Have you had any issues with not enough good stuff? You have 20 1-drops! You also have only 8 lords, so I would think getting Bramblewood out becomes more important than before, but you don't have GSZ....
I don't know, if you're going to run an Elf Warrior package, how can we not play the full complement of Lords and include the Imperious Perfect and Elvish Champion? Seems like a no-brainer to me. I don't think what Silex is posting is even better than the current standard Elf deck which includes Vengevine, to be honest. It's the non-standard Perfect and Champion that give this deck some weight. Forestwalk will take out quite a few decks, and the Perfect can also pump out Elves on dead turns.
Cloudstone Curio usually does the trick quite well. You can go infinite with Heritage Druid + Nettle Sentinel + any elf. Ranger of Eos is a boss in elves. I'm glad I still have my 4 Temple Gardens, because it is about to rain elves!!
This is my current list. I (obviously) love Perfect, as it usually produces 4/4 or better every turn. Its a powerful weapon vs Zoo, and basically forces them to remove it ASAP. I tried Talara's Battalion, but I feel it got stuck in my hand too much.
I never liked Imperious perfect in extended elves but Elvish champion could be something i might add to sideboard or maindeck.
My deck is sacrificing Imperious perfect for lead the stampede as both can fill the same post wrath recovery i'll switch between things and finalise what I might play in a month when the first modern tournament will be played in Ireland(albeit a legacy tournament with a gentlemans agreement to play fair)
The Perfect's ability to pump out elves is secondary to his Lord ability to pump your elves. The Perfect is also a Warrior so the Paragon further boosts it. We can almost play a Legacy Elves aggro deck in Modern, minus the NO/Progenitus shell. In think I'd fit at least 2 of the Perfect in there somewhere.
But, I do agree that without Sylvan Messenger, we DO need to play Lead the Stampede.

The Elvish Champion isn't in your deck? It's even better against Zoo for obvious reasons. It's a good idea to fit all our Lords in there somehow, even if you're not playing 4 of each. I'd recommend at least 2 Champion -- I know it's not a Warrior -- for the pump and forestwalk in place of the Huntmaster. I'd also suggest some Mutavaults, which give us some board presence against Sweepers.
Maybe Eldrazi Monument? Flying and indestructible seem pretty good and it works well with imperious perfect. I'd also like to second the mutavault--it's hard not to like it in this deck.

Sig by Dark Night Cavalier at Heroes of the Plane Studios!
My bad, I copied and pasted the wrong list. As of yesterday, this was my list :3
I have tested Visionary actually, but the card draw generally is not that big a deal, especially since if we are already running Lead the Stampede. Wren's Run on the other hand is a very powerful creature by itself, plus has deathtouch plus is a warrior.
I see Eldrazi Monument as a more expensive Hunting Triad. I have literally never lost a game where Triad resolved, because the +3/+3 to all creatures is just insane, especially when odds are or creatures have trample already.
What's the list with a red splash? I tried one, but it didn't turn out too well.
Sadly, not a modern deck. I'd love it if we could play the Sylvan Messenger! And, no Champion? Can't believe it -- forestwalk is so useful against many of the decks, and it pumps all your elves! I also don't really like the fact that he or she is playing less than a full complement of Nettle Sentinel and Heritage Druid. If you're going to play that combo for mana, I think it's an all-in kind of play and you need to play 4 of both.
Finally, Deglamer? Where the heck did that idea come from? No, no no!

Sadly, it is true. However, the poster specifically said it 4-0'd an overextended event, which was invasion onward.
Deglamer I can see being used against cards like Wurmcoil engine, as it evades the dies trigger. I know I used that in my Extended elves deck for the ptq a while back.
I agree with the Champion, that it can be really good in some match-ups (decks running forests specifically), however, with a good look at that list, we see that he opted for a slightly different approach and added the punishing grove combo.

Take a mechanic from the pre-mirrodin era, and a mechanic after the mirrodin era, and create a card that flavorfully melds both mechanics.
I think that a competitive modern aggro elves deck can gain a lot by looking at legacy NO elves. Obviously this deck wont have the NO back up combo that legacy aggro elves have, but tool boxing with green sun zenith gives us more answers. a singleton Viridian Shaman Main board should def be included because swords and other pesky artifacts will be all over modern. Dauntless Escort, Gaddock Teeg are auto include sideboard GSZ targets.
@Raggedjoe, would you like any help writing up a full primer/need banners made for it? I would love to help out.
it costs less and can draw same or more cards usually.
It wil draw you the same cards for 1 on average only if you run 36 creatures. Harmonize does not reveal anything and has to chance of drawing lands which can be relevant
The idea of Gaddock Teeg and Escort on the sb sounds good, especially Teeg. He should be very powerful vs UW Control.
I'm not sure I agree with Verhey's list. I think that 8 fetchlands is a little excessive, especially because if you run red you run 3-4 Blood Moon SB. What if we simply used 4 Craig and 4 Copperline Gorge? I also dont know how useful Pendlehaven is.
Anyone who would like to help I would greatly appreciate it. I'm a senior in HS, so I'm slightly busy with college stuff right now I'm also going to be away from Internet for this next week, but I'll be playing with the deck and hopefully have some stuff to talk about. If someone feels a need to remake the thread while I'm gone, feel free.
I've also noticed Lys Alana Huntmaster is underperforming at 4 cmc. It's a 4-drop elf warrior that doesn't really do anything right away; it generates its first elf warrior token on its next turn, so it's generally an inferior Imperious Perfect. Elvish Promenade would have more impact (generally drops 3+ elf warrior tokens immediately)... but I'd be better off with more Hunting Triads or some Wren's Run Vanquishers at 2 cmc.

Also... what about akromas memorial or obsidian battle axe
The Battle-axe costs 3, so if your going to play it, it means playing one less lord...
Memorial is very expensive... By the time I can afford it I want my guys turning sideways...
Mantle is only an infy combo if its on a Archdruid... who are, for obvious reasons, major removal targets...
Just my first thoughts on those cards. I don't think Battle-axe has much of a chance of being good, but the other two might.

id actually replace the huntmaster... a 4 cost elf is never good.
The only 4 cost elf worth running is not an elf... its cameleon colossus.
Im also surprised you are not running elvish visionary

12 post is a scary deck
A red splash for moon effects would also be well worth it

Elvish Visionary is just a 1/1 with cantrip; not good enough, imo. Elvish Champion is inferior to both Elvish Archdruid and Imperious Perfect unless you're playing against a green deck... so maybe as a 1-of (to GSZ into) or in the sideboard is OK.
