URx won't drop, twin will be back, and scapeshift as well. We'll see less delver, but I hope it won't disappear (they got monastery after all...) Keranos is good against GBx because they can't kill him, and it can help us when in top deck. But when I said it would make a comeback was to sb lol
I don't understand 3EE and 3 Leyline, the rest seems pretty ok.
Leyline for jund/junk discard and burn. Batterskull and keranos are good against them, but if they use thoughtseize it's useless. Also lilianas would be a lot weaker.
EE I still have to test. If I go 3EE and 1 verdict, or 2/2.
EE is a way to wrath without killing geist and one of our best weapon against boggles. It can also be used against a lot of things since it destroy everything with that cmc.

Got it, I've never seen Keranos used post khans, and I've been playing Modern only since Khans, so...
Do you think that Chandra, Pyromaster could be viable to get some extra value from Geist (and some card advantage) with a possibly slower metagame?
I don't like her in our build, if i was gonna use a planeswalker, i would choose Elspeth, Knight-Errant or Ajani Vengeant. Elspeth +1 could give +3/+3 to geist and flying so he could attack ignoring possible blockers, and ajani is a finisher (if you go for a more controlling route). Both of them can also protect themselves.
I am thinking about trying some UWR build, what do you guys think about its position postban? Is this deck viable versus Rock?
Rock is probably our new worst matchup in the 1st game. Liliana can kill geist, they have good blockers and the discard is terrible for us. But after board, at least in my list, I bring a lot of cards that could ruin Rock match (Leyline stops their discard and renders their lilianas almost useless - it can still use the +1, but cannot kill geist anymore, neither use her ultimate - relic/rip 'kills' their goyf, and keranos+batterskull are great finishers because they have difficulty to deal with them, i also bring EE/Verdict - EE is a weird choice, but it can kill goyfs+bobs+ooze while keeping our paths to rhino).
I run a pretty simple list, as I am still trying to get used to the deck. I was wondering (mana base aside) if Cryptic Command could just fill the spot of Dig Through Time (as a 2 of). Are there any other suggestions, or will I have to change the deck up a fair bit?
we'll swap in telling time. its about the same as dig through time.... if only telling time was
the two dtt slots will probably be mana leaks or something. we absolutely need 3 or 4 leylines in the board. invalidating lily's -2, targeted discard, and burn will be critical in the new meta.

I speak in sarcasm because calling people ******* ******** is not allowed.
Actually, is quite hard to have a control role against 8-10 discard spells + 4 lilianas+1. Or they'll rip counterspells from our hand to play lilianas, or they rip our removal and play goyfs/rhinos. If you can't keep your hand protected is very hard to really control the game.
I was thinking of going the wall of omens + clique + angel route instead of geist. It will of course depend on the resulting meta after these BIG changes.
Twin is gonna go rug for goyf I think, so geist is not so good.
Playing omen on turn2 is not bad against twin. Playing geist on t3 on the draw against half the decks is a big problem tho.
Control shell relies on an understanding of the meta to make correct SB and MD decisions, the midrange variant seems more favourable to an unknown meta unless you're expecting geist to be stonewalled by creatures. I'd personally take the Midrange variant at this point, unless you feel you know where the meta is heading and can tune the control shell to meet it.
This might be a crazy crazy idea but I would never want to board out Geist of Saint Traft on any match up. Hitting 4 damage in the air is kind of relevant adding to that the burn spells package plus Snapcaster Mage has in this deck. We only need to find a way to make Saint Traft attack without getting into trouble. I find Temporal Isolation very exciting. It acts as Saint Traft's protection by making it unblockable(Who plays shadow anyways) netting 4 damage with the Angel doing its job. It can work on opponent's creatures also. They can't block Saint Traft ever(assuming that is the only blocker they have). A potent removal spell early on and late game combo piece. Have not tried yet but might be worth mentioning.

Also, I am considering cutting 2 Geists temporarily (to the side) for 2x Isochron Scepter. Seems fun in game 1, as the opponent will likely not have an answer to it, and it has 18 possible Imprint options (at least in my build). Board them out to finish the 4 Geists for game 2.

Aqueous Form has only one purpose. Temporal Isolation can be used against opponent's creature to halt the attack until the opponent finds a solution or removal for enchant creature in which by that time you should be able to capitalize on that free turns of a potential no creature attack pressure.
In that case, the number of legendary creatures should increase (maybe with brimaz, maybe?).
I think the equipment is cute but I feel it won't help much. Turn 2 equipment to turn 3 geist would be awesome. But if you are behind, it won't help much. It can be tested though.

I would love to use this equipment also and maybe increment Vendilion Clique for a more formidable threat in the air.
