They still run Spellskite, usually not main though, it's slow and does little for them. Post-board they're happy to bring it in against you.
Mana Leaks and Remands and generally any counter that isn't Spell Snare is bad. Spell Snare hits Plating and Spellskite along with a few other things. The counters are awful since they generally just cast it again.
I've always sort of found Leak kind of lackluster but if you cut all these top end cards you might be able to keep Leaks in I guess, depending on your board plan for them. Like if it's only 2 Pyroclasm and 2 Stony Silence you could definitely keep them in. Plus don't forget you still pull out Remands since they're really bad. At least Leak solves the problem for good.
Who cares about their mana? if they have mana for a spell+leak that means they dont have 5 critters on the board, so thats fine by me.
A single champion/ravager/whatever wont be winning hitting by 2/3 per turn, you know?
Any sideboard advice against affinity and boggles? I cant remember what it was but theres a creature that gives all artifacts an upkeep cost. Anyone using that?

Kataki, war's wage[/CARD] is the card you're looking for. And no, no one uses it in UWR. A better alternative is Stony Silence and Wear/Tear. Kataki is better in a toolbox deck like Pod.

I thought of this but their totem armor still saves the hexproof creature. I might just throw in a few glaring spotlight in the sideboard turning on all of my removal. The totem armor is tough even making wrath effects not so good... Any advice here is much appreciated.

Against Bogle you run Celestial Flare. Works quite well because their Totem Armor does nothing vs Sacrifice.
If you're running all that conditional junk, just run Tempest of Light so you can Snapcast it. Bogles is a bad match because of all the sub-par burn (and we have to keep some of it in to respect Spirit Dancer).

I always have hard hard time against boggles and i can say is my worst MU ever (followed by red martyrs, the deck with norin and blood moon MB).
I usually go like this:
SB out:
4x path to exile
1x ajani
3x remand
SB in:
2x spellskite
2x engineered explosives
2x supreme verdict
1x wrath of god
1x wear //tear
i am pondering about going with celestial flare SB, since it can be used even in mirror matches (if a dragon comes out..), and against jund and infect.
i am testing with mana leak these days, and i like it so far. i took out 1x remand and 1x ajani to play a 2x of leak and it helps me a lot against jund (no more t2 liliana or lingering souls, you b****! xD) and rg tron, and is good even against mono red (there are a lot of them in my metagame).
Yeah I am new to American midrange and I figured this would be the worst matchup. Unfortunately I have a boggle deck in my meta pretty consistently. So far I like celestial flare the most because it is good against more than just boggles. Although it is not very good in the mirror since your opponent can just sac their angel token. Unless you can respond to the trigger... Spell pierce is also a very good sideboard card in this matchup (Boggles) and many others.

Boggles has been an interesting matchup for me as well, but I always found that if I can Engineered Explosives for 1 I'm in a pretty great spot after that.
Just played a few great games against UWR Control, and Stormbreath Dragon puts in a lot of work. Not at all disappointed by putting him in the SB instead of another Thundermaw Hellkite.
Explosives is really good against Boggle. I've also been playing some number of Hallowed Burial which also hoses that deck. Honestly the matchup just relies on you getting lucky. If you see one of the answers you can get to a good spot, but if you don't you're probably dead.
Everyone keeps saying engineered explosives. I don't know what boggle decks you guys play but most have 4-6 copies of totem armor enchants. Even if the enchant has a cmc of 1 the creature and other (non cmc 1) enchants survive the explosives. totem armor is slightly annoying...

Almost all of the enchantments they run are 1cmc. Sure they can just replay Rancor, but it slows them down quite a bit. Especially when Boggles runs such little lands (Molten rain, **** yeah). They get to keep their creatures, but now he's swinging for a lot less than he was before.

Replaced Sowing Salt with Molten Rain, and added 1x Wear//Tear, and 1x Molten Rain in place of Aven Mindcensor.
Now I'm wondering if I can just remove Stony Silence from the entire SB now. If I do I can run 1x Damping Matrix, and 1 more something else. Maybe another Wear//Tear.
What else is Celestial Flare good against, though? Especially since Boggles is tier 2 at best. Seems weird to SB something for a Tier 2 deck.
Who cares?
People are asking for help against Bogle. I gave them a solution. Maybe their meta has tons of Bogles. Anyways Flare is pretty good against Jund too.

Grixis Death's Shadow, Jund, UW Tron, Jeskai Control, Storm, Counters Company, Eldrazi Tron, Affinity, Living End, Infect, Merfolk, Dredge, Ad Nauseam, Amulet, Bogles, Eldrazi Tron, Mono U Tron, Lantern, Mardu Pyromancer
I'd cut expensive cards like dragon and cryptic before I cut leak
if they play 4+ lands to play around leak, that means your Tec edges are active
mox opal and springleaf work well too though

1x Mystic Gate
1x Plains
1x Sacred Foundry

3x Steam Vents
1x Sulfur Falls
2x Tectonic Edge
3x Electrolyze
4x Lightning Bolt
4x Lightning Helix
2x Mana Leak
3x Path to Exile
3x Remand
4x Geist of Saint Traft

2x Celestial Purge
2x Counterflux
