It will drop when it rotates from standard, everything tends to drop when it rotates, but that is a little while off yet. It's pretty stable where it is at the moment, as it's a highly demanded card, but it's unlikely to reach anywhere near it's previous spike of $60+ that happened before its reprint.
I think thoughtseize is about where it is going to stay, even after rotation. Its not being heavily played in Standard so the price we are seeing is because of its use in older formats.
Personally, I'd keep it and play it. It may go down a bit when it rotates, but I doubt it will go down much unless it appears in a precon. After that it can only get more valuable, albeit very slowly, due to it's utility.
Is there anything worth investing in on MTGO? I'm considering buying playsets of DRS and snapcaster right now they're both around $4-5. I also want to get goyf/bob should I buy now or wait? I know bob has dropped a couple bucks this month fromlike 25 to 21 now. Not so sure what goyf was at a couple months ago, but it's at 70 now.
Investing in DRS and snapcaster is not wroth it. Unless you are planning to gain profit in a very, very long term perspective. That has been proven that investing in rares on MODO is not extremely lucrative, i suggest you should focus on mythics.
Considering Bob and Goyf - Tarmo will definitely bounce back from about 65 (which it is at right now) to about 80-85 probably. Bob is unlikely to cross the 27-28 tix margin in the coming future (if the price increase happens).
But, as i said, you might want to invest in raletively cheap mythics from standart in decent amounts rather than pay about 320-330 tix for playset of goyfs.
I need to be more careful with my words haha by invest I meant buying a play set that I wouldn't really plan on selling anytime soon if ever. Still thanks you answered my question pretty well given my bad choice of wording. It sounds like I should grab goyfs and bobs while they're slightly cheaper right now. I'll probably get the play sets of snapcaster and drs since 35 for the two of them seems well worth it to just have them even if they both some how go down to $1-2.
eh, no problem In that case you can safely buy drs and snaps - the price will not drop for them, thats for sure. Those cards are higly liquid and u can easily buy/sell them any tiem u want. You definitely want to grab goyfs now. Not sure about Bobs. THey are stable at price for now but i can see a gap of 1-2 months when they will be a bit cheaper.
voice of resurgence is going down and down. do you think it will have a spike back when modern season starts?
Maybe a small spike, but I see this one coming down to earth and probably settling in around $25 or so for the long haul. It's a damn good card, but not necessarily an auto include and the hype has died down a bit. I'm usually wrong about these things too though, so who knows.

GW aggro is a really good deck for Jund metagames and it includes Voice as a 3/4 of. Also most of the Pod lists that placed Top8 use it as a 2/3 of so I think it can get a small spike on the modern ptq season.
Down the line I can only see this guy staying strong or even going up, something that resembles Noble Hierarch price trajectory. Is a solid card with a unique effect unlikely to be reprinted for the next 4 years. And if it gets reprinted it will be at mythic rarity.

I would expect voice to drop a decent amount before climbing again during modern season. Pod is one of the most popular strategies in modern and voice is fantastic in that deck so it should be a reasonably popular mythic during the ptq season.

After rotation voice will be a card that only sees play in modern in either pod or hatebears.
That is not the recipe for a 30$ card. It'll fall.

If you couldn't tell I hate greedy blue decks.
Are there any hope of these ever coming down or getting some fresh supply aka reprint?
The rumor/speculation is that they'll be reprinted in the block following Theros. Wizards knows they need reprinted, for balance reasons though they can't print them while shocks are in standard.
If you want to play modern, the best way to do it is online. Lots of unique decks. Shocks are 10-25 bucks each only, and they are a good bet to increase so investment potential.
Is it just to me or has this forum been flooded with fetchland talk lately?
"When are the fetchlands being reprinted?"
"Are they going to reprint both the Onslaught and Zendikar fetchlands together?"
Or the much beloved "ban fetchlands" while also adding some poor, convoluted reasoning that's only masking the poster's dislike of their price tag.
I own seven fetchlands so far, and I bought them all wisely when they were on sell. Not saying that you definitely need them to play Modern, but the flexibility they offer is just too good to pass up.
I'm hoping for a reprint as well, even though I don't need them as it would be nice for everyone to have access to them.
I bought playsets of the modern legal ones when they were cheap, and I tend to do the same with most decent rare lands that come out as I never know what decks I'll want to play in the future. In general good lands are always worth grabbing when they come out, as prices tend to go up on them over time.
On a side note, you can easily play modern without them.
I doubt the old fetchlands would be reprinted; collectors will lose out a lot if they are reprinted.

712.5b The controller of another player can't make choices or decisions for that player that aren't called for by the rules or by any objects. The controller also can't make any choices or decisions for the player that would be called for by the tournament rules.
Example: The player who's being controlled still chooses whether he or she leaves to visit the restroom, trades a card to someone else, agrees to an intentional draw, or calls a judge about an error or infraction.

Well screw the collectors. I am fine with them losing money if it means that Modern can stop having manabases that make 3-color wedge decks and enemy color decks have better mana than allied color decks and shard decks. Modern needs those original fetchlands to be reprinted, and if they are, I am willing to bet money that the Zendikar fetches will be too.

I don't think Wizards cares about collectors who are investing in cards not on the reserve list. Obviously, reserve list collectors are given special treatment, hence the existence of Modern in the first place. But if a card isn't on the reserve list, it's fair game for reprinting no matter what collectors might argue.

Agreed, and I hope you're right. A reprint would be very good for the health of the format. This is coming from a player who already has playsets as well. I could care less if the price tanks, so long as it increases attendance at the local weekly modern events.
Annnnddd...disrupting shoal just went from a buck fifty to over eight dollars. Funny as I almost bought like 30 of these at the end of last month thinking that the Travis Woo article would spike its price and I could make a quick buck, I had no idea it would be by this much though.
What do you guys think, will it drop or is it here to stay at this price? Free counters are always great (I remember how everyone underestimated Force of Will at first), but this is nowhere near that quality of card.
I guess a lot will depend upon how this brew does in Modern.
