I voted to ban Twin, Scapeshift, Amulet of Vigor, and Goryo's so we can have an ultra fun format of BGx vs. BGx just like Modern was always intended to be.

You don't call "dying to removal" if the removal is more expensive in resources than the creature. If you have to spend BG (Abrupt Decay), or W + basic land (PtE) to remove a 1G, that is not "dying to removal". Strictly speaking Goyf dies to removal, but actually your removal is dying to Goyf.

Well as a positive at least complains about non-interactive decks would stop. BG/x mirrors are a long and drawn out affair after all.
I want nothing to get banned (voted also for this). But I agree with some posts, that the Modern community (especially here) is against every combo deck, which doesn't run Twin in it (dunno why). It is just a sad thing.
Furthermore, I believe, that most people are just to lazy/dumb to prepare properly against those combo decks. You have seen it with Amulet Bloom, as long as people are to lazy to "learn" how to play against this deck, it will do well (or they just yolo Blood Moon). And yes, Modern can adjust itself to handle "new" threats (looking at you Amulet Bloom).

either funpolice (Delver, Deathcloud, UW Control) or the fun decks (especially those ft. Griselbrand)
LMAO! People don't want Bloom nerfed, they want it gone. Bloom, Hive Mind & Amulet are the top picks? Good thing bannings aren't decided on internet polls.
Hive Mind & Eidolon are my picks. Hive Mind nerfs Bloom, Eidolon out of personal hate. Hey at least I'm honest, I want that card ripped appart.
I see peoploe picking the Goryo deck to be banned as people who just want to maintain the status quo, they don't want to adapt their tier decks to a changing meta, they want the meta to stay the same so their deck does good. If we ban every new deck that pops up modern simply becomes stagnant.

I chose summer bloom because its a tier 1 deck that CAN win turn 2 and this card is the enabler
I also chose goryos vengeance because it is the key problem card to being able to throw out an engine on turn 2 like griselbrand and can only get better with legendary prints. griselshoal needs more time to prove its tier 1 but I think its on its way there.
My opinion: bottom line NO tier 1 deck should be able to win turn 2 or sooner even if its only a small percent of the time.

How does Bloom win on turn 1 or 2 without Hive Mind? Take out Hive Mind and its a fragile combo that CAN win on turn 3 given they get the nut draw and the opponent has no way to deal with the creature. Am I missing something?
I chose Summer Bloom because of its potential T2 kills, but I can see the argument of how Hive Mind is the real offender. Not sure which is the healthier ban, but either of the two should work. I'd go for Summer Bloom because that slows down the deck rather than take away one of its wincons.
Simian Spirit Guide would be my next ban. It allows for degenerate plays. Free undisruptable mana generation is too easy to break.
Something from Griselbrand should be banned to stop the Turn 1-2 kills without killing the deck. Maybe Nourishing Shoal? Goryo's Vengeance? I don't know, but something should change because the format should be defined by T4 kills.

While I think the format it pretty good atm. Become Immense has made infect explode in my area. I hate playing against the deck and I hate the mechanic, but I feel become immense takes it over the top where they only have to connect once or twice at most to kill you.
I also don't like Griselbrand as I think the card is just too powerful. Anything with 'draw seven' on it should be looked at.
But like I said I don't think anything NEEDS to be banned, I would just like those two gone.
I voted for nothing because, regardless of my thoughts on which deck(s) or strategy needs to get toned down, the correct way to manage that is to release something else into the format to compete with it; and there are plenty of cards on the ban list that do NOT in any way push the turn 4 rule (ancestral visions, jace the mind sculptor, bloodbraid elf, jitte, stoneforge mystic), but incentivize people to play decks that can police the (potential) violators of the turn 4 rule.

Yes, I am a local area mod. WELP. GOOD LIFE CHANGES ALL HAPPEN AT ONCE AND SOME ARE MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE
Primary Decks:
Modern: Esper Draw-Go
Legacy: RUG Lands
EDH: Sidisi turn-3 storm
Summer bloom plays a similar role as Seething Song by enabling fast mana for a combo, which is why I think it deserves some thoughtspace. Given the lack of dominance, both in performance and prevalence, I decided against voting for the ban. It should stay on the watchlist, but right now it just isn't pervasive enough to warrant action.
Goryo's Vengeance is very powerful, but requires a lot of other cards to go off early. With such a narrow draw % allowing turn 2 comboing, and a lack of high placing finishes, this card just isn't affecting events in a manner worthy of action.
I therefore voted for no additions to the banlist.

Combo decks aren't problem by themselves, the problem is only when they break turn 4 rule which Wizards stated for modern. This makes them too fast to respond. For example let's take Goryo's Vengeance deck you can do somehow with Through the Breach but turn 2 Griselbrand is too fast to interact as most hate is just too slow. Ooze is good for graveyard hate but in this case it's just too slow. Another example is Amulet Bloom with turn 2 Titan. It's ok if he comes turn 4 or later but turn 2 it very hard to deal with. If you don't have mana untapped and removal for him you almost certainly lose. I personally don't have problems with combo as long as it does give opportunity for the opponent to interact in proper way and do something about it but when it's too fast and doesn't allow opponent to respond because of that it is a problem.
and this (too fast to deal with it problem) narrows the format further to: super fast aggro or snappy/ dispel /spell snare /thoughtsieze /goyf decks.
so when people complain why this is a goyf and snappy format remember: its because of bloom tron, griselbrand, storm ect ect. decks.
Emrakul, the Aeons Torn because what how did the ever get printed? It's awesome but also ridiculous.
Let me guess. You like to play durdle decks, right?
lol no, quite the opposite. I just take serious issue with the printing of Emrakul.
What's wrong with the flying spaghetti monster? I mean he does cost 15 mana. He is impossible to cast in any deck that is not a heavy and dedicated ramp deck.

Although it does take dedication, he is still just a single card that can say "I win now" all on its own. Coming back from an Emrakul is possible sure, but the chance of that is absurdly small. I just don't think "I win now" cards should be printed (2-card combos are an entirely other discussion).
I don't want anything banned but I wouldn't be surprised if CoCo gets banned. Not because it's OP, but because it generates the same "Stop printing pushed creatures or ban Collected Company" dilemma that Pod created.
