Hi guys, I wondered if anyone had tried The Scorpion God lately. And how dis it sent ? I have a pptq this saturday, and I don't have an Hazoret ans don't think I'm going to fond one un time. So I'm seeking for replacement against Eldratron ans GDS.
Best regards !
I think nobody considered testing this card yet, don't think its helping all that much against Eldratron and GDS.

Well I didn't had high hopes. ^^
So, Hazoret apart, do you know a maindeck-able good card against those match-ups ?
Thanks for your reply by the way !
maybe ask to borrow Hazoret? she is insanely good against E-Tron and GDS.
Hey didn't know you check in on this thread! Was a treat seeing you do that make-or-die play with Bob, choosing to terminate the Sculler instead of Flickerwisp. What was the thought process behind that decision?
Would love a deck tech - how instrumental has Hazoret been for you?
I've been struggling with Jund, most likely because of inexperience in the Modern format; I keep losing to very closely fought games but I'm not entirely sure what I am doing wrong.
Though a lot of people around my area are saying Jund is now no longer viable and that I should pivot to Abzan or Grixis DS.
Do you think this new PW rule will bring Jund back to its former glory?
Quite frustrating when SCG focuses so much on their "people", and not on the decks. Jund hasn't had any real good results in a long time, and with one on the top of the standings, they aren't showing it. Instead we get multiple Tom Ross wins when his opponents get variance issues.
That was frustrating for sure, Jund has been a bad deck and it finally has an awesome showing---and they don't show it, especially with the player undefeated.
We got a ton of Ross matchups and a bunch of Caleb Storm games which Twitch absolutely did not like seeing, who the hell wants to see games like Storm v Ad Naus and Storm v Living End? No one, outside of those who play the deck
I've been thinking about Jund all week and it's status in the meta, could be time for it to be good again.

I think even viewers who play those decks have to be bored with watching those matches as opposed to playing them. The only reason to watch two ships passing in the night is that you're hoping for a shipwreck.
I think Jund is just really questionable right now. The most consistent version of Jund I've been playing online has actually been Flayer Jund with 23 lands. I like the deck, but the exposure to graveyard hate is insanely heightened. Traditional Jund just feels like a crap shoot.

Sadly enough I think you are right. I personally don't like Grim Flayer lists at all, but speaking of traditional jund, it always feels you have earn your wins hard and sometimes that involves your opponent just don't have what they usually have to kill you (e.g. Scapeshift).
I hope that with the new PW rule we can make something special out of it. Maybe this could help. But other than that, it remainds hard playing Jund.
Really sad how Jund is becoming less viable, I'm not a fan of Abzan because I love Dark Confidants so much nad most lists do not run them.
The only other deck that is like Jund other than Abzan seems to be Grixis DS, I may be looking into this but I'll secretly be hoping for a BBE unban to bring Jund back to its former glory
Especially since I was the first one to say this deck was on its death bed
However, I believe you guys have it backwards, I think the meta is slowly going to get better for jund, if tournaments, mtgo and my experience at paper events are indicators.
It just seems that Grixis DS plays like us expect they have better chances to hit their finishers in top deck mode, hit harder and ofcourse they have Snappy

Anyway, best of luck
6-3 after day 1. Said he is playing 4 basics and more fetches to support the Blood Moons.
Gogo Tyler!

Tyler's decklist is pretty normal: http://sales.starcitygames.com//deckdatabase/displaydeck.php?DeckID=116053

Really glad to see Rabblemaster get top 32. I've been pulling for this card for a while now and this only makes me like it even more.
