Hey guys, first post. This is a deck ive been working on for a while now and id like to hear your feedback.
So the idea is Jund, with a fauna shaman, vengevine, demigod engine.
That interaction is very silly leading to very unfair things. Demigod of course combos with himself and vengevine with bloodbraid. The deck is designed to hit 2 creatures with bloodbraid the only other options being lightning bolt(worst option still not bad tho) and maelstrom pulse, which gets rid of any threat on the field most of the time. Also lately Ive added lilianna because hitting her is never bad and we win discards by getting top throw away demigods and vengevines.
Deathrite shaman-gives us mana ramp, life as well as giving us a clock when we need it. Very versatile, is still good in this deck, no suprise.
Fauna shaman-Engine for deck to run on. Discarding vengevines for BBE or demigods for more demigods, if left unchecked usually wins games.
Tarmogoyf-Uh, its tarmogoyf? Ya still a great beater here. not much more to say
Lilianna-Wins discards wars as we pitch away vengevine and demigod, buys us time, pretty good off of BBE acts as a cruel edict, pretty stong.
Kitchen finks-Ahhh kitchen finks, one of the best and most annoying creatures to deal with. Helps with bad matchups such as RDW and is super annoying in combat.
BBE-Very strong in this deck bc it helps grab vengevines back from the graveyard, cant count how many times I have hail maried a pulse off of a BBE. Kinda neccessary in any jund based aggro deck.
Vengevine-Fuel for the shaman, causes control decks to cry. can get out of control when u have a fauna shaman. obv.
Demigod of revenge-One of my favorite cards, Great against non white removal. Hes quick and can come out of nowhere and end games specially with a shaman on field.
Lands
As u notice there are 6 filters in this deck which is primarily turning that useless green mana into red/black when we need it. Sac lands into ravinca lands, not much else to say here.
Sideboard
Current sideboard
Great sable stag still here from when fae were rampant in extended, everything else is pretty up to date.
Great sable stag-destroys fae, outside of that, doesnt rlly do much. The other matchup it goes in against is merfolk but since they usually just spreading seas islandwalk, he doesnt rlly do anything. I like the toolbox idea of grabbing him tho.
Batterskull-recent addition, it stops aggro in their tracks pretty well, too bad we cant grab it with the shaman.
faerie macabre-can grab with shaman and exile targets on the stack, pretty fun and sneaky play. maybe there are more powerful options now that im not thinking about but i like this one.
Fulminator mage-just recently taken 2 out of the main board for lilys. Versatile and not a lot of matchups where he blanks. Neccessary versus tron and hitting turn 3 ful mage turn 4 bbe into ful mage is pretty GG.
Slaughter games-Take the stuff they need, combo pieces, key creatures whatever.
thoughtseize-trying to find a way to make this mainboard. Great card that can disrupt virtually any deck.
Maybe board
Lots of options here
I liked the idea of Stillmoon cavalier versus jund still. Seems weird but can do a lot. Blocks kills deathrite, BOB, BBE with 1st strike, cant terminate, pulse, decay him away only real answer is goyf or bolt, maybe he still is weak but I like the idea of toolbox grabbing protection, and hes a creature for BBE.
Vithian renegades-hes our manic vandal but hes 1 bigger for the cost of another green which is easy to get, 1 bigger yay! BBE triggers yay!
I rlly like this deck because its strong and fun, and even if they kill fauna thats ok it still runs totally fine with out her, as all the creatures are still strong and relevant. Thx for feedback
Nice deck. Lots of great cards and good synergies. A few decks around here play with Vengevines, and Demigod is great in that kind of deck too. Most Jund decks here are running more removal, but it's just fine to run less if that's enough for you.
hey thx man, yah i know that removal is low and maybe i could switch out something, although i changed the 3 pulses into 3 thoughtseizes and testing that out. I straight up lose to combo decks at least be4 the board so i need so hand disruption in the main I found. Any removal u think I should sub for? Also my sideboard atm is
ya i see what ur saying, although the deck runs fine even without seeing vengevine or demigod. Still got turn 1 thoughtseize turn 2 goyf turn 3 finks turn 4 BBE. so it doesnt neeed vengevine in graveyard turn 3 but its a nice option. hmmm, ive been testing and it seems to run pretty consisently like jund, and reaches a little farther late game with recursion and demigods. perhaps even a more transformation sideboard plan maybe?
NICE! i love that idea, didnt even think about him, wow ima try him out immediately. Ya I think that would add a ton more consistency to the discard outlets, definitely. Wow what a great idea haha thx a ton man. Only thing is my rdw matchup gets a little worse
What do you guys think about the removal and disruption. 3 bolts and 3 thoughtseize the best maindeck options? or should I try to fit pulse back in? I like what I have right now, but without pulse theres a lot of things I dont have an answer too, anything with toughness higher then 3 w/o combat tricks is immune to me. Then again I dont know what Id take out? maybe move thoughtseize to sideboard? Disruption seems pretty powerful main board tho. Also I dont want to cut too many creatures so BBE can hit dudes for VV. Maybe turn lily into pulses, Ive heard lingering souls is rlly annoying

I like having at least 5 hand disruptions and about 8-9 removal spells. Generally, for Jund it seems like the "suggested" balance is 3 Thoughtseize and 2 Inquisition of Kozilek. For removal I see 4 Lightning Bolt, 2 Abrupt Decay and 2 Terminate. Mostly the creatures are built around utility with a few beaters. If you only wanted to run 1 disruption and a removal... I would probably do 4 Thoughtseize and 4 Lightning Bolt to be the most versatile.

and for the last slot im thinking either graveyard hate or artifact hate so 1 of the following,
any thoughts?
In comparison to Dredgevine, which has half it's deck dedicated to filling the yard with Vine, it just wouldn't be consistent enough.
