I tossed Spellskites into the sideboard because I realized that in a mirror match, if i'm on the draw the other deck has a fair chance of getting online before I do. With the Spellskite it could buy me the extra turn I need to combo out. Plus I feel it would help in a lot of match ups that could happen.
I thought about it, but something about Cascade bluffs I don't like. (not sure what) As for the Rituals not sure yet. Anything else?
With all of your R/U fixing, cascade bluffs is almost nessisary. It taps for either color of mana.
It's also far far better than Crumbling Necropolis. the 4 spellskites should be dredge hate. I recommend Call to mind as a x of to get back your dragonstorm if they counter it.

This deck needs some Scalding Tarns, fetchlands are good. Mental Misstep would be good and Gitaxian Probe is a must, I would probably kick out 1 Hellkite for sure, but I don't know what else.
My two cents.

Thanks to SushiOtter at Hakai Studios for the great banner.
Your dragon set-up is bad. Karrthus lets you kill with a much smaller storm count.
To be honest, I have no idea what your talking about, or how that is faster, minus the need for storm count...well actually i don't even see that. I mean you could maybe get away with a storm count of two, beam in the dragons deal ten, then swing for 12.

I have been thinking about Mental Misstep as well and i'm thinking about replacing the Spellskites with it, or replace the Remands with it.
I almost put the Scalding Tarns in this deck, but I don't want to spend an extra 40$ on a set of fetch lands. Still a contender but it won't be in the starting build for this deck. (If they go down to 5$ then i'll jump on them)

So what happens when you draw one Bogardan Hellkite and the opponent is playing Wrath of God? You're just going to concede? No, you're going to search out a Karrthus in addition to Bogardan Hellkites.

That's far too narrow a situation to warrant the dead card.
What if you get KARRTHUS in your hand? Then what? Nothing. You can't do a damn thing with it.
This isn't a contest to see which Dragon wins in a heads-up fight.
Hellkite Overlord is more expensive (for hard-casting purposes) and prone to all the same removal as Karrthus, but Karrthus kills at a lower storm than Overlord.
RE: "What if you draw Karrthus?"
Then you just get four Bogardan Hellkites, as usual.
If you're going to combo off, just grab four Bogards and be done with it. Don't waste time with Karrthus.
I don't even understand the need for him.
What happens if you have a Bogardan Hellkite in hand? You lose if they wrath?
Dude, Karrathus aint that good. Hellkite Overlord eats him up
Karrthus gives your other dragons haste and swings for 7. That means your Hellkites are doing 10 damage the turn they come in instead of 5. It's perfectly possible to kill an opponent who's fetched a shockland with Karrthus + Bogardan Hellkite alone.
Also, why is See Beyond not in there? Dragonstorming isn't that great when your dragons are in your hand.

Free Storm +1, card, and a Peek so you can be absolutely sure your opponent is primed for the DRAGONING? Seems like a no-brainer to me.
That is an excellent point, but what to replace....

And I'm trying this with Moltensteel Dragon over Charger. Gives us something to allow us to "be the beatdown." Or just chumpkill something.
Edit: Oh, hey, Modern is a format.

Spell, Spell, Dragonstorm - "Take 21"
Non-Karrthus Build:
Spell, Spell, Dragonstorm - "Take 10"
Seems pretty easy to understand to me.
Edit: Oh, hey, Modern is a format.
Sure, if they don't have blockers, removal, things like Propaganda, etc.
Whereas spellspellspelltake20 ends the game without any of that being even remotely relevant to the situation.
540 Peasant cube- Gold EditionSomething SpicyDo you really think Hellkite Charger is better in this deck than Karthus? Come on now.
Edit: Oh, hey, Modern is a format.
But throwing in another mana-intensive dragon isn't the answer.
Karrthus is the best Bogardan Hellkite alternative, and this deck needs Bogardan Hellkite alternatives to function. That's all there is to it, really.
Edit: Oh, hey, Modern is a format.
Karathus is meh.
id rather pull out 3 Hellkites. Karrathus has no wow factor besides giving haste
