Just did a small calculation, I've played a total of 79 official matches since 01-06-2016 with a record of 51-21-2-5 (win, loss, draw, id). This translates in 64,6% wins.
Very nice ratio! Have you tested ultra aggro MU intensively? Neofit said he remove lifegain spells of his sb, do you think we can beat burn/zoo without?
What do ppl think about running 2x Spreading Seas SB with a GQ MD to combat tron (and valakut decks)? Combined with stony silence it gives decent game against Tron..
hey guys, I just bought into the deck in paper and MODO. I'm planning on playing it next month at a GP. Still missing a few SB cards but I look forward to playing. Played some games on MODO and it's doing pretty well.

How expensive is it online?
You can get an approx price from MTGgoldfish. http://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/442411#online There's several decks that slightly vary a couple of lands or tarmogoyfs or whatever. Hovers around $500. I know it's a lot for virtual cards, but you can sell out at like a 10% loss through services like MTGOtraders.
Big expenses are mostly Cavern ($40ea), Hierarchs ($20 each - not too bad), Spellskite ($18, not bad). The sideboard cards are pretty bad- Grafdigger's Cage is like $20 each and Explosives are like $35.
I don't have time for a lot of MTG these days, but I've been playing a few games in the queues lately once a week or so, and I've been playing this deck. I like it a lot. It has a lot of interaction and is a good fit for my playstyle.
One thing, has anyone played against the Nahiri deck that runs Boom // Bust and 4 copies of Blood Moon main deck? Its basically miserable in my opinion. I misplayed to lose the first game, not attacking with both my Spellskite and other critter to be able to redirect Nahiri's -2 that I knew was coming. I did this twice in a row (like a fool... I was tired). The second game ended with T2 Blood Moon into a T4 Goblin Dark Dwellers recurring Lightning Helix to take care of my threats.

Yeah, I sold out of that deck a few days ago. You could SB celestial purge/nature's claim/natural state/engineered explosives to deal with Moon, and I'm assuming Ensnaring Bridge. For Nahiri, could always do Needle or Purge from SB. My guess is that the Eldrazi deck should just be as aggressive as possible since that puts the pressure on the controlling-deck. Relic/ROP can be annoying too against Goblin DD and ROP also hoses Flagstones. Maybe it's time to start experimenting with Beast Within SB?
Seems pretty bad to me, although you can use Eldrazi Scions to cast it too. Still not good at all.
What do you guys think about (old) Thalia in the MB? One deck I cannot seem to beat is Valakut Titan, and I am looking for a potential mainboard inclusion to help me in this matchup.

Those are just going to be bad matchups. I don't think there is enough you can do that wouldn't make those matchups suck. Just gotta lean on Stubborn Denial and race. I can beat a Blood Moon but if you pair it with LD on my basics and removal the game is likely just a matter of time until you kill me. They are fringe decks so I am not too worried honestly.
Sacrifice a matter reshaper and pay 2UU seems like a good deal. Tap down their lands at instant speed like a Mistbind Clique to time walk them or tap down dudes to clear blockers/attackers out of the way

I will certainly test it
majors has an early list on scg. I definitely like trying out this new toy. seems like a fun card whether or not it's successful or not
Yeah I preordered 4x Deep Fiends. I think the deck could fit in more "haymakers", but it does make the deck lean more blue.
I've been having bad luck on MODO. With 24 lands it seems like I flood a lot. Other times it seems like Smasher or TKS come down too slow even with dorks. Advice?
Without E.Temple it doesn't do anything.
Replacing Noble Hierarch makes no sense as it also provides colored mana and exalted in addition to the ramp.
You can try it instead of Birds of Paradise but it seems like a weaker Voyaging Satyr (or Kiora's Follower) to me.
Is Voice of Resurgence too much of a stretch to play in this deck ?
Can the manabase support it ?
I tried out Thalia, Guardian of Thraben over the Spellskites last night at my LGS TNM. There were two matches where she made a difference. vs Soul Sisters where the First Strike did a bunch to help me, and vs Zoo slowing down removal. vs Zoo it would have been fine having the Spellskite over her. Thalia also made a difference vs Jund slowing down removal and First Strike holding Finks, but was not that big. There was also one Ancient Stirrings which missed where I saw 2 Thalias in. Overall, I think Spellskite fits the 2 slot better and can protect our Displacers better.
For Elder Deep Fiend, I think 1 is preferrable and maybe even just in the SB vs the mirror to breakout lethal. Everywhere else, I feel like Drowner and Displacer is enough.
Guys, we are talking about Elder Deep Fiend, but what about Tamiyo, Field Researcher? She can help vs aggro decks, generate profit with cards and she's castable on T3 for us.
If her -2 could hit lands I think it may be worth it. As it stands I don't think she is good enough unfortunately.
Round 1 UG Infect (2-0)[1-0]: I have a LOT of reps against this matchup now and unfortunately for my opponent, he had none. I had some good quick hands which ripped apart his with TKS. Game 2 I managed to pull the dumb sauce and played T4 Drowner which let me fight through 2 Vines to tap him down during his upkeep and I killed him on the crackback. We played 4 more games after this where I informed him on nuances of the matchup (because I like to make every player better) I proceeded to win all 4 games but he got some good experience out of it (minor things like him not using his only Dismember to kill TKS when it comes in and he has no board state.)
Round 2 BTL Scapeshift (2-0)[2-0]: This is the same guy I played at the 1k if you look several pages back. Same story as the first time we played. I stuck a TKS and ripped apart his hand of relevant things. He is playing a version that is more adept at sweeping fast decks (i.e. running Anger over Verdict) so I punished him pretty hard for that both games.
Round 3 Grixis Control (2-1)[3-0]: Game 1 I drew pretty nutty. Drawing TKS right after he Thoughtseized a meh overall hand. Drawing a path right after the followup Tasigur. Game 2 was super interesting though with a card I never thought about against us Izzet Staticaster. This let him kill my Scions/Skyspawners easily. It let him bolt my TKS (most important) and while we both ground each other out of threats (he had like 10 cards in his deck when he killed me) and I was being flooded. I did have Westvale Abbey which is usually a trump against flood against control decks. Staticaster ofcourse hoses that plan too. Interesting choice to bring it in and I can't say that I disagree with it either. Game 3 he drew too few answers and I punished him quickly for it. Turn 3 TKS, T4 Smasher, T5 Elsepeth and give the Smasher hops for the win.
Round 4 BG Infect (2-1)[4-0]: This is my buddy so we technically ID'd but we know this matchup pretty well and it's fairly 50:50. They are much more resilient than their UG counterparts and while they can have nut draws, you can't just swing out and race them either (due to a ton of removal and discard in their main). I came out with the better draws in the 3 games we played but all in all this matchup can be awkward sometimes (displacer is still a baller).

Here's the deck I'm talking about: http://www.gatheringmagic.com/carlos-gutierrez-06242016-scorched-earth/
Anyone played this one? Any advice?

It works with Matter Reshaper and Ancient Stirrings as well.
