That's what I was thinking. I wish he streamed the recent 5-0s (and other results too). I would love to see great Company players in action!

I chickened out on abandoning Finks because it had been so good for me. But it couldn't save me last Friday, so I'm finally caving to the wisdom of Laplasjan. Next FNM I'll be running:
Nope. Still been good as ever for me. Played an event with some Knight of Autumn's in the sideboard and KotR main still, but I want to try with KoA main and some other stuff in the side. Possibly just 3-4 Tireless Trackers to side in for the midrange/control matchups when you can't reliably combo.

Yes, you're right. I originally dismissed your use of KotR because it just seemed like a high value creature that can get hit off of Bugler. It only clicked recently that KotR is played as an alternate path to victory, not a stalling element (like Finks) or an advantage element (like Tracker).
I'm concerned that I won't survive long enough for my KotR/Tracker plan to lead to victory, but I can't know until I test it.
another 5-0 ... maybe it's time to sleeve the deck up again.
Honestly, yeah, the deck is strong and probably underplayed. Notice that Laplasjan changed up the sideboard a bit to compensate for MTGO's shift to Dredge/BG/UW decks. Some acutal graveyard hate, more Tropy than Decay, and less Knight of Autumn. (Although if you run into the Artifact prison and Burn decks more often, that might be arguable.) The core list is solid, that's for sure.
Don't worry Torpf, your list with KoTR and Bugler is pretty rockin'. I was using it right before and after GRN came out and getting good results (68% win rate with a few 4-1 comp leagues in the mix). I switched over to Laplasjan's current list because it feels like a strong modification on Yuya Hosokawa's 9th place list from GP Prague. (Which seemed to get 0 press?) Having the strong mid-range threats to fall back on feels really good, especially against UW and BGx.
I'm wondering what people think about replacing the Finks in Laplasjan's list with Kambal Consul of Allocation to hedge against Burn and Storm together?
Also, hoping to see more talk about the deck in the future!
So it looks like Abzan Company is no more, and has been replaced by GW Company as people are moving away from the Finks life combo. I've decided to hop on the bandwagon and have altered my list. It's essentially a copy of Laplasjan's list, but I do -1 Courser and +1 Eternal Witness MB, and -1 Voice and +1 KoA SB.
I was also thinking of cutting 1 EWit and 1 Duskwatch for 2 Militia Bugler MB. Let me know your thoughts!
I'm asking myself what's the best place for the 1 bojuka bog : main or side? Why not main to free 1 sideboard card? What do you guys think?
If your meta is flooded with graveyard decks, then I suppose one maindeck would be alright. But if you're proposing one in the MD because you think it would be generally good, then you should play a second Scavenging Ooze maindeck before you escalate to Bog.
I haven't seen a rise in graveyard stuff yet, but I'll probably try to wedge Bojuka Bog into my SB anyways. I certainly missed it when playing against KCI last Friday.
I'm surprised Laplasjan has gone down to 2 Path in the SB. Maybe he's just expecting Burn to subside because of Creeping Chill and that he doesn't need the exiling removal vs Dredge due to Bog + KotR? Even with those considerations, the 1 CMC vs 2 CMC on my removal is constantly relevant for me. Can anyone guess why he would cut a Path?
I really don't know, but I assume it's because he has 3 Assassin's Trophy and in order to free up slots for Knight of Autumn. Anyone tested that card yet? Or either one for that matter?

I've found that KotR can be awkward to play, but can be super awkward to play AGAINST. My opponents constantly fear it, yet I never feel victorious when drawing/playing it. I think you are underestimating the impact it has on the game simply because it isn't impacting you. Whereas Militia Bugler or Kitchen Finks have direct impacts on you, so you can feel the benefits clearly.
Keep in mind that Knight constantly threatens to directly win the game all on its own while Kitchen Finks is hard pressed to do that (insufficient clock).
I do not understand not having a red splash with a single kessig wolf run at least if running 4 x kotr. It was very good when I was running it.
I mostly agree with you. Knight of the Reliquary needs a source of trample if you want to win games reliably and in a timely fashion. Kessig Wolf Run is one option and I've used it extensively in past KotR decks.
In my version of GWx Vizier, I use Rhonas, the Indomitable to provide trample. I'm consistently happy with this decision: Rhonas provides a wincon that can be hit by CoCo or Chord (unlike Ballista), he provides a secondary wincon when your opponent shuts off Walking Ballista (Pithing Needle/Phyrexian Revoker/Stony Silence/etc), playing Rhonas means you don't have to splash a 4th color, an indestructible 5/5 causes headaches for most fair decks in the format, and even without infinite mana nor big creatures Rhonas's activated ability is very VERY powerful in a deck with a lot of mana to spend (I've won a non-negligible number of games due to Rhonas buffing spare mana dorks to swing for lethal).
I'm starting to think that KoTR might just be flavor of the month. I still really like having the Finks life combo, and with this latest list which incorporates a third combo using Saffi Eriksdotter for infinite scry, as well as a SB built for beat-down and utility, the deck is much stronger.
Here's my new list (Basically a copy of the Modern 10K list with -1 Voice of Resurgence and +1 Eternal Witness) :
I'm also debating doing -1 Renegade Rallier or EWit and +1 land, but I think that may just be my OCD wanting 22 lands haha. Thoughts?
I like your list a lot, I will try it for sure.
Maybe -2 Rallier +2 Duskwatch, its a really good card in many situations; and a bolt eater too.
Concerning Voice, I like have a copy of it in my 75, in sideboard in general.
Greetings,

I wouldn't remove Rallier. It gives us a third combo with Vicera Seer and Saffi Eriksdotter to allow for infinite scry. Doesn't win the game on the spot, but it has to be answered or it gives an insurmountable advantage.
Does anyone have any advice for beating Hardened Scales?
The Kitchen Finks shell had a SB guide by Laplasjan that said you should just pray for the combo and shoot any Walking Ballistas. I've found this to be completely insufficient and I have yet to win a match.
Now that I'm playing Knight of the Reliquary, I can effectively apply pressure at least for the early and mid-game. If they attempt to go wide, Rhonas provides trample to get past their tokens. If the Hardened Scales player makes one or two enormous robots to block you, your removal becomes more effective. This seems like a pretty strong angle and I'm going to test it as soon as I can.
Given that there tends to be 1 to 2 Hardened Scales and 1 to 2 KCI at my weekly FNM, I may just squeeze 3x Stony Silence into my sideboard either way...
Stay reasonable, be mindful of your expectations and don't feed the trolls.
