Holy crap you weren't kidding about the length! Let me go make some popcorn before I watch lol.
Edit:
On the subject of less painful mana bases for Ally three color decks, I think what needs to happen is a shift in how Grixis and Esper are built. I think Jund and Junk do well because the are focused on BG with a splash, or in other words, they are centered more on the fetch land they have available to them. I see Grixis focusing on black, and Esper focusing on Blue, when it's these two colors the decks should be using as splashes instead of the core. This will decrease the amount of damage they take form their own mana base, and since both decks seem to lean towards control, is extremely important. Just my thoughts on the matter, I have never built an Esper or Grixis (not a blue mage), so I'm sure there are people who will disagree with me.

I cant speak much for Grizis since I dont play it much, but I completely agree on Blue needing to be the splash color in an Esper deck.
I see a lot of Grixis lists runing bob and Thoughtseize, cards that you want to be casting as early as possible, which being that black should be the splash for mana reasons, shouldn't happen to often. If I were to make a Grixis list I wouldn't really expect a black mana until turn three. From what I've seen Grixis lends itself to a decent URb Delver lists, using counters burn and for the larger late game creatures, blacks removal. For Esper I would look at any successful WB lists and see what U could offer or add.
Now in doing this you won't be able to run some of the "staples" in either black or blue, but it's more important to run consistent list that doesn't try to kill you at every land drop. This will help these decks from collapsing on themselves from the weight of their mana base. Taking 6-8 damage from your mana base just isn't going to cut it with Burn, Zoo, Affinity, and Merfolk all waiting to punish you for doing so.

Gaining life usually can't win you the game, but creating a 17/17 creature on turn two can. Here comes a new challenger!
Do kids these days even remember Street Fighter II?
Psh it's all Call of Duty these days...
It started as a fun play on words. It ended much differently...
The Modern Land Prices return, along with some other new features. Prices are dipping down; is it time to put that budget to use?
Trying to incorporate pricing back into my rotation. Let me know what you think.
