I feel like anyone who says this has never taken time to consider how easily this deck would have been hated out of the meta. Just keep piling the unnecessary bans on, WotC. I don't even like combo and care little about it, but they're seriously ****ing up the ebb and flow of control, aggro, combo.

Time to settle up to legacy for me, as far it seems that neither combo or control will be ever playable in this crybaby format.
How does that make it right? This was not some incredibly degenerate deck that could not be dealt with .This was an ENGINE based combo deck (The weakest kind) that was easily hated out by a multitude of tools that effect other decks.
I'll state again since I'm sure you guys are going to be counter arguing with me about this, which is fine; but I do NOT play Eggs nor do I care about it. It's the simple concept of not giving us time to hate it out of existence.

Personally I am fine with this. As I said earlier, who actually enjoys playing against this deck?
Started playing Magic in Innistrad, does this mean I'm too new to the game to understand that it it's worth it for the player across from me to play a non-interactive deck for realistically 5-10 minutes on a single turn?
Sorry if you owned the deck, but it broke the turn 4 rule, was very non interactive, and in my opinion, was not fun to play against.
Finding something "unfun" is a bad argument, I'm just wondering why people are so whiny about this deck's banning?
Can't the deck still be operational on faith's reward?

This. Km not an eggs hater or fan, the deck got irritating when I played against it...but then I searched for answers to add to my decks and tried to not complain, because stuff like this ruins the game

Well I mean the deck was fine before faith's reward came out, when it just had sunrise, and now it just has reward and no sunrise, does it really make it that much worse at 1 mana more?
But even if ONE person plays the deck, even if they go 0-8, they are hurting every other player in the room by forcing rounds to go to time. You could also argue that everybody should get faster with the deck, but that isn't going to happen. Somebody will always play the deck if they can.

Because even if the deck is bad, that doesn't mean that Eggs players will get the memo. Look at Legacy - people show up with terrible decks all the time.

Eggs as a deck type is something that I feel needed to be in the format. The specter of combo decks are what make control decks viable and needed. But eggs just took. Too. Long. I hope a combo deck takes its place, and fast.
I love combo!

I am, however, very disappointed that there were no unbans. There are several cards that would be a positive impact on the format if they were unbanned as well. Very few decks feel powerful to play and the format as a whole is rather boring. I probably won't play any Modern until its PTQ season comes up again as a result.
