Reprints the one card that people point to when saying that art objectifies women.
Well done Wizards.
Liliana does not objectify women in any way at all. We have gotten to a point in our society that every single picture of a women must be objectifying a women in some negative way......blah blah blah.. That is not the case. (((Sarcasm)))Picture of a girl drinking a milk shake, must be sex related and putting women down, picture of girl sitting on a beach, picture of a girl driving a car, picture of a girl on the moon at a new space station.)))
You have a picture of an attractive strong power women who girls dress up as for anime conventions. What more do you want? The picture is fine, happy to see a reprint. Sick of of seeing people claim that everything in existence must be putting women down. Then all I have to do is replace the word "women" with anything else to get the same mentality; fish, cats, arabs, blacks, jews, men, environment, whites, chinese, old people, etc. It doesn't matter what word I put in. Stop sucking life out of everything man. That artwork of her is awesome. Stop putting stuff down man. Just stop. If the picture was really as negative as you claim she would totally nude, in a kitchen, making sandwiches and giving blow jobs. Her abilities would be horrible as well. +1 do nothing -2 do nothing -6 do nothing. Instead liliana of the veil is an amazing planeswalker comparable to jace, the mind sculpter with great art to appreciate.
My suggestion listen to some comedy radio for a while, pandora is free, youtube is free there is something out there for you. ***** go make fun of somebody. The whole world is so serious and campaigning for some cause, or someones rights, everything is a hate crime, racist, sexist. blah blah blah.
"O no mcdonalds must be slandering a hate crime against skinny people every time they make a big mac." hahaha jeeze You're just someone perpetuating another groups negative perspective that they've made you believe is correct. Look at the picture for a hour and tell me what's wrong with it? I don't see anything.
I have heard vague rumors of a moustache-dispensing vending machine in a distant laundromat, across the street from a tattoo parlor. However, this information is shaky, and time is of the essence.
Yeah Bant Eldrazi is an odd deck, I haven't played against it much and it's definitely the matchup I'm the least confident in. It's essentially an aggro deck that starts on turn 3, they have 8 really strong cards and the rest is all meh; you can basically devote your entire strategy to defeating TKS and smasher.Nahiri is really strong against them so I might just bring in both Wear//Tear and EE just for Pithing Needle which they tend to run. I'd like to have mana leak as it is really powerful if they don't have cavern but with 4x cavern and 4x ancient stirrings they will just have it every time anyways. Considering how few creatures they actually have, Geist seems pretty good actually.
Two thing I'm not sure about is Timely Reinforcements versus Death's Shadow; you're never getting the lifegain but considering none of their creatures have evasion it might still be worth it? I'm also not sure what counterspell I want versus abzan coco, Remand or Negate; Negate has only 8 targets apart from maybe thoughtseize but those 8 are the cards to beat
I'm wary of Death's Shadow because there are a lot of bad players playing it; it's kind of the new hotness and on cockatrice I've so often just boltsnapbolted them to death when they went too low, or killed every creature they slammed down without protection. However I feel like any player who actually knows how to pilot the deck and has some patience in their plays can make the deck very dangerous; Death's Shadow (the card) just being out of bolt range whilst threathening oneshot pumpspells at instant speed gives the deck a lot of reach
That all being said it's still just a worse infect and we should have a decent matchup against them
So, maybe a broader question... Against which decks do we take out the combo (Emrakul and 1-2 Nahiri [not all of them])...?
The easy answer is none. You never take out your combo. You can trim Nahiri vs super fast decks, but taking it out seems like a mistake to me.
People will disagree with me on this one but honestly I truely believe what Im saying is correct. This aint Splintertwin but Jeskai Harbinger. Any deck, even infect, zoo, and burn have to use resources on Nahiri if she hits The table that's why she is so powerfull!
Actually they don't. Tron can remove Nahiri with Ugin on turn 4 on the play or just keep an Oblivion Stone on the board at the ready. Infect can just blow you out with man-lands and keep you looking for answers. Zoo and Burn don't have to use all their tools to keep Nahiri down. The only people the Nahiri bait fools are bad players in my experience. If you're the beatdown, you should know that you're the beatdown and act appropriately.
I don't get your argument? because a deck got ways to remove Nahiri we should board her out??? So we shouldn't run Nahiri vs jund because they can just pulse her.... Honestly your argument failed, I still believe Im right.
LOL. Ok. It's about the effectiveness. You claim they have to use resources on Nahiri. I'm telling you that it's not as much as you think. Tron essentially just keeps doing what they do, and often times don't have to do anything special or otherwise worry about Nahiri. Infect will still be setting up to kill you in one or two turns. Zoo and Burn are pretty much the only decks where the combo or just utility of Nahiri might matter, and it's not amazing there either, but you can keep living in your fantasy land. Those are matchups where the older version of Jeskai control is just plain better.
Even though Nahiri is worse in some match-ups you can't just board out your wincon unless you bring in a different one to replace it with. I could see the argument for taking out one Nahiri in some match-ups but going lower than that becomes very questionable because the package is reliant upon itself; having the singleton Emrakul is no longer worth it if you have only two Nahiris in the deck, and siding out Emrakul is also not possible without greatly worsening Nahiri

I think siding out just the Emrakul is alright to do. Sure it makes Nahiri worse, but as long as you have brought in other proactive elements then Nahiri can still provide a lot of value.
As for infect I am in favor of siding out some of the combo (Emmy + 1-2 Nahiri) in favor of other win-cons and more disruption. Tapping out in that matchup for Nahiri is just too risky, not to mention she does nothing against Inkmoth.
Before I mentioned that I leave in all of the combo in the Tron matchup. This is because the matchup is as bad as it is. So it comes down to role assessment. At the end of the day you will usually always be the aggressor vs. Tron, since they have the inevitability of cards like Ulamog/Ugin/Karn. So I tend to think of terms of "how am I going to win these games", rather than "how do I not lose these games".
I've also personally moved away from Crumble to Dust. The card is just too narrow IMO. So I prefer options like Spreading Seas, or Molten Rain, which have applications in other matchups.
Interesting to see your decklist and thoughts on sideboarding. I'm currently using almost the same 75, but with +1 Remand in the main deck (a la Davis' & Ingram's SCG Dallas lists), and a Wrath of God and Blessed Alliance in the sideboard instead of 2 Crumble to Dust or Spreading Seas (I know it means Tron is going to be a huge pain, but am willing to take the risk, I suppose).
I also feel like I want to take out Remand against a lot of decks, though I'm sometimes unsure whether to cut Remand or Ancestral Vision against the aggressive decks -- or maybe both? Cutting both against Infect seems reasonable, but against Burn or Zoo, I assume we want some form of card and/or tempo advantage. I suppose Remand seems worse than Ancestral Vision against Burn, but against Zoo, I'm not as sure.
Guys, I really don't understand how are you going to deal with decks like dredge and etc when I don't see anyone playing any graveyard hates in their side, are you abandoning those matchup totally?
Trying to make the deck more "versatile" against various decks in a complete unknown meta, although slightly worsen matchup that's supposed to be good, but at least I hope this makes those really bad match up closer to even.
To be perfectly honest though, at this point in time, it might be make your sideboard less flexible if you include dedicated GY hate.
I have personally only been able to play against Dredge a few times, and this was a while back so I am sure the lists weren't that optimized; however there are ways to offer resistence without nuking their GY. Pretty much any effect that would send a creature to a zone other than the GY (exile, bounce, back to library, etc) is useful. I think if you want to have more game against Dredge, but don't want to include specific GY hate here are some options:
Thats what I can think of off the top of my head. Most of those options provide ample opportunity to be used in other matchups.
Off the top of my head there are only 3 popular-esque decks that lean heavily enough on their GY that disrupting it is game ending:
-Dredge
-Grishoalbrand (or any Goryo's Vengeance deck)
-Living End
Otherwise the ones that use the GY for a lot of value are:
-Abzan Coco (or other E-witness decks ala Kiki-Chord)
-Grixis (with delve threats + snapcaster)
-Storm
There are probably some that are missing, but you get my point.
Basically as long as Dredge, Goryo's or Living End don't get super dominant in the metagame then I think we are generally better served fighting with more generic cards that can be used in other matchups.
Besides, having a singleton piece of GY hate won't change your percentages by much. This isn't legacy where blue has plenty of card selection to find what they need. Basically we just have to hope to draw that 1-of and swing a game in our favor. Not that we have zero card selection, but...yeah.

Removing the 2 graveyard hates, I have 2 slot in my side.
I have removed Geist from my main for the 4th snapcaster.
I'm not sure what should I have for my last 2 slot in my side. Geist maybe?
Great start, one of our worst matchups. Game 1 I curved nicely from turn 1 AV turn 3 anger turn 4 Nahiri and after some awkward trading to get lingering souls #2 off the table I got there with Emrakul.
Sideboard:
-1 clique -2 helix -1 mana leak
+1 EE +1 staticaster +1 purge +1 anger
Game 2 took FOREVER: I resolved two AVs, my opponent resolved two Painful Truths so we both had 4 cards more than in a normal game. My opponent brought in Gideon, Ally of Zendikar which was a huge beating. After a very long fight he finally grinded me down with Lingering Souls. Game 3 we went to time but I'd have defintely lost if we didn't: I ended turn 5 of the overtime turns at 1 life; I almost fetched to play nahiri but I had to use EE to blow up his Lingering Souls tokens which would have grown goyf into lethal had I fetched. Close call
0-0-1
round 2: jund werewolves
Aether Vial with werewolves. This deck wasn't that good and both games were over soon; Nahiri ultimate game 1, and snap beatdown with a beast token from when my opponent Beast Withined my Nahiri. I forgot how exactly I sided but I basically took out counterspells for wear// tear and more removal
1-0-1
round 3: burn
game 1 started off rough when my opponent went turn 1 goblin guide... revealing wear // tear from the top of my library. I forgot to side out from the previous match and got a game loss.
sideboard:
-1 clique -2 remand -1AV -1 verdict
+1 purge +1 dispel +2 negate +1 timely
game 2 and 3 were very tight. Game 1 I held on to timely reinforcements to cast it with mana leak backup as me opponent kept representing Atarka's Command; he did indeed have it. Game 3 I got down to 1 life before my AV went off and bought me back into the game with timely, lightning helix and nahiri. I had to make a really wonky play this game where I knew I had a Lightning Helix on top but had to Ghost Quarter myself to find an Island to dispel the lethal Lightning Bolt, the turn before AV went off. So even though I blundered game 1 I won this match
2-0-1
round 4: abzan midrange
yup, again. Game 1 I got there with a huge supreme verdict blowing up a goyf, tasigur and 2 souls tokens then nahiri ult for the win. game 2 I really should have won but my opponent got that great BGx topdecking, celestial purging a Nahiri on 8 loyalty and a few turns later maelstrom pulsing another nahiri on 8, and then went Siege Rhino into Lingering Souls for the win. I can't remember game 3 very well but he also had Gideon Ally of Zendikar and grinded me out with Gideon's emblem + some souls tokens. (I boarded the same as in the first abzan MU)
2-1-1
round 5: abzan coco
game 1 was over pretty soon as, after the first flurry of removal spells, he went coco for two pieces, untap and chord for the third one. I went in the tank a bit for the sideboard as I wanted to try out a new strat; forego their aggro/gavony township plan and just focus fully on beating coco and chord
sideboard:
-1 clique -2 remand -2 spell snare +1 staticaster +1 dispel +2 negate +1 anger
game 2 I got there pretty fast, got a huge anger in for finks, anafenza and bop, negating a coco and then nahiri got to ultimate. Game 3 almost went to time and was really intense; my opponent got Pharika, God of Affliction in on turn 3, then played a bunch of dorks to turn Pharika into a creature and swing for 6 off noble hierarch's exalted. I got to bolt Viscera seer which would turn off pharika so my opponent chorded for Eternal witness (returning chord) I let that resolve and then pathed Pharika, which I think was a pretty sweet play. I revealed Negate off a Thoughtseize (taking nahiri) and kept him off coco and chord for forever. I got an Anger off for 5 creatures (4 manadorks and a finks) and after a long run of mediocre beats my AV resolved right as my opponent started activating Gavony Township. I traded a ton of spot removal and got to ultimate Nahiri at 1 life (again!!!) which was lethal together with a bolt.
3-1-1
round 6: abzan midrange/tokens/I really REALLY hate jund and nahiri edition
This matchup was just unwinnable basically. Not only did it have 4x voice of resurgence and 4x lingering souls main, it also had 4x spectral procession and a bunch of token-making planeswalkers (Ally gideon again). I made a huge misplay game 1 where Mana leaked my opponent's second voice of resurgence, giving him a token off the first one; that would have been worth it were it not that my opponent could pay for the mana leak off two manadorks. That particular token got to swing once for 7 before I got rid of it which made me unable to stabilize once my double AV resolved. For the sideboard plan I had to improv a bit and decided to focus on beating the tokens and planeswalkers and just sort of give up on voice
sideboard:
-1 clique -2 helix -1 bolt -2 spell snare
+1 EE +1 staticaster +1 purge +1 anger +2 negate
game 2 I actually managed to win by negating a gideon and angering a bunch of tokens. I used EE on 1 to blow up a grafdigger's cage to ultimate with nahiri for the win; he almost even managed to come back from the hit as he got to sack 2 tokens. Game 3 was a massacre, where he managed to get his 5+ tokens to 4/4s with Nissa, Voice of Zendikar and Ally Gideon's emblem. I stalled a long time with Timely Reinforcements + snap flashback timely but I could not find a single wrath that game.
final score: 3-1-2
Overall results:
Going against abzan trice of which one was super turbo hate abzan sucked. Looking at my list I greatly overestimated the prevalence of other blue decks; especially Vendilion Clique really sucked and from the ~20 decks I saw that event the only one I wouldvé wanted it against was Ad Nauseam. Izzet Staticaster was an absolute bomb; looking at how the day played out I'd almost say I want even more cards against Lingering Souls but I already run 5 token wrath effects which is probably enough. That being said, I might add a Detention Sphere as it gives a good way to deal with Planeswalkers. AV was very strong, although I noticed I hardly ever wanted two at the same time suspended; losing 1 CA for 4 turns to draw 3 was very strong and I wanted it even against burn, but being two cards down made it hard to stabilize once the AVs went off.
Some assessments from my previous list; I'm keeping my mainboard the same for now but I'll be changing some sideboard stuff; the Vendilion Clique is coming out for a Detention Sphere so I have an additional out to tokens that also deals with Planeswalkers.
I'm also thinking about Crumble to Dust; right now I use it very narrowly, only coming in against tron and valakut decks. I would really like to have a land destruction spell versus BGx as their manlands are such a beating so I could switch to Molten Rain but is cheapening the spell one mana worth losing percentages against tron and Valakut? I could just as well start boarding Crumble to Dust in against BGx. The only decks where I'd greatly want Molten Rain over Crumble is in the mirror.
Crumble is only good against Tron decks. If you want land destruction for grindy decks, Molten Rain is your best bet for sure, but I wouldn't really bother with them considering that most grindy decks are roughly 50/50 matchups. Crumble against BGx usually does nothing. It costs a ton, has no flashy effects, doesn't kill their gameplan, and wastes a turn. Molten Rain comes down a turn earlier, can deal damage, and can also be used on basics to screw them off colours.
I'm not really worried about Jund as much as Abzan; those decks are tuned to beat Jund and Jeskai by just being mostly bolt-proof. Something that came up often was that I had to tap out for a Wrath effect to deal with tokens giving them an opportunity to swing in with a manland for free; having a way to deal with manlands at my leisure instead of on theirs is something I think would be very valuable. Molten Rain is obviously better at that than Crumble but is it worth losing percentage against tron? Crumble is clunky and expensive against Abzan but it does get the job done. On the other hand tron has been going down so much since the banning of Eye of Ugin, setting them back a single turn to resolve nahiri sounds doable (but not great)
Basically the question is whether overall, crumble is better than molten rain win-percentage wise.
I think that overall Crumble does more against Tron than Molten Rain does against Abzan. Crumble shuts down their deck when you have it. Rain slows down Abzan. And we still have the Nahiri plan. Against Abzan, you probably want more Cryptics, to be honest.

I think curving blockers into Nahiri is probably best left to green decks, but could be wrong
UW Ephara Hatebears [Primer], GB Gitrog Lands, BRU Inalla Combo-Control, URG Maelstrom Wanderer Landfall

Basically the question is whether overall, crumble is better than molten rain win-percentage wise.
