After GP Vegas, I have removed 1 Blessed Alliance in the sideboard and replaced it with 1 Worship.
The match ups were as follows:
Game 1: Storm - win
Game 2: Grixus Shadow-lost (should have won, but made a costly mistake.)
Game 3: Thopter Sword - win
Game 4: Ad Nauseum - win
Game 5: Burn- win
Game 6: -Abzan (with Grim Flayer)-win
Game 7:- Eldrazi Tron - win
Game 8: -Burn -lose
Game 9: - Bant Spirits - lose
Ended up not playing in day two, even though I qualified with a record of 6-3 (after game 7, my record looked pretty darn good being at 6 wins, 1 loss. And that one loss being my own fault. For those interested in the mistake ....
The costly mistake I made in round 2 against Grixus Death Shadow was--- I had Displacer, Thought-knot Seer, and a Rest In Peace on board, 7 mana open. He was at 6 life, with a tapped Death Shadow and tapped Tasaguir on his board. I played Smasher, swung team. (Displacer, Thought-Knot, and Reality Smasher) He flashed in not 1, but 2 Snapcasters and blocked Thought-Knot and Displacer, took 5 damage, went to 1. Killed me on crack back.
I should have played another Thought-Knot from my hand, and I would have known about the Snapcaster'S (yes plural) before attacking. Also, I would of also had enough mana for a back up blink with Displacer.
Things I am happy with in my deck
No Bird of Paradise.
I know it's popular to have the 5th mana dork from a probability stand point. My reasoning for no bird is that in my countless games of playing this exact list, I would always keep note to myself on how many times I had a relic of progenitus in my opening hand and no dork. My thought process... how many times do I wish this relic of progenitus was a birds of paradise. And I am not under exaggerating, I can recall one time where I wish it was a birds. Once. Out of a ton of games. Also Birds of Paradise is a terrible top deck.
Playing skyspawner over matter reshaper
Skyspawner offers a few things that I feel are more significant than the replacement effect of matter reshaper.
Skyspawner is evasive, and can block evasive creatures. It puts two body's on the board, the scion it brings along with him offers pretty consistent ramp, and hedges against blood moon.
3 Drowner of Hopes instead of 4
Yes, only 3. I don't really want one of these in my opening hand, as they cost so much mana, even with eldrazi temples.
3 Engineered Explosives
This card has proven to be very good.
It pulls its weight and more. It makes bad match ups for us less bad. Elves and merfolk come to mind. Often times you can 2 for 1 your opponent with it. Mainboard answer to artifact or enchantments. Can kill an infinite amount of tokens ( lingering souls, empty the warrens) just a solid card for the deck that patches potiential weaknesses.
Talisman of progress and 1 island.
2 mana to play a ramp spell and hedges against Blood Moon which can just shut our deck down. Especially if your playing the 2 Forest plan. How do you even play through Blood Moon with 2 Forests? You can't cast skyspawner or drowners, absolutely no way to make colorless mana. I definitely recommend 1 island. Even if you can't fetch for it. And if you want that option, play 2 misty rainforest.
I wanted to share my list as I have found it to bring me much success, and just hope to pass the success onward.
Here is my take on Bant Eldrazi I am new to the deck I know my landbase is quite different from other lists but I really like it, I haven't had any issues with it at all after about 50 goldfishes and that seems good for a 4 color deck. The batterskull and birds used to be 2 matter reshapers and I think they could be again but I like testing out the batterskull main with the bit of extra ramp. The deck seems really powerful and I will play it at FNM and report back after tonight. I would appreciate any tips or thoughts some more experienced players with the archtype have.
Even against control I don't think failure//comply is that good. Sure, it buys some time, but I'd rather be playing resilient threats like batterskull or rhonas to keep the beatdown going. Or even play cards like Ewit which let us get fight the card advantage war. If there's any hard evidence of it being good i.e. testing results, let me know.
I'm wondering about 3 vs 4 drowners currently. The card is just so good against shadow and eldrazi tron. I wonder if it's worth keeping one in the sideboard and 3 mainboard.
In other news, ratchet bomb has been continually overperforming. My LGS has had a resurgence of a lot of BW tokens and Smallpox as a response to shadow. It's also reasonable against death's shadow as it pretty much always trades 1 for 1 (or 1/2 of kolaghan's). It's also nice to be able to consistently answer Empty the warrens. I cannot recommend ratchet bomb enough (for a total of 5 EE effects). Against Eldrazi Tron I also side it it in since it removes problematic artifacts namely basilisk collar and chalice (and also walking ballista), vs EE which will usually sit in hand (for fear of being put on the wrong number) and is thus vulnerable to TKS. And of course, the main reason it's even in the SB is affinity, merfolk, and elves, where you want as many board wipes as you can get.
Small FNM report for you all I am new Bant Eldrazi but am very happy with the decks power level.
I ended up going 4 Wins 1 Loss for 2nd place on breakers.
Round 1: A fellow on a brew it had big infect creatures but was more midrange with some evasion. I won in 2 games.
Round 2: A friend on G/W good stuff its Todd Stevens exact list. I thought this would be a tougher match up and he actually had crucible game 1 but I just exploded both games for solid wins. Catching coco with thought knot helped a lot. Won in 2 games.
Round 3: A friend on soul sisters I lost game 1 even with an engineered explosives out he went big fast with 2 honor of the pure and I couldn't keep up. He had a timely path right after I played drowner to crush any hope that game. Game 2 I drew 3 creatures out of about 18 cards and I just couldn't get anything going. Lost 2 games.
Round 4: A fellow on Gx Tron. I won in 2 games thought knot/displacer lock sealed game 2, game 1 I was just fast and he saw no o stone.
Round 5: A friend on Esper control/planeswalkers. Game 1 he got mana screwed and I was fast with a turn 4 drowner. Game 2 was a good grind fest where I ground through 2 supreme verdicts for the win. I had batterskull out when first supreme verdict hit and it won me the game later on.
Had my first 0-2 loss against burn with me being on the play both games. I had a turn 4 kill in my hand (Rhonas smasher) but he had a helix which got him to a safe life total, and didn't curve out well the other game (had 3 turns to draw into a tks or smasher).
I'm wondering about a singleton Lone Missionary. It's almost strictly better than blessed alliance against burn. It also has some use in any racing scenario where we need to be on the board quickly such as Merfolk and serves a similar function as thragtusk as giving us infinite life in a board stall.
I think there's still some other matchups where lifegain and an early body is relevant. Obviously I'd rather have stronger cards like EE, but an early blocker and life gain provides us some tempo that allow us to more aggressively attack into merfolk or elves. Plus it prevents vapor snag as an out against worship. I'll do more testing. I think Arashin Cleric would actually be better because it can block swiftspear better and is a human (cavern naming human saves a few life points).

Here the meta is very aggressive, with several burns and even monoR goblins, so I replaced 2 drowners for 2 thragtusk maindeck, which is a good finisher + displacer too. Another more desperate option would be 1 worship maindeck.
I won 2 matches against Lantern yesterday from Displacer + Drowner to make tons of tokens. Then flickering TKS to make them draw a land and attack for lethal through brigde. I would be more incliced to split Smasher/Drowner. Thoughts?
Been doing that against my resident Lantern player at my LGS many times. Their only out is Pithing Needle the Displacer.
Have you considered taking out 2 lands against UW Control (going down to 22 lands seems okay when they play so many paths and GQ)?
Haven't lost to a UW Control in maybe my last 6 matches (i think) against it. Never thought of removing 2 lands against them tho, maybe i should try it out.
well, pptq this sat, sorry I tend "poof" when sets come out, but I will be playing modern tomorrow night in preparation for the pptq. When does Trinsphere come in? As a Native Spanish speaker I read through that article you posted Mr Ry037, it seems like that card never came in.

Nice to read that you are having success Janusfcb, I have been having some rough draws lately (constant mulls, I do think it's just variance hitting me). I played last night and went 2-2 locally. Both losses came to burn, and there was very little I could do, 1st burn player managed to steal G1 off me with triple Lava Spike; With the mana to cast it ( I had him dead next turn, from 9 life to 0). Second burn player drew all 4 Helix's and get himself out of lethal range (I saw all my Sb cards along with Stubborn's). That's burn sometimes, both were 1-2 losses. Played tonight and got creamed by U/W control featuring Ojutai, in g2 I had 13 lands in play and drew all my fetches.
SO, it's been rough this week. Not feeling as confident with Bant going into the PPTQ. I don't want to pivot to burn, but I need to shore tweak my SB, I know that there will be affinity, U/W Control, Ad Naus, and more than a few copies of DS. Burn will be there, I'm at a crossroads, tonight and last night were some of the worst draws I've had.
I still want to run bant, but this week's been rough.

This is the deck I've been using for a while, my side is still in flux a bit (Cataclysmic was an idea with a couple token decks in my meta). But i usually go at least 3-1 with it.
The big change that I've done is I run 2 Eldritch Evolution mainboard, which gives me more avenues to get out either something like a t3 smasher, or any of my sideboard bomb creatures. I've almost never had a matchup where I would prefer not to see this card (depending on the build, UW or Esper control are the only ones I don't find it to be a good thing in). I'm still slightly budget oriented because of birds over heirarchs, but I haven't really found that to limit me too much. I also was playtesting the green gearhulk, Verdurous Gearhulk, and having that land to pump up my bird to a 4/5 beater was always a good time.
Undefeated in swiss and lost to death's shadow in the semifinals. It's a little weird because I feel like we should be really favored but my tournament record against them isn't actually that great. Wondering about a singleton chamelon colossus...
I did beat burn on the draw with him going turn 1 guide turn 2 blaze which I thought would be impossible. It was pretty lucky on my part but flashfreeze and blessed alliance bought me enough time to land a worship.
Currently trying out cutting an EE for gavony township. 24 Lands and 6 dorks will flood a lot but I have Rhonas and Township as mana sinks. There is some synergy there since Townshipping weenies will turn on Rhonas. I think there's a case for Township now when our creatures are no longer the biggest around. It might have some relevancy in the shadow and tron matchups. This build is definitely a 4x skyspawner build only since skyspawner synergizes with both Rhonas and Township so much better than reshaper.
Anyone able to beat soul sisters without a busted start of t2 thought knot into t3 reality smasher? A good friend of mine has been on this deck and my wins percentages against him are pretty dismal unless I get a busted start. Currently playing 2 EE and 2 Ratchet Bombs anyone have any advice on this match up?
It is very difficult if not impossible to purely play the control against affinity. They have removal for displacer, too much threat density for our removal, and too many outs over time. The key to beating affinity is to disrupt them early with a well timed ee or path, and kill them quickly before they rebuild. Rhonas and smasher are great for this. Plus TKS is actively bad in the matchup as they quickly get hellbent, and it dies to gblast.
I cut stony a while ago in favor of worships, ratchet bombs, and occasionally natural state. My overall match winrate against them is still in the 60% range. Stony is obviously good but you don't want to be in the situation of having too many dead draws after resolving one. Nor do you want to keep bad hands with stony as the only payoff. The matchup is still easily winnable without it. Plus not even stony is a hard lock with aether grid and inkmoth as outs.

This is interesting to me because I always thought that we are the controlling deck in the affinity matchup, post board.
Your suggestion is to race them, rather than lower your curve and attempt to control the board?
Usually, they won't have any cards in hand by the time we cast TKS.
