Yeah, i think Ghost Quarter is better as utility land.
The problem with Edge is that it falls more in the land control spectrum whereas Quarter serves more as a take out a problem way. I fear Inkmoth Nexus above all, secondly random manlands from the control players(ravine And colonade) And also Tron lands.
I really dont know if GQ is worth it above a colored Maná source since the deck is so Maná taxed. Its 4 color in any case!

One of the decks that went through to a SCG top 8, had 61 cards. I think it might be fine. I've been running 23 lands so far, never had a problem w mana. So i could just add 1 GQ and play it as 61 cards.
I think it's needed, it helped me on a lot of games (destroy a colorsource of opponent, manland, nexus, tron piece...)
I will never remove it from my 24 lands, it's too powerful ^^
Hey guys. In a meta where there's a lot of Burn. How would you build your MB and SB. Do you play more than 8 non creature spells?, Which creatures seems best?
Is blessed alliance enough in the sb?.
I haven't scoured the whole thread, but has anyone tried Mulldrifter in the deck? I run a 1-of alongside 1 Skyspawner, and it really helps climb back out of a hole when you're behind. Being able to evoke and flicker with Displacer for 6 (usually 5 with temple out) and draw 4 cards feels really powerful.
I also play a 1-of of Tamiyo and she is also really great so far. She slows down aggressive decks and helps you dig to answers, and her ultimate is surprisingly doable and quite backbreaking.
I love using it in a lot of aggro and burn match ups. I would suggest running 2 in the board for sure. All the modes are relevant. I think the untap up to two target creatures is my least used mode.
Here is my current list that I will be running this Thursday. I like to play with spice and what not.
A couple of cards I would like to add from the new set would be Dovin Baan, Verdurous Gearhulk, and Rashmi, Eternities Crafter but to be honest I don't think Rashmi will even make it that far or I won't even bother with it. Dovin seems strong in the mirror by shutting down their Displacer or Drowner. A little life gain and draw isn't that bad either. Seems worth testing.
Also I think maybe 1 Mulldrifter could be fun to play around with. I might have to try it online for a bit.
Can I cast Crib Swap by using Eldrazi Temple to pay for its 2 generic mana? And what is your opinion on the spell? Im trying to find another 1-of removal spell that is not dismember.
Seems like there are just better options against decks we would side board dromokas command like chalice in the void against naya burn for example.
As for mainboard its pretty tight as it is with path to exile x4 and ancient stirrings x4 along with the numerous creatures we do have to play in the
deck itself. If you would like to put extra stuff in engineered explosives is my personal choice in the current meta with all the aggro going around
and how it can be searched off ancient stirrings, however I'll give it a shot at my local fnm when we have modern sometime and see how well it
does if I play against any burn.
I was thinking it might be a good hedge against blood moon. Also an unorthodox removal and protection against burn.
How important is Engineered Explosives? I am buying into the deck and I'm at the limit of my budget with everything but EE. I could get them instead of Caverns but Caverns seem really important since my meta has a bunch of Jeskai Control. Would ratchet bomb be a good budget replacement or is it too slow?

Nobody plays this deck, so we don't care
I lost to the deck in the finals of a PPTQ Sunday so I definitely care.
Sounds good..
