Play defenders, ramp mana, cast Sphinx's Revelation for a million, cast Eldrazi Legends, win. Gideon + Tamiyo tagteam to tap then destroy problem creatures, or force their creatures to attack to draw a zillion cards with Tamiyo (and hopefully gain life with Perimeter Captain too!)
That's the basic concept anyways, here is the decklist I have been using on Cockatrice to reasonable success, even versus some tier one decks (Jund, 4CC Gifts, Zoo).
This deck's weakest matchups are storm and the new Jund Souls decks in my experience, as well as any deck that runs boardwipes in the mainboard. Luckily the only tier 1 deck running boardwipes, in my experience, has been 4CC gifts, but this deck tends to win longer games so it isn't too much of a problem.
Obviously this deck is excellent against any fast aggressive or tempo deck that wants to win while limiting my board presence. Walls that cantrip help me to keep the shields up while waiting to eventually get an opening to cast Sphinx's Revelation and win with sheer card advantage.
Just realized I haven't played against Karn Tron with this build yet, which, unless I can race them, seems like another bad matchup. Other than changing up the mana base to include Ghost Quarter what else can I do to help that matchup?
