With a turn 1 Noble Hierarch and a turn 2 Temple you have a turn 2 TKS anyway. If we consider putting something in over another card, I recently heard on this weeks Eh Team that Doug Potter won the Face-to-Face Edmonton Open and he suggested putting in Boreal Druid in place of BoP to help aid the C when facing a Blood Moon. Now I do understand that Blood Moon decks are red and will probably have some form of removal, but it's still worth testing!

I don't know what this was in regards to but I would say the reason I am looking at like a 2x Eldritch Evolution in the list is because I want to increase my chance to get T3 TKS/Smasher depending on the matchup. The added bonus is that lategame it turn dorks who were bad topdecks into any of our 3 cmc creatures.
Ah.. yeah I agree with you. The reason I came to Bant Eldrazi from Eldrazi & Taxes was the exalted triggers of Hierarch. They are often overlooked and sometimes do a LOT of work (powering TKS through Goyf or Tasigur is pretty huge.
What is the order of resolving matter reshaper, elder, and sanctum
I'm not 100% on this but since they are all your triggers, you order them how you want, once you receive priority.. #JUDGE!
Probably what I would do is put the Reshaper trigger on first (to resolve last) then the Sanctum so that you have "more targets" to hit with the reshaper trigger.
Cast the card, sacrifice matter reshaper for paying of the cost. Its trigger goes on the stack. Then deep fiend cast goes on the stack. Then sanctum of Ugin trigger happens. Sanctum trigger on top, and I dont know if you can choose the order of the deep fiend cast and reshaper or not. (Or if it would matter)
That's how I thought it happened, is that you would resolve sanctum, then fiend, then reshaper,
But my friend thought reshaper would resolve first, I disagreed so this is the question. Lol
I've thought about it, but don't think Tamiyo will be good in this deck:
* She can be tough to play with her color restriction.
* She does nothing on an empty board (she would be much better if her minus ability could hit lands at the least)
* In the matchups where we want her (grindy matchups) we already are favored in general.
* She doesn't help any of our bad matchups.
Lose in semi finals today on a gp trial vs bogle. The mu seems horrible. I play 2 skite md and board in 3 explosives, 1 fracturing gust, 2 denial, 1 negate, 1 worldbreaker and lose 1-2
The 1st place list is very stock - no real surprises here. The 6th place list is running 2x Snapcaster while increasing snap targets to 10x MD and running a higher then normal amount of instant/sorceries SB - something to think about for us for sure..
Hey guys I did a bit of testing with EDF and Eldritch Evolution this weekend. Both had moments in which they shined but EDF definitely earned another showing. One example is game 1 against Jeskai Nahiri I play a T2 Matter Reshaper. He doesn't want to bolt it because why concede that extra value. I play a Cavern of Souls (name Eldrazi) and pass the turn. During his upkeep it's Uncounterable Mistbind Clique Mode for EDF. I hit a Heirarch and tap all his lands. I untap and drop Reality Smasher to crash in for 10 (putting him to 4). He doesn't have the verdict and scoops (I had another Smasher in hand because... magic). Game 2 I found 3 Eldrazi Temples and used back to back EDF to just keep him tapped down and cast him for his full 8. I also got to feel bad stubborn denial a Path on Reality Smasher so that felt good.
Eldritch Evolution I am less sold on but it still did a lot of work. I won another game where I had an opening 7 of 4 lands heirarch and 2 Eldritch Evolutions. Turn 2 I sac the dork and get Matter Reshaper, Turn 3 I sac Matter Reshaper and get reality Smasher. My opponent couldn't answer that and the threats I drew into and it was gg. Still there were times where it felt unnecessary in hand (i.e. overkill) and it really doesn't play well on an empty board.
Going forward I think I am going to keep the 2 EDF in the main instead of the other utility cards I had (Elspeth and World Breaker) and I'll keep testing Evolution to see if it's worth sacrificing 2 top end creatures for more consistent turn 3 bombs (which I think has merit). I do want to try Tomb of the Spirit Dragon in the list for the off chance I get to trigger off Deep Fiend but currently Westvale Abbey actually puts in a suprising amount of work for just making my opponents sweat my creature count (especially Tokens and Reshapers). It has also been an amazing mana sink when you are straight racing without Displacer and want to churn out a chump blocker for 1 life each turn. It's a lifesaver against creatures without evasion.
Here is his list, before the Boreal Druid inclusion:

Considering they aren't legal in Modern yet... no.
One thing that's cone up
Sac matter reshaper to cast elder,
Also sac sanctum of ugin to grab another colorless

EDH: Rakdos, Lord of Riots
I've also seen some Eldrazi decks utilize the combo of Endbringer + Basilisk Collar, can it be good in this deck ?
