listening to the most recent Eh Team podcast, mr Scotty Mac said that the lists that he saw online and in his local stores were running noble heirarch. this seems a little out of place but could prove to be helpful to ramp, maybe? i have a version w/out the heirarch sleeved up and it runs very fast. i would say to keep from getting hosed from an edict effect, always try to have a fetch for a dryad arbor to sac if needed. i do feel like the modern environment will add SB cards to start hating out this deck.

Eh, they can't hate out every deck. Besides, this deck can adjust to hate.

It's an updated version of Brawl into an epic, new game.
Looks like Vines of Vastwood in the sideboard should be a pretty decent counter to it. Aside from simply ignoring it, that is. Or running more creatures. Or blowing it up.
A) Umbra's still prevent all but path to exile from killing your guys with the spotlight out.
B) white and green are premium colours in artifact removal (i.e: disenchant, nature's claim).
C) GW auras.dec is too small a portion of most metas for players to easily justify dedicating SB slots to the spotlight without sacrificing slots against other, more prevalent, match ups.
Not sure the deck exploded just yet.

In other news, crazy nitwits playing dress-up have also convicted the Hamburglar, the Cookie Crisp Crook, and the Frito Bandito of sundry snack-related thefts.
Seriously, what about this strikes you as remotely worthy of discussion?

Decks have already committed a slot or 2 for tempest of light
Glaring sunlight hits us hard though. It's really not good for this deck. It's just so cheap and hates the bogle so much.
Glaring Spotlight is worse than it seems against this deck, because you need a kill spell for it to be any useful. Removing hexproof doesn't change the fact that you still have a 8/8 first strike-vigilance-lifelinker to deal with.
What are the typical board decisions for Bogle? Especially against decks like Jund, tokens, infect, storm, etc.
Are you guys auto boarding G2 Stony Silence? or Nature's Claim?
Cards' that I auto board are: Stony Silence (2), Nature's Claim (2), Retether (3) then I work the rest of my board around my local meta. Which include Pithing Needle, Echoing Truth (I run a bant variant), Leyline of Sanctity, Scryb Ranger, Fog, Blessing of Nature, Rule of Law (2)
Strong SB cards include: Spellskite, Spirit Link, Gaddock Teeg, Leyline of Sanctity (or True Believer, possibly). Running that white card that exiles a white or red permanent seems good, since it stops Liliana, or Pithing Needle/Phyrexian Revoker can do that as well I suppose.

If that's your "casual," what on earth is required for "formal," a butler in livery shuffling the decks whilst a pianist plays Brahms in front of a tapestry?
How much does this deck cost to put together, and what are some cuts I could make for budget?

The deck is pretty budget to begin with. Your most expensive investments will be the Misty Rainforests, Shocklands, Verdant Catacombs, Some sideboard cards and the Daybreak Coronets.
Daybreaks (4x) run at about 15-17 each
Misty Rainforest (4x) are between 27-35 each
Verdant Catacombs (2x) 20-25 each
Shocklands are whatever they are now
You can get away with some of the manabase like I have, but that is due to the lack of availability of paper cards as compared to the modo version
If I do we'll at the PTQ I am going to, I think I will be leaving with enough money to buy this deck . I love this deck, so fun (and not that bad of a jund matchup)

It looks like GW Bogle Aura Aggro (w/e etc.) has got a new toy in Gatecrash, maybe as an apology for printing Glaring Spotlight: Forced Adaptation.
Of course, it's not the best topdeck in the world, and unlike Spider Umbra, it doesn't grant Totem Armor. However, from my experience, GW Bogle Aura games tend to go long enough that this puppy can load on 2 or more +1/+1 counters in a single game.
Plus, if they cast Tempest of Light too late, you still have the +1/+1 counters.

I think the main thing we need to tackle is the fact that all of our cards die to Engineered Explosives at one. I think we should fix this. (though, Forced Adaptation looks like it might fill a hole we have in the deck, unlike Keen Senses )
Perhaps a card we really need is something that grants hexproof and has some nice buffing. I'll do a gatherer search tonight and see what I'll come up with, in addition to testing the gatecrash awesomeness :3
edit: found this gem in gatecrash. Not sure how playable, but seems good if your creature has a rancor on it.

How relavent is Canopy Cover except maybe when attached to Kor-Spirit Dancer? from a retrospective look, it looks fantastic for her alone. But considering that the rest of our creatures can already deal with not being targeted it would fill up a slot where?

either cutting daybreak coronet (which, in my testing doesn't feel essential to myself, even though it is an amazing card), or halving them. Or cutting keen senses. Though, I'd most likely just run it as sideboard tech for glaring spotlight. Though, I'm definitely going to see the real usefulness of hexproof-giving enchantments. the real card we're concerned about is path to exile. So perhaps an enchantment giving protection from opponents spells (not oracle text=hexproof)

Emerge Unscathed/Blessed Breath or Apostle's Blessing are probably fine options, as well.

Ensnaring Bridge is better, and every color has an out if your SB has room for it:

R: Aura Barbs
G: Back to Nature

Still cheaper than today's standard decks though.
I'm sad this deck didn't do too well in the GP Billbao. A top 16 would be nice. I wasn't expecting top 8 but hoped for 16.
