Voice is still a great 2-for-1 blocker that can create a giant token to tangle against eldrazi-sized creatures. The token is a little soft to Displacer but does work against stuff like Koz's return. It's also just a stellar card against any grindy deck, especially blue control. I think you still want at least 2 in the 75.

Hello! I'm fairly new to the deck and had some questions about the sideboard that won GP Detroit. What decks are Linvala and Reveillark specifically coming in for? I'm running almost an identical list, minus two Horizon Canopy because of budget. I will add those two in shortly. I'm on the fence about grabbing a Linvala right now as well, but maybe this will help me better understand the value of the card.
Also, what are some good things to be naming with Phyrexian Revoker?

One canopy is plenty. You can run 2 thickets as well. Dryad arbor is a nice 1-of too.
Linvala is for the mirror and any deck with activated creatures, UW Eldrazi included.
Reveillark is for Grindy matchups, more specifically control decks. It's powerful but can be replaced by other options in the 75 like voice, which still synergizes better with Coco.
Revoker names whatever card you don't want to lose to. Viscera seer. Displacer. Drowner. Pyrite spellbomb. Liliana. Cranial plating. Relic. Knight of the reliquary. Wolf run. Codex shredder. Etc.

These days, some wizards are finding they have a little too much deck left at the end of their $$$.

I tried my hand at creating a primer for the archangel/feeder version of the deck (abzan chord). It still needs a lot work, but hopefully it can be a start for those that want to talk about that version of the deck. All suggestions and input are welcome.
Any thoughts why the decks of the winner of GP Detroit and the 5th position of GP Melbourne didnt run 1/1 Angel/Feeder? Every time I think about it, it seems better and better. A single Angel can change the whole board, sometimes way better than Gavony.
All the decklists I have seen from the GPs this weekend have Orzhov Pontiff in the main deck. Is that because they expected to face Affinity and the mirror a lot, or are there other reasons to have him in for game 1?
So, I can confirm that voice of resurgence is still pretty good. I have two in my board, and last FNM, they single handedly won me game 3 against my friend's R/B control deck. First, he ripped my hand apart with thoughtseizes and inquisitions, then killed the little board I had with a Pyroclasm a few turns in. I manage to land an e witness, got back a coco. Traded the witness for his mutavault. I company into voice and something else, he damnations, and then I start beating for one with the voice token every turn while he draws lands mostly. I get the second voice and he scoops. Went 4-1 that night, my only loss to infect, even with two melira in my opener, they die to paths from the side.

I can't speak from actual personal experience, but my friend went 11-4 with The deck at Detroit and had some pretty solid opinions on pontiff and the angel combo. His list had 1/1 split of feeder/thune, and his pontiff was SB only. He said in testing that pontiff was often a very clunky 3-drop to draw, and he only rarely chorded for it. It does good things in many situations but he did it feel it was necessary game 1.
As for feeder and thune, he pointed out that they are both great threats on their own and I agree. Feeder wrecks burn and buys time elsewhere, and can get downright dirty with finks township or bolster triggers. Angel is just a huge threat if she sticks, combo or not. But having a combo kill that isn't soft to RIP effects is huge.
Despite the top Abzan decks deviating from his build, I'm pretty sure my friend is right in his assessments. I'm copying his list exActly and will be testing that build going forward. Just because those other guys finished highest doesn't mean they had the optimal build, just that they had the best games. I'm pretty sure all versions of Melira are favored against uw drazi. It's GR we have to watch out for through. In any case, 0 pontiff main and 1/1 angel feeder seems like the right place to be right now for sure.

Archangel chord run full playset of hierarchs typically.
Kiki chord is lighter on hierarchs but also just a severely questionable deck.
Ehhh I think it's a good deck. It looked like a pile of garbage but I played a decent amount of games with it now and it was surprisingly good. The fact that it's evolved to a 61/62 card deck now is funny though.

I think Abzan Company is just a better deck. I played against three Chord decks at GP Detroit (I was playing RG Eldrazi). The first one was Kiki-Chord in round 3 (we were 2-0). He was playing Myr Superion, which isn't new to me but is certainly not a common choice either. In the fifth round at 4-0, I played against Archangel Chord. He was also playing Myr Superion! In the sixth round, I played against Abzan Company at 5-0. The only strange component of his list was three Spellskite. I know some players were on three Skites at the Pro Tour, but it seems quite subpar to me.
My main observation through Day 1 (I decided not to play in day 2 despite ending day 1 at 6-3, after losing my last three matches in a row to two mirrors and RG Scapeshift's double nut draw) was that there was a LOT of RG Eldrazi and Chord decks at the top tables. When I was playing against Archangel Chord, the match next to me was RG Eldrazi vs Abzan Company, and on the other side it was RG Eldrazi vs Kiki-Chord. Ironically, I also played all of those matchups.
Why didn't you play in Day 2?? I've gone 6-3 in like 4 GPs and would have loved to get another day in the main event, regardless of prize chances. It's also the best way to rack up PW points.
Anyway, I think all versions of chord have their strengths and weaknesses.

Updated the primer since the deck is likely to get some more traffic after the great showings at the GP's this past weekend. Cleaned up a lot of grammar (writing it in Notepad is hard), and updated the sample decks to the GP placing lists. I also added a lot of decks to the spreadsheet which I have neglected a fair amount. It's back on track now and I'll look to keep it updated every ~2 weeks when I get time.
It has been a year since the decks inception, so I'll look to overhaul the matchups/sideboarding section around the time the B&R announcement hits because it really needs it. That's priority #1. Then from there I'll look to update the card choices to be more in-depth and maybe fine tune some other stuff.
If there are any ideas for what should be added then let me know!
Well, I picked this deck up. It's hard to believe it's only been a year since the Pod ban. I had been staying away from this deck because CoCo just doesn't make me happy the way Pod does, but I've finally come around and dusted off my cards.
This deck is really good.
From my so far limited testing I think I have to fall on the side of not using the Archangel/Thune combo. With so many slots dedicated to one combo already, it just doesn't feel like the deck really has the room for it.
Interesting that he switched off of Angel back to a pure Company list. I wonder what made him change.
Their team had a tournament report on mtgmintcard.com. Abzan Company is just a faster deck, but they anticipated that Relic of Progenitus would be abundant in PTOGW so they went with version that is less reliant on the graveyard. Now Relic is gone, Abzan Company is better.
