I'm experimenting running him in my decklist. In my opinion, he's another buffer for players to hit instead of our already brittle life totals from shocklands and thoughtseize. However, I'm debating his usefulness as a draw engine as so far he has forced me to discard cards I would have rather used later. The only perk with his discard is that he does help fuel Goyf, however Liliana and our hand disruption seems to do just fine in that regard.
Any other thoughts or inputs on the matter?

The only deck I would even consider running Tibalt in would be some sort of Loam deck. Even there, Liliana is probably better but if you wanted a R/G version it could still get you some extra dredges.

Liliana is better as a discard outlet than Tibalt by an astronomical amount. Tibalt is just really bad, as to be expected for a two mana planeswalker.

Mhjames: mtgsalvation: I DON'T SEE HOW THIS CARD IS GOOD. I KNOW PATRICK CHAPIN USED IT AND WENT 8-0, BUT THAT WAS A SMALL TOURNAMENT. THE CARD IS TOO SLOW. YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THE OPPONENT HAS A SPELL IN THE GRAVEYARD
Everyone knows that good luck and good game are such insincere terms that any man who does not connect his right hook with the offender's jaw on the very utterance of such a phrase is no man I would consider as such.

Hyperbole at its finest.
