@Thriss: I love Venser. It's literally my favorite card in all of Magicdom. But I'm not sure he does fit. He's not reccurable via SunTitan. And he may interact well with Snapcaster, on some corner case where you want to bounce Snapcaster for another go but, Cryptic already does the same thing.
I chose Elspeth over Sword of Feast and Famine, which I chose over Venser. While she's not reccurable either at least she's tough as nails. Venser is a little feather in a storm while Elspeth is a rock - tough to remove. Instead of Venser I included 2 Repeals which do a similar job to him but Cantrip AND are recurrable with Snapcaster. Elspeth is a clock when I'm on offense and a wall when I'm on deference. Venser can't do that.
After playing control for YEARS I've realized that I can usually get control of the game but unless I finish out the opponent in short order I risk loosing control and having it all crumble. Games turn on the play of single cards these days and Control's gotta have a clock to stop the opponent. Both in terms of life total and in terms of the 50 minute round.
Though I do agree that more Kitchen Finks may be in order.
I am a firm believer in the "x3-x4 Finks" method. It just does so much to aggro and can take down a Nacatl on the defense. It may as well have defender most of the time for me, but occasionally it can be used for whacking or forcing a bad defense.
Baneslayer angel...Elspeth...Gideon...Sun Titan...manlands. All viable options. I'm not sure what the best list would be. I like kitchen finks...recursion and jumpable with Elspeth seems cool. There is also Plumeveil..only plus is it has flash and 4 power and defense.
I've been thinking about dropping the 4 telling time for 3 jace beleran and 1 more of either: Sword of Feast and Famine, Plains, Spell Pierce, or Ghostly Prison.
anyway try using serum visions i think is one of the best replacements for preordain atm.
I have found that Telling Time is better than serum. You look at three. You have to pay an extra, but it is instant so you can do it whenever you need.
I've been working on a non-affinity Erayo lock, and it seems so be going pretty well. It's UWb, and uses Pmana, Cascade, and/or Pacts to flip Erayo.

Just wondering how you are able to use pacts successfully, without losing when you have to pay the upkeep cost?
This is a deck list that I have gotten to test minimally, but has beaten combo and polymorph decks. Obviously needs to test against more deck types. I am most worried about Zoo and tough aggro match-ups. Still working on a SB but will be including Trickbind and Mindbreak Trap. Trickbind can always be used against storm, as it is a triggered ability.
Mind you I did this at 7AM after not sleeping and also tried to recall this whole list from memory. Still would love feedback. And i will edit any errors I made in my list once I am able to check it over.
What about Leyline of Singularity for Zoo? Not to familiar with how Zoo runs, but seems like a fun way to beat it. Obviously there are better methods than this card, and on top of that fact I could just be way off on this call.
