Why are 4 mana sorcery speed board wipes being discussed in this thread?
Because Collected Company is a real card and we need more answers. Also, wraths are VERY good versus a lot of the decks right now. Taking out Geist for some wraths really help our heavy creature match ups. Geist is a 2/2 and can't attack through heavy boards, but the plan of winning through Resto Angels, Batterskull, and Snapcasters after wiping the board is a lot easier versus decks like: Collected Company, Zoo, Fish, Robots, and it is OK against Wilt Leaf Abzan.

I think Anger of the Gods is better against the Anafenza's Company decks that play Kitchen Finks, Voice of Resurgence, Eternal Witness, Murderous Redcap etc. And it doesn't kill your Restoration Angels, Thundermaw Hellkite, Batterskull (or Dragonlord Ojutai).

Sure it's better against Abzan Company, but then that's 2 sideboard slots that could be supreme verdict, that you can't play vs merfolk, Big Zoo, or Grixis Delver, or even 4/5 creature Abzan decks.
I think it is worth considering adding some Mana Leaks back into the UWR Midrange build. With Collected Company everywhere, Mana Leak is where I want to be.

They also happen to work great with Azorius Charm if you're going for that route. Bounce it, they lose their next draw, then you mana leak it after they cast it again. Very strong, especially if they delved it in the first place. Charm is also super good for looking for lands in the early game, serving a similar role as Anticipate but being live for removal or life gain later on.

I agree with everything you said, I think Azorious Charm is a real consideration, I will be playing 2 in my FNM tonight

Khainn, which matches do you sideboard in grim lavamancer against?
Celestial_Crusader, a lot of older versions of UWr midrange ran Cryptic but it stresses the manabase a lot. There are still current lists that use it too but they aren't as common as before.
How important is Forked Bolt? I'm thinking of having 1-of as another turn 1 spell. But if it's not that important than I'll just replace it with another copy of Electrolyze.
I just changed my UWR control to UWR midrange, what do you guys think? Don't really want to use Geist cause it's too expensive, out of stock in my local shop and I find Blade Splicer better with restoration angel. Needs some help with my sideboard too against unknown meta.

Looks decent. I prefer having a 4th Celestial Colonnade instead of a Dragonlord Ojutai. Also, not sure about the playset of Wall of Omens. Often times WUR Midrange is the aggressor. And for the matchups that WUR Midrange is the control player, i.e. Burn, Affinity, Infect, Grixis Delver, I'd much rather have more removal/counters instead of Wall of Omens.

I usually run 2 of them main, but I'm taking them out for Azorius Charm today.
