How do you cast memory end of turn when it's sorcery speeed? Is there something I'm missing?
Amonkhet split cards like Commit // Memory are both card types at once. So Commit // Memory is an instant AND a sorcery at the same time. Torrential Gearhulk's ETB trigger targets an instant in your GY. You can target Commit // Memory and choose to cast Memory side of the card.

is someone trying to dethrone me? =) nice. keep winning win this deck.... i've been running well too.. haven't played much but still getting 4-1's. couple 3-2's with a list that had trade routes, crucible, and trading post =).
How important has the single gemstone caverns been for you guys? I rarely see it in opening hands on the draw and i just saw that i could sell it for $24 store credit. Would i be missing out by selling it? It just seems like it barely improves win percentage and there are other lands that could be played with more utility, even another blue source.

When you get it, it's amazing. When you don't, it's almost the absolute worst draw. As you mentioned, you rarely draw it, as it is a 1 of. I've just recently cut it from the deck. I do agree with rabbit though, I don't know that I'd sell it just yet, unless there's something you absolutely need for the deck.
I have actively disliked the Gemstone Caverns. I'm going to cut it soon. Open to suggestions on what the replacement should be, though; I'm highly partial towards another U source, but I'm not sure if plain old Island is what I want. Maybe a second copy of Tolaria West? It's been decent, and I've found myself in situations where fetching the Tolaria West with Expedition Map to then fetch a Walking Ballista or the 3rd Tron land has been a game-winning line.
Can someone sell me on EE? The card is pretty expensive and that doesn't even include the things that go with it like the talisman, river of tears, walking ballista, etc.
I'd be very interesting in seeing how consistent the deck is at 1) getting Engineered Explosives, 2) getting the black source to set it to two, while getting hit by those Merfolk lords. I could see it being decent against decks with lots of 1-drops and tokens/0-drops, but that's basically all I see it being consistently good for. I understand that we have tools for setting it up, and we can imagine ourselves doing so, and maybe even pulled it off a few times. But how many times have any of us actually done it consistently? I'd love to see some real, hard numbers, personally.

I didn‘t get to play for the last month, but I included a package of 3 fetchlands and a Watery Grave along with the 2 Jace, the Mind Sculptors that I still want to give a try.

Thats just it. I want to incorporate crucible of worlds and gifts ungiven into my build. I wouldn't sell gemstone caverns just to sell it but having access to crucible and gifts seems fun and powerful and crucible is expensive. Selling gemstone gets me half way there!
I run 3 River of Tears as black sources. Played against Merfolks three times (2-0, 2-1, 0-2) with that configuration - a small sample, of course, but better than nothing - and every time I could have casted it I ALWAYS had the second colour. They will hit 100% of the time Tron lands with Seas, so I don’t get why we should have issues. Of course, if you play less b-sources the problem isn’t really about the deck you’re facing, but I highly suggest you to do so. And I remember clearly winning one game thanks to a EE on one which killed 2 Vials and a Cursecatcher.
Ah, I forgot about Humans. Explosives are pretty much our only chance against a fast start from them.
Thanks for the response That sounds reasonable, with three Rivers. I'll give that a shot and see how it plays out for me. I'm not sure what I'd cut from the main to make room for it, but I can probably figure something out.
Tried out Jace, The Mind Sculptor the other night and it felt really bad like I thought it would. Didn't have any synergy with out primary card draw thirst for knowledge and on top that we don't really play the bodies needed to put in front him like a nice goyf

Yeah I ran him in a few friendlies and a few small paper events as a 1-of. Don't think I ever got 4mana of value out of him before he ate the dust. By the time I could cast him with protection I had faster wincons to fetch out or sitting in hand. He's a scary card when he gets going but I am shelving him in U Tron.
Yep, Imo the newkarn is much better 4CMC planeswalker here (and the artifact matter is really nice). If he woudn't be too pricely I will test him in talisman (+steel wall) version of the deck
The lack of Chalice is very surprising since I feel like it helps in the Burn matchup, but it looks like he went with Sun Droplet and a Talisman of Progress for an additional counter on EE (something I see Shok do every once in a while). Sun Droplet seems so underwhelming...has anybody tried that out lately?

Chalice is one of those cards that hoses certain strategies quite nicely, but if you don't have it in the first couple turns against aggressive decks, it can be a really poor top deck. That being said, in a deck like ours with counter magic and bounce effects it can have late game utility helping to stabilize or lock the game down after stabilizing. I'm always on the fence about it. When its great its great, other times it's meh at best. At least we can always pitch to thirst.
Specific hate card that actually no one ends up playing or blood moon for 1 less mana and affordable for any deck?
Not concerned at all TBH. Aggro decks are our worst matchup and if they take a turn off to play that then we are in great shape because they're just giving us extra turns. Same goes for midrange really. The hot midrange deck is Jund and I don't see them even playing it with Bloodbraid getting hosed by it. I guess other control decks could drop it and try and protect it but some lists are already on 2-4 Field of Ruin that is harder to deal with since we can't use Repeal or counter them.
I don't even counter Blood Moons anymore unless I'm just using a Remand to draw a card or my only blue source in play is non-basic. I'll just let them waste the turn playing it, end step draw/filter some cards and then Repeal it when I have tron in place. I think the same thing will happen with Damping Sphere.
I am inclined to agree, we are no where near as reliant on tron as or green cousins with a lot more low cost spells. I feel like using land hate against us all about good timing rather than slamming it and thinking you have won.
I think they're dismissing it against us, not for us. I think it's not really something to worry about but an interesting sideboard card. I think it will give us some advantage vs other tron decks and has obvious upside against a lot of decks with the second part of the card.
Definitely worth a try.

Field of ruin, fuminator mage, moltern rain hurt a lot more when they knock it out on a critical turn.
I still might consider putting solemns back into my deck for more causal ramp though.
