It is typical for vials to be sided out on the draw but they will more likely than not still be left in when they are on the play. Just something to keep in mind.
With your actual list and SB we could probably provide some better information.

My list is pretty standard. Something to note, I only played Game 1's against my buddy on the Eldrazi & Taxes list, purely to see how they would go and I'd say it was about 70/30 in his favor. I'll have to jam some post-board games to see how that goes, but the game 1's are just insanely rough. I tried playing conservatively, and I tried playing under and both didn't seem to get me there.
I've updated my list, taking out Fulminators and adding more Collective Brutality. I'm considering a Dispel or two, but I don't know what to take out over Ceremonious Rejection, and without Fulminators I wouldn't want to cut those due to Tron/Edlrazi.
that's a good point. what relevant creatures in modern have regeneration? We don't care about Thrun.. experiment one..? Ezuri is the only one I can think of. instant speed and all but we are definitely cold to a resolved LotV and Karn most of the times which sucks
Hi guys, wanna ask that what do you think about rakdos charm over nihil spellbomb in the sb options? Literally, pros are that there are multiple effect that fit in sb that can deal with decks that go wide, deal with problematic artifacts and a grave hate presence as an instant speed. Cons are it cost 1 more compared to spellbomb and it doesn't kill creatures with its cost. Do you think that its pros > cons, and strong enough to replace nihil spellbomb?
Other options to deals with planeswalkers include various counterspells, Pithing Needle and Hero's Downfall. The latter 2 I have played at one point or another in some grixis list but not this one as of yet. Feel free to try one of these or Dreadbore if there's enough planeswalker decks in your meta.

I was under the impression that taking out cantrips (the thought scours not the wraiths) was a terrible idea. What circumstances make it acceptable vs. Grixis Delver?
Would love to see a general sideboard guide for this deck in the primer, if someone knowledgeable could be bothered.
Been jamming it online to decent results but I'm finding it hard to figure out what needs to be cut in which matchups - especially when it comes to cards like Scour and Wraith.
I feel like intimate knowledge of white decks is crucial as RIP blows us out so hard but it's not always an auto-include in white decks.
I think not playing Liliana, the Last Hope is a more recent budget concession in the vein of surgical extraction and engineered explosives. Luckily, I acquired my 2 LtLH while playing a WB midrange deck in recent standard, but I will not cough up $100 for another 4 of the aforementioned sideboard cards (I have 2 Extirpate and 2 Ratchet Bombs, but really don't play them either). She is great, but I can understand why people do not play her. It's wishful thinking, but I think her price will plummet when she rotates out of standard.
Just getting all kinds of wrecked by Ad Nauseam here. Leyline BOOOOOO
I feel the same. It was pointed out to me that Echoing Truth could deal with it, but that feels SOOOOO bad. For the most part, there is just absolutely nothing reasonable Grixis can do about a resolved Leyline. There are a handful of locals that play AN and I just cross my fingers they don't get Leyline out (or they don't mulligan into one). Between discard and Thought Scouring them, I feel fine in the matchup. But with Leyline out, it feels almost unwinnable outside of a perfect godhand.
Just staying Liliana the last hope is way too expensive right now for the utility she provides, mainly because of Standard, and I can see why people would not run her.
Yeah, enchantments are a problem for grixis colors. The most efficient "answer" we have for them is Kiora's Dismissal, but it only answers them for a turn, and is kinda narrow. Echoing Truth is less narrow, but still only answers an enchantment for one turn. I think against AN, you just can't keep hands without a quick threat because you aren't guaranteed to be able to attack their hand with discard.

Thoughtseize is a card I WOULD NEVER, EVER side out especially vs a grindy, attrition deck that plays Delve creatures as well. Never do that is my opinion.
I wouldn't say never. I think it's correct to board out Thoughtseizes against Burn and other fast aggro decks if you have enough cards to board in after boarding out all your Street Wraiths. In my current configuration against Burn, I have 6 cards I can board in, so I'm going to cut the 4 Wraiths and 2 Thoughtseizes. It's also ok to board them out against grindy proactive decks like Abzan or Jund Midrange, because they'll be very bad top-decks if you get into a grindy game.

have a few reports to give as I played a lot, won't report on my 3-1 FNM as its FNM
The Face to Face open went pretty bad for me at 2-5 but here's my report.
Round 1 I quickly lose to 8 rack. I didn't know the match but he said he is pretty favoured in the match. he eventually top 8'd. is there any way we can make this match better or is it supposed to be awful?
0-1
Get paired against abzan round 2. match went terribly, couldn't get anything going.
0-2, pretty much done but decided to play the day to get experience with the deck
Round 3 I get paired against storm, which i feel should be fine but I played awfully. I mis sequenced the way I tapped my lands and could have killed both his creatures that reduced the cost of his spells if I tapped lands right. Probably should have mulled game 2.
0-3. can't even prize now, playing just for experience
Round 4 I make quick work of Grixis Control, I drew pretty reasonably and played tight and won. Game 2 he mulled to 5 and missed his second land drop. I didn't get into much discard but I was able to pressure him, mostly by sticking a turn 3 Liliana the Last Hope. What really blew him out was him tapping out to animate a tar pit to attack my Iily, I was able to K command it once he tapped to attack. I believe I hit the -7 2 turns later. I feel my knowledge of how Grixis Control served me well
1-3, at least i got my first win
Round 5 i lose quickly to burn, might have gotten too aggressive game 1 and drew poorly game 2.
1-4.
Round 6 I lose to chord. Literally the worst draws I got all day, didn't last long.
Round 7, make quick work of some kid playing abzan infect, at this point he had no wins. Didn't bother asking why he played abzan infect over UG or even sultai, seemed kinda budget and he wasn't very good.
2-5, probably my worst event since getting on the deck, but it was my first large event with Grixis Death's Shadow.
today (Sunday), I went 3-2 at a GPT and finished 5th, out of top 4 the way tie breakers and standings went forced to play my last round which I lost
Round 1 I make quick work of akid borrowing one of our better players UR breach deck. He missed a good opportunity to bolt snap bolt me to 1 game 1, I think I might have lost game 2 quickly then beat him quickly game 3 because he couldn't draw enough lands
1-0
Round 2 I make quick work of infect, swung for exact damage after he didn't leave a noble heirarch up as a blocker, then forced him on the defensive game 2.
2-0
Round 3 I lose 1-2 to slivers, didn't really know how to play aaginst him and he got some good hits off coco
2-1, so much for double drawing
round 4 i 2-1 affinity, drew pretty well game 1, kept a stupid hand game 2, game 3 I fele he put too much value on being able to blood moon me game 3, when I was just able to punish him through it
3-1 but had to play as there were 5 X-1s. 4 of us had to play and the X-1 who got paired down got the concession. I lost my win and in to elves and I was the 3-2 who didn't make top 4.
so are chord, 8rack and elves bad matches for us? is there any way to improve them or make them favourable?
I feel storm should be fine for us, am i correct?

I'm running 3 Fulminators but I really don't think I want them. I'd rather just race big mana so this frees up a few slots.
Speaking of racing - TBR has been huge so far, I can't imagine not running one in the main anymore.
