One thing i really liked about the white version is aven mindcensor from the sideboard. They cover some of our weaknesses vs tron, scapeshift and amulet. With 4 path to exile and 3-4 ghost quarter i think they might even be good main board (instead of 2 lingering souls maybe)! Attacking the opponent's mana while pseudo-ramping with our lands could give us a big mana advantage.
This leads me to mono-black. I liked aven mindcensor so much that i'm considering playing 2-4 shadow of doubt in the sideboard for the same matchups. The cantriping is nice but holding 2 mana might not be.
With Reality Smasher and Eldrazi Obligator, I'm definitely feeling like an aggressive red list should be viable. I also feel like Endless One should be stronger in that list, because it lets us play out a strong creature at any point in our curve, and the red list would be more interested in trying to curve out and put damage on the board each turn.

So now red decks will be able to curve turn 2 eldrazi obligator into turn 3 reality smasher for a possible swift turn 4 kill... This is worth considering and might lead to a redesign for the red decks...
EDIT: i agree about lingering souls, i've played very little with the white deck but i never actually wanted to cast souls. We want to put 5/8s into play and do broken things not play some puny 1/1s... I might have a different opinion if i had played with the white version more and faced different matcups, but this is my first impression about the card.
Playing against creature-based decks, the only times I felt really threatened were when my opponent could field multiple fliers (or large fliers). I'm considering some Bitterblossom in the sideboard of the mono-Black list as a replacement for what you can get from Souls in the White list.
Yes, this is the primary reason to consider a Blue splash, but it does play out a little awkwardly as the deck doesn't run many other instants, so you end up tapping out a lot.

Being the "hate bear" deck seems a little too passive for what we are trying to do. Its a neat option, especially if you are on 4 GC Mainboard, but it is really counter productive to what we are trying to do. Do we really want 3 drops that don't benefit from our land situation? Souls is really really strong of a card, so its worth it, but I don't think Mindcensor is on the same level. We can do a LOT of things for tapping 3 lands.
Most of the time Lingering Souls rots in my hand due to mana probs and not being useful. When it is decent it seems like it's just too slow to matter. I'm about 50 matches deep on this deck and idk if it's what I want to be doing. Maybe I've just had a statistically improbable poor experience with it.
The manabase in this deck is way more sensitive than I first assumed. It is very hard to have enough B and W to curve out properly. I am finding that if I want 3 Eye and 1 Vault of the Archangel in a 24 land deck, then two GQ is my max.

Again, ^ this. Losing Souls means we have no air game at all and is unquestionably a bad decision for a BW build, in my mind. I rely on Souls to chump for 2-3 turns in many games while I set up my fatties (I run zero Maps).
My Current Mono B list. I went 3-0 at Monday Modern last night with this list. I feels like a good balance of removal and ramping. I cast Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger on a consistent basis, ending games once he hit the board. I beat Twin, Grixis Control, and Abzan Company. Online since I moved to this list I've been having a great streak of luck in 2 mans.
Running 3 Dismembers is seriously the best change I've made to the deck. I gets me out of the early game and into the turn where I control the game, turns 5-8. I'm going to start running leagues with this new list to see what I can get out of them.
If this deck becomes a serious ting Bitterblossom might sound awsome against the mirror... well... until Ulamog hits. But these big beasts mean nothing when a chump blocker appear every turn.
I watch the mirror match for this twice on SCG and it's defiantly amusing. It really comes down to who lands Oblivion Scion and Ulamog first.

How do the mind stones perform for you? I never feel like I need more or accelerated mana, only that I need more threats/interaction.

Except when that big fella can mill your opponent out in three turns .

It lets me accelerate early and later I can draw a card. Having the faster acceleration has been such a good thing. I'm just trying to out value my opponents and the best way to do that is to win the mana race. Each time I get to use more mana than they do is a blow to them and a boost to me. Turn 5 Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger is a real thing, and I like getting there.
Turn 1 - Eldrazi Land into Eldrazi Mimic
Turn 2 - Mountain into Obligator (attack for 6)
Turn 3 - Mountain + accel / Eldrazi Land into smasher (attack for 13)
Agreed - Eldrazi aggro is going to be very different from Eldrazi midrange. Both seem sweet as hell.
I dont see why a build with Reality Smasher has to suddenly turn into an Eldrazi aggro build. .
I'm looking at the 5/5 macho Eldraz as our version of Tarmogoyf. You dont see Jund tuning themselves into and aggro build. He is just a HUGE problematic creature that needs to be answered, and in most cases will trad 2 for 1, and possibly getting tons of damage through first.
I plan on keeping the build the way it has shown in BW, just try and cram that guy in it. If you can land him T3, (you can) and just start bashing face, your opponent is going to be on his heels the entire game. And Herder is soon to follow hahaha...
Edit: Also look what that beast fights through. Dodges Decay and Bolt. Pulse gets him but your getting an attack phase first, plus they will need to discard. If they want to Path this T3 thats value town for me as well.
He beats Tasigure, Goyf (despite our GY hate) and even Siege Rhino.

We aren't saying that he HAS to be in an aggro build but that he might be more at home in one. Zoo runs Gofy for it's aggro beats for this reason.
So far this is a very rough build to polish until new kozilek, reality smasher, and world breaker are released. I think that something similar to the basic tron engine is very much worth pursuing in order to acheive this. I am also aware that there are cards like abrupt decay, vines of vastwood, Life and Loam, the -5-5 card, among others. What would everyone's opinion on setting this up with a basic engine as above while fitting in more slots?
One thing is for sure, I can see multiple good Eldrazi decks coming out soon with the new set. Options between aggro, midrange, or control. Now every color got in on the devoid.
One question I have for all of you, how come we are not using the old Kozilek, Ulamog, or Emrakul in the board or anything? Is ulamog ceaseless hunger the best one? I personally like the looks of the new Kozilek, Desolation Twin, and of course Void Winnower as alt win conditions. What do you all think?
I think Reality Smasher is more of a midrange card than an aggro card. Most aggro decks don't want a conditional turn 4, probably turn 5 Thundermaw Hellkite. I think better aggro decks than a possible Eldrazi Blitz deck already exist in Modern. However, Smasher is very much at home in a midrange shell. This guy stomps most commonly played creatures and will almost always get to attack at least once. He is slightly resilient to spot removal and can force opponents to 2-for-1 themselves. Smasher also fights very well against Liliana of the Veil because if both players are in top-deck mode, Smasher is effectively hexproof and can swing into Liliana immediately (conversely, having both Smasher and Liliana on the board would be terrifying). I think Smasher is going to be right at home in an Eldrazi Midrange/Control deck since he creates immediate pressure against fair decks and can generate card advantage.

Thoughts?
Works like a "hard counter" in this deck with Wasteland Strangler and Blight Herder.

4 endless one

4 dominator drone
4 wasteland strangler
4 reality smasher
4 lightning bolt
sorceries : 6
4 inquisition of kozilek
