All in all, how would you build your sb? Why do you like Celestial Purge against Jund in the first place? It accomplishes nothing as far as I can tell. Why don't you like Echoing Truth/Recall? Chalice to 0 and/or 1 is a beating, they solve Spellskite, affinity, Nexus and other problems (Echoing in particular).

Trophyless guy.
Thought of the Month: I gave up from trying to require the 'i' on my name: SolesticIo
How I would build my SB is what that entire post talks about, now I'm just sitting down and testing SB setups based on those concepts.
Celestial Purge is the most blunt answer to Lili and also shoots down Jund's big creatures like Kalitas and Huntmaster. I generally like Truth, and my dislike for Recall is laid out above but against many Affinity draws it amounts to a 2 mana fog.
I'm going to be playing in a GPT this weekend and there's talk about there being a lot of aggro decks there, mainly death's shadow zoo. I'm currently running the stock list but the store owner thinks I should run the wish list instead. The meta is typically filled with every T1 deck showing up 1-3 times a tournament, with occasional T2 and T3 decks sprinkled there within. What do you guys think?
I guess it all depends on how you want your game 1 to go. The wish list offers consistency and silver-bullets vs alot of decks. Wish for Firespout to make sure you hit a sweeper for turn 3. Wish for Vexing Shusher to keep the Nahiri player from shutting you down with Counterflux. Can't seem to draw Ad Nauseam? Wish for a Bring to Light to just go get it. Need Unlife or Lotus Bloom? Wish for Wargate to go get that. The redundant bits to go get anything you need whenever you need it make the list shine in slower matchups. Only thing about that list is you lose Sleight of Hand and Spoils of the Vault, but in my opinion that's not even that bad. Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I always seem to exile a critical combo piece, or just kill myself 40% of the time when I cast Spoils. As for Sleight, I'll take Wishes over that any day. I'd rather pay one more mana and get exactly what I need, than pay 1 mana and maybe get what I need.

If you're playing vs lots of aggro, I would recommend the Spoils version as it can go off faster than other versions. I'd also run 4 Phyrexian Unlife in the mainboard.
Apart from this point, it is also worth noting that spoils is a 1cc instant, so it doesn't take up a whole turn to find the card that you need unlike wish. From experience, this makes a big difference in your ability to win as quick as possible.
I'd suggest having a read through that long winded SB post I made on the last page. I really don't like Spellskite in general, even less as a one-of. The Silence seems awkward and out of place too, if you're meaning to bring it in against control I'd strongly recommend Boseiju, Who Shelters All instead. Two Boseiju in those two slots perhaps? Or if control isn't much of a contender perhaps look into something like Engineered Explosives (This is working very well in testing for me), Lose Hope, Path to Exile, or Wall of Shards as other considerations for the slots. If you feel as though control is enough of a contender to warrant maybe 1 Boseiju I'd consider cutting an Echoing Truth to free up space for it.
What do you think of - 1 Echoing Truth, - 1 Silence, -1 Spellskite, +1 Wall of Shards, +1 Boseiju, Who Shelters All, +1 Path to Exile? I'd like to try explosives but I don't have one or am able to get one in time.
I don't really like one-ofs (Outside of Scorn, Truth, and Pacts), I think picking one or the other would be better but in theory they're good against similar things so that works I guess?

Boseiju is great vs control, but even when you boseiju the ad nauseam and get all your pacts a single counterflux will ruin your day.
Has happened enough times at my LGS that I have a silence in the board now.
Ethereal Haze or Darkness?
Both are 1cmc, but Haze prevents non-combat also, so it should be strictly better in terms of that. Does the difference in color affect which to play over the other?
Black is usually slightly easier on the manabase so most people play Darkness over Haze afaik
My big problem with Darkness was it competing with my black mana. I lost more than a few games because I couldn't value Ad Nauseam into Darkness, or Spoils into Darkness, due to limited black mana. I'm on 3 Haze.
I'm currently playing jund. It's a good deck. But I'm a combo player at heart. I thinking of switching my main deck up from jund to as nauseum. I've been looking at a lot of lists. Is the spoils of the vault version just better than the peer/teachings version? I'm not afraid I'm exiling combo pieces or losing to life loss. I also don't take a loss hard. I'm pretty chill person. I know a lot of people don't want to play spoils because of they type of person they are so they look the other way or don't play the deck at all. So with that being said are both versions about the same?

The Spoils version plays a painless manabase with no shuffle effects, while the Teachings version plays fetches and shocks.

Yeah, so far there's been no conclusive decision that one version is better than the other. Most people are on Spoils though and it does tend to be better in a faster meta like the one we're in so I'd recommend that.
