently run one Downfall in the board to deal with walker heavy decks.
Also, has anyone found a good answer to Blood Moon? It's certainly beatable, but makes it a real grind.

Well, i like scrabbling claws (and relic) better because you don't need to pay mana to exile stuff. You can sac them to draw any time you have spare mana, nihil spellbomb you just loose value if you need to exile stuff but don't want to pay mana right now.
I don't like hero's downfall, seems just too inefficient. Maybe worth a spot in the sideboard for planeswalker but not main for sure. Dismember i find just reliable and flexible.
Blood moon is annoying but i would think the mono black and black red versions are less affected by it, but the white and green versions have better answers to it.
Whaaaaat my mistake haha I've been playing strangler all this time and didn't even notice. In that case seems strong w/ angel provided you have stuff to process. I do feel that nullifier is a trap though. I have a playset ready to go if anyone ever breaks it but my experience has been that in the rare cases where you have the right mana and enough exiled cards he still isn't quite enough

My favorite iteration is BW, I feel it gives you game against just about anything while playing favorably against a surprisingly large amount of decks. From my testing BU is the weakest of the variants, but that could have been just my build and others may be having more success with it.

I think the Mono Black version is best - you don't lose much from splashes. Bolt / Path are what you lose, and Mono Black can just play Dismember and have basically the same utility.
Mono Black also gives you a rock solid manabase and zero color screw.
Dismember is either 4 life or 3 mana, it's not quite the same utility when you're against zoo or burn.
Also, red gets you pyroclasm, shatterstorm and crumble to dust. You're not likely beating Tron without crumble, and I'm curious how you plan on beating affinity without shatterstorm or pyroclasm.
This deck is designed to be a full on value midrange-control build. Restoration Angel blinks Wasteland Strangler and Ulamog's Nullifier for insane value. Instead of running 6-8 dedicated yard removal cards, I chose to use Delay, Path, and Sphere as alternative means to process. These cards pull double duty because they disrupt and fuel the eldrazi effects (instead of exile and cantrip). This is a much more interactive deck. In lieu of actual playtesting I have been pouring over the interactions in the deck and I wanted to post it here for some feedback (I am still waiting for cards in the mail... sigh).
I am hoping that the removal package here is enough to take care of any aggro - paths, inquisition, Go for the throat - combined with Fathom feeder and wasteland strangler.
Ulamog's nullifier and delay protect against combo or other big spell-based plays. These "hard counters" are begging to be leveraged... I am thinking they will be good in the tron matchup.
This deck is full of 2-for-1 effects - strangler, nullifier, resto, herder (4-for-1 lol) to provide virtual card advantage. Fathom feeder can provide straight up CA.
Resto Angel and Blight Herder are the big value finishers.
I was thinking of the decks that take a major hit with main deck GY hate like RiP:
Grixis Variants (delve and snap)
U/R twin (snap and lavamancer)
Jund/Junk (goyfs, scooze, Lsouls, kitchen finks)
Grishoalbrand
CoCo combo decks that need the GY
Living End
Loam decks/ other GY shenanigans
I feel like this archetype is akin to running main deck blood moons lol - except your "blood moons" are providing extra value!
Any feedback would be very much so appreciated!
