I've tried everything, I just keep loosing vs bant eldrazi, eldrazi creatures are too strong, fast mana is too strong, counterspell are too strong, i just can't.
This deck is so broken.
How can I beat this? Or should i buy it for all the easy wins?
I see this deck more and more online, some of them popped at my LGS, and I'm keep loosing vs them.
I have Kiki chord (all version) BW tokens, Mardu token, RG tron, Strom, naya burn, all theese decks gets destroyed no mater what.
Sometimes with burn, I can snatch a win, but that's all.
Hello everybody. I just recently bought into Bant Eldrazi recently and wish to know one thing. What match-up feel the most even? I ask because I wish to teach someone Magic while play testing the deck without giving them an extreme advantage or disadvantage.
So nothing can beat eldrazi? top tier deck, no weaknesses, well, cya in the next ban list then...I hope...
Stop thinking this deck is broken, it is not. RG valakut deck beat us, merfolk do it, affinity is not a great MU, the deck has many weaknesses, and it will not take the ban hammer
hey guys i need help against control decks especially U/W Control W/U Control and a bit easier against Grixis Control Jeskai Control WUB WUR
i tried almost everything and still its a very hard or normally a lost or tie match
i know that these decks are low tier decks and even weird to see them but i change my LGS and its plagued with these decks
i have no problem against agro decks or combo decks
can someone help me how to play or in what order or maybe look for an specific hand or maybe a change in the main or the sideboard thanks
PS: sorry for any mistake english is not my mother tongue
UW Control is built to beat Eldrazi - that's just a fact. UW control isn't great in the meta as a whole - so you shouldn't face this deck in a competitive tournament environment (at least only rarely).
Decks like UWR control and Grixis Delver are generally a lot easier as they lack Cryptic Command and 4 cmc sweepers (or have very few copies in the 75). I sideboard chalice in against UWR control and also UW control as you can cut off many of their spot removal spells, most importantly Path to Exile (and other random things - eg. serum visions). Also sideboard in any grave yard hate you have - snapcaster and path to exile (or god forbid supreme verdict) can easily ruin your day. I play two copies of Ghost Quarter - that might help you if you have problems with manlands..

Eldrazi has many strong sideboard options open to it and thus it can pick and choose who to lose to. Generally Eldrazi will have tough matchups against ramp decks like RG Valakut (breach seems easier to beat then the other variants), RG Tron (you have to get lucky and hope your sideboard and TKS can get you there), RG Ponza (this seems always like auto lose - I once won by using EE to continually blow up there mana accelerants).
Recently I've been testing 3 GQ and 3 Surgical extraction's from the sb - with the view that I'll have a better strategy against Valakut, Tron and Dredge. I've really liked extracting tron lands and valakut - the mana base is somewhat compromised though (with three GQ's) - so it's not for the feint of heart..
I think the deck is very weak to Collected Company and Chord of Calling decks - I don't run any Cage (I play surgicals, RIP instead) - however this deck appears fairly uncommon atm.
Anyway the decks that completely wreck my build of Eldrazi are:
Elves
Abzan CoCo Combo
Bant Coralhelm CoCo Combo
RG Ponza
UW Control (3-4 x Cryptics; 4x Verdict/Wrath; Finks/walls; runed halo; Gideon, Big Elspeth etc)
Decks that are somewhat favoured against my build are:
Blood Moon decks (we have many outs to blood moon - this can go either way - but Eldrazi is generally unfavoured)
Merfolk
RG Valakut, BTL shift, RG Tron (although with 3 GQ and 3 surgical it seems like its getting close to even)
Affinity (sb dependent, seems close to 50%)
Lantern
Hatebears
Favourable matchups:
Burn
Infect
Dredge
Sui Zoo
Whacker Zoo
Sui Bloo
BGx
Ux (no or low numbers of Verdicts, Cryptic)
Grixis Delver (depends though on how many Young Pyromancers and Blood Moons they play)
Bogles
I play 2 duskwatch recruiter maindeck and move spellskite to sideboard
My experience on this setup is quite good since i won 2 modern event at my LGS and 1 third place...
The reson for this setup is because bant eldrazi tends to get flooded out towards endgame(i always got flooded out when using it), so why not use that mana to fetch some creature that might be useful
Since thinking of it when I posted above a few hours ago I have jammed 5 rounds on xmage with the following build, went 5-0. Matchups were Bring to light scapeshift, Jund, Ub Mill, Blue Tron, Mono black Oblitorator.
It is xmage and the are some fringe decks listed above but all times I drew Panharmonicon it seemed pretty busted, and I was effectively always glad to draw it. The fact that you can gain infinite colorless mana and on board power through the displacer/Panharmonicon/drowner combo means you can dump your hand of colorless spells as early as turn 5, and if you can get a thought-knot seer on board you can straight up set an instant win at your opponents draw step by blinking your TKS infinite times and milling your opponent. This inevitability in the 'late' game proved excellent. I know 4 copies of Panharmonicon could be seen as a bit excessive but like I said I was never unhappy to draw it, even multiple copies stack and can be great if you don't have all the combo pieces and just play etb deldrazi for super sized value. Also, 1 or 2 can always be boarded out if needed.
I built this deck about a 2 months ago, then due to work had to take a break from MTG for a bit. I'm wondering whether there's a good source right now for an accepted build in a neutral meta. Any thoughts?
I don't really think Panharmonicon is efficient enough for the deck. It's a 4 mana do-nothing on the turn it comes down. Training grounds does something quite similar and it doesn't see play.
So been doing some MTGO testing with Panharmonicon and it's quite awkward for lack of a better word. It doesn't fit our curve since we ideally are casting most of the cards that it would be good with before turn 4. Maybe building a GW bounce deck with it could be a thing running displacer and things like thragtusk, witness, slime, resto etc... but it doesn't fit in a bant eldrazi shell. Sure it's fun to get 2 for 1's with TKS and such but really it's a win more card.

worth testing but I think the you'd have to change your mana base. 1 blue on T1 isn't our strong suit.
I agree, and I think it requires 4 Yavimaya coast.
From what I can tell it is definitely a very strong consideration in the deck. Flipping our own matter reshapers to dig or ramp, making our mana dorks threats, putting 5 power on the board on Turn 2 (hierarch + temple + skyspawner) all are sweet plays.
How about take these flex spots and test Tireless Tracker as a tech to grind games. The problem i see in many matchs is a land flood on crucial turns and this guy helps this.

example http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/26-10-16-dMS-uw-midrange/
they have 4 Cryptic Command and 4 Supreme Verdict so they kill everything and then start to tap my creatures and kill them again and tap them again, after that they have Gideon Jura and Dragonlord Ojutai plus Restoration Angel plus Kitchen Finks so the only way i can try to win is in the long run and sometimes works other times the Celestial Colonnade kill me
my deck is a tipical bant eldrazi nothing weird just works against everything just not against blue white control
