Well, about infect, it was a very powerful deck prekhans. I played it a lot but you had to deal with Melira so many times. It's like if you played monoU control and some high % of the field packed maindeck choke with 7 tutors to find it.
Now that Melira is out of the equation, the results are not surprising.
Pod is actually fine. You need to change your deck to be weaker to burn, but with pod in the format burn is less played by far. Also, pod being played means more scapeshift and tron, both excellent infect matchups.
It wasnt pod holding infect down, it was delver. With delver gone, infect has all good matchups Before the PT, pre KTK I played 3 modern PTQs to a combined record of 19-5-1, I believe going 4-0 against pod.
The first match is a Junk Midrange mirror? I'm actually excited for that (no really). Should be interesting.

Whoa, that's a relief. I thought you were going to play that PA brew .
I think people want to see Amulet win because it's a cool deck. I'd like to see it happen too but that doesn't mean I'd be willing to bet on it.
Wilson top selection from Hampton.
I believe Amulet will win, but not because I play it or I think it's a cool deck.
Round 1 is vs Burn. Sam Black wished his R16 opponent was playing Burn. The plan here is to tutor Radiant Fountain, then bounceland > bounce Fountain > replay Fountain every turn afterwards. Postboard the Burn player has to fight through Leylines, Thragtusks and Pyroclasms.
Round 2 is vs Abzan, guaranteed. Cohen and Black SBed with Abzan in mind and feel pretty heavily favored against them. Amulet has up to 7 cards to bring in (3 Leyline, 2 Tusk, 1 Sigarda, 1 Wurmcoil) and can get rid of the Hive Mind combo, which is dead to discard.
Round 3 depends on who won on the other side of the bracket. I predict Burn will beat Twin because Burn goldfishes faster, and Hatebears will beat Twin because Voice and Smiter lol @ counters, 4/4s lol @ Bolt, and mana dorks lol @ maindeck Blood Moon. Amulet can beat both Burn and Hatebears; Burn I already mentioned above, and Hatebears' hate is rather ineffective - Amulet has no discard so Smiter and Liege have to be hardcasted (and still lose in combat to Titan). Voice is literally a bear. Pridemage can destroy Hive Mind, but Amulet retains priority after casting it so Pridemage can't stop the kill. Pridemage also kills Amulet, but Amulet is not absolutely necessary to the deck, and Pridemage for Amulet is 3 mana for 1. Most crucially, the Hatebears deck doesn't have the land/search hate package (Leonin Arbiter, Aven Mindcensor, Ghost Quarter) that is present in D&T and older builds of Hatebears. I believe that'll be its downfall if it goes up against Amulet.
Of course, luck is a part of the game, and even a 60/40 matchup will still end in an upset 40% of the time. Or one of the Twin players on the other side could win both his matches. But just looking at things rationally, Amulet seems like it's the favorite to win it all.

Sry but your ananysis is not accurate. You have to count that for examplo both efro and antonio ID last 2 rounds. They were x-1 in modern before that.
Well, that's an added layer of complexity we are going to have to figure out. We can use the results pages to figure out who ID'd in the Modern rounds, and then crosscheck that with the 18+ points decklists to see decklists for decks that won the most. Thankfully, the results pages are laid out as tables, so this shouldn't be too hard to do in Excel.
Guys please opinions on japanese cards. Lost a 3/3 creature against Japan celestial colonade. This guy played all creatures and spells in english cards, but some cards in his manabase was japanese. I dont registrated this really ( my brain say its all fine and all english to me lets attack his empty board)...and i am sure it is a Kind of legal cheating. It is not ok, but i know legal. I Hate such people. I never forget colonade normally, but with this Tricks it can happen one time in 3 years and such people take advantage of this
If I am a customer spending premium amount of dollars, I expect a premium service. Jund falls into the category of a premium deck costing more dollars than a majority of the rest of the format. I'm not getting the desired performance ratio per dollars spent out of the Jund deck because WOTC decided to make the format more diverse.
