I don't think it's terrible honestly I think a 1 of it might be alright (for those late games like World Breaker except it acts as a way to tap down their board. It's not a terrible option to keep in mind. It has a much better chance of being broken than the first Emerge we saw but we do have to keep our eye on all emerge cards as they so far have all been blue and we have SO much cost reduction it gets crazy.
"When talking about spoiled cards as a generality, please keep it in the designated "spoiler thread" in Modern General. SCDs for spoiled cards are NOT allowed until the whole set is released. Feel free to discuss the cards in threads for decks."
The last sentence is confusing. Not supposed to backseat moderate anyways. I'll just let a mod clear it up.
With so many good targets in this deck what do you think about playing Phyrexian Metamorph ?
It can also combo nicely with Eldrazi Displacer to copy new targets.

Yeah I actually have no idea if we are allowed to speak about it or not, but in the past there has always been talk about new spoiled cards in the respective deck threads for it.
I hope they will reword that sentence to be less confusing because in the first sentence they say
please keep it in the designated "spoiler thread"
and then in the last
Feel free to discuss the cards in threads for decks
???
A mod cleared it up for me - you are correct, spoiled cards may be discussed in their individual deck's threads such as this one. The wording is still confusing. What they don't want is separate threads for each individual card spoiled before the entire set is revealed - instead when speaking about the cards in general, they should go in the Modern General spoiler thread. If the card has applications in specific decks, then we can do what we are doing now and discuss it here.
My bad - continue discussing whatever cards you want
The first thing that comes to my mind when trying to fit Evolution here is that it makes the deck very soft to counters, espcially Remand.
That´s why we play 4 Cavern of Souls.
Also, our deck is too much redundant to play a card that tutors another creature. I mean, jumping from Reshaper to Smasher or TKS is not bad, the thing is that i feel like we are doing our opponents a favor by using Evolution so narrowly.
Until someone tests with it and proves the card is worth it i wont lay it myself in Bant Eldrazi.
Agreed on the new Tamiyo not being good for us - getting all those colors consistently by T4 is very difficult with this deck. You can make it more reliable by cutting the Ghost Quarter and trimming on Caverns to bring in more painlands, fetches, and/or shocks (that's quite the trade off). I don't think it's worth it at that point. Then there's also the important question of - what is the cut for her to be in the deck? Additionally, what matchups would she improve and how do we already fare in those matchups? This deck struggles the most vs decks that go under us and uninteractive combo decks. Tamiyo will be too slow against all of those. She would only help improve some of our grindier matchups, where we already are favored in the first place.
Due to the color requirements and not improving our worst matchups, I don't see her fitting in the deck.

The cards PL is pretty high though..
Well that's true but you can always sideboard it out in the remand matchup. Obviously it's all up for debate but the way I see it g1 it's more of a way to have TKS number 5-8 and smasher 5-8. I would also swap out my 2nd spellskite for a thragtusk to give some maindeck lifegain. If you're talking about improving poor matchups being able to run '5' copies of for example baneslayer angel against burn, melira against infect, kataki against affinity, Eidolon of Rhetoric against combo that's gotta be worth thinking about.
Of course adding 4 coloured spells to the deck makes stirrings worse, it would be down to testing if the hits are worse enough that it negates the benefits of your tutor targets. I'm not so worried about counters. Their use is at an all time low in modern now. Remand is only played in 11% of decks, cryptic command in 8%. Dispel and spell snare don't matter and pierce and leak can be played around though they're only 8% and 7% respectively too. I would be happy for my Ux opponent to keep in their 6-10 counters and have them sit staring at a cavern all game.
so is our deck the reason Nimbus Maze has become so expensive recently? I mean, it's an okay card but Adarkar Wastes seems better if we want to run a U/W tri-land
I've played with 6 mana dorks, 5 mana dorks, and 4 mana dorks. 6 mana dorks felt like a little too many. 4 mana dorks made me feel like I was having slower starts slightly more often. 5 feels just right. Birds also has the minor advantage of being able to pay the mana cost of some sideboard cards we play like Gutshot and Dismember. Birds also can fly, which is relevant in some games for blocking or Exalted trigger attacking.
In the end, we want to maximize the amount of games where we can land a T2 TKS into T3 Smasher as some decks just cannot beat it. This usually starts with Dork + Temple. Even Dork into another Dork is fine as it allows T3 Smasher still.
If running evolution,
My thoughts are reshaper into smasher is awesome,
What about a smasher into elesh norn?
Just as a single copy in the deck?
I don't like the idea of adding Elesh Norn. You'll have too many games with Elesh Norn stuck in hand until you draw Evolution (or 7 mana with double white). I also don't like Evolution that much in this deck in the first place - having to sacrifice any of our creatures as a cost to play it is a big risk in the first place against any blue deck. Targetting anything other than Matter Reshaper is extremely risky especially.

What do you think about this idea ?
depends on your individual meta. My local meta I see virtually none which is why I moved it to the SB.
If you're rocking this deck online where infect and suicide zoo are in the top 3 played decks 2 spellskites are huge in the main

t1 mana dork, t2 reshaper, t3 evolution sack reshaper to fetch up seer/smasher and postboard thragtusk or some other bullet that's 5 or less.
I'm pretty excited to test it out if the slots can be made available.
dammmmm.. lol. thx for the heads up.
I think the 3 drop 3/3 eldrazi guy that you can cast from exile is another good way for us to deal with top deck mode.
