The Twincast can be countered as normal, but if they allow it to resolve, the copy of Slaughter Games can't, as it has the "Can't be countered" ability.
Well I finished building this today. Already have RUG Twin and UWR Control built, so this only cost about $100 to finish.
I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm excited to do it.
EDIT: Ok here come some dumb questions.
- Say I drew one of my Valakuts before casting Scapeshift. I play Valakut as my 8th land. I cast Scapeshift, and sacrifice all lands except my Valakut. I go get 6 Mountains and the other Valakut. The Valakut in play, the Valakut I shifted for, and all the mountains 'see' each other at the same time and do 36 damage. Is this correct?

If anything enters the battlefield at the same time (or hits the stack at the same time) for whatever reason they do indeed see each other.

Some of the rulings on warp world sort of explain this, but yeah, that play you mentioned is totally possible.
Awesome thank you. This combo is a little more complex than Twin, but I love that it is more or less a 1 card combo. I also love how the sideboard can turn to a midrange deck if need be.
Another dumb question, which decks do we side Inferno Titan and friends in? I only have two Baloths laying around, so I am using Thrun as a placeholder.

While we're on that topic, what are thoughts on having Thrun, the Last Troll in the sideboard as opposed to just being a placeholder? Is he useful enough to warrant a slot in the 75?

I might keep him in. If nothing else he handles opposing Thruns.
I tested the deck against Pod tonight. I won 3 games out of 5.
Game 5 was interesting. I had drawn 5 Mountains and had Scapeshift in hand, not really knowing what to do (I also had a Valakut in hand). I had 3 Mountains in play, he was at 17 life.
I think the line I took was correct:
- I have 6 lands in play
- Play Valakut from my hand (bringing it to 7, with Valakut being tapped)
- Cast Search for Tomorrow to get a Forest
- Cast Scapeshift with the remaining 4 untapped lands
- I sacrificed 5 lands (4 non-mountians and 1 mountain) to get 4 Mountains and 1 Valakut (I had two mountains still in play at this point)
- The 4 mountains enter with the second Valakut, and since I already have two mountains and the first Valakut in play, that makes each of the 4 mountains do 6 damage, so I did 24 for the win.

Under the assumption you're not running Wurmcoil in your SB: I'd bringing Titan in for Pod, Jund/k, Delver, and Hatebears. And any deck with a lot of x/1's and x/2's that can be disruptive to your combo.
Under the assumption you do have Wurmcoil, I'd likely keep it in the SB against Jund/k and bringin WCE instead. This all depends on numbers ofc, i think you can afford bringing in 3-5 creatures vs. Jund/k, 2 of them being Baloth, and perhaps 1 of them being a Clique to pressure Lili.

I think your MU vs. UWR Control is already good, and he's not where you'd like to be against the Mirror or Twin. And those are the only Counterspell decks I can think of where he'd be considered a "good" card. In most cases, against Counterspell decks, i'd prefer Clique or Boseiju in that slot.
Hi guys, I need a little help.
What is the typical SB plan vs. GWB Pod? Thanks a lot
I usually bring in an Ancient Grudge and a pair of Inferno Titans. This matchup is extremely favorable for us, so we don't really need much for it in the side.
EDIT: Oh and if you have Pyroclasms or Anger of the Gods in the side those are crazy good here!
I usually side out remand, especcialy on the draw, and side in one anger one grudge and two titans.
If you want to play around choke side out also one or two cryptic, siding in another anger probably.

anger of the gods is good but the exile clause's importants I feel is over stressed, mainboard I feel slagstorm is the superior sweeper. since it gives you the option to hit your opponent in creatureless match ups game 1.

my current train of thought is this. Courser have the advantage to be able to block and attack and have the ability to gain life for us but Keranos have the advantage of being a more resilient threat and repeatable burns while giving probably more card advantage. Keranos also avoid path, slaughter pact, terminate and other removals in general while Courser can get removed alot more easier. Keranos also give lesser information to opponent as well since opponent will only know the land that you reveal or the first card that you reveal rather than all the cards that is revealed which is probably one main reason why I'm abit skeptical to use Courser since giving free information to opponent in general make games harder for us. Am I right to assume that?
In terms of mana cost, Courser is abit easier to cast but however in a optimal game with us doing turn 1 search and turn 2 ste and laying down a 3rd land, it is possible to cast keranos on turn 3 as well which is the same turn which one can cast courser as well.
Fallout has clear upside against delver decks, but the extra damage is really huge against pod as well as the exile clause. Finks comes back, voice will get a token, and witness and revlilark still retain all their value.
Exile clause on Anger of the Gods is not irrelevant against pod. Certainly more useful than the opportunity to hit players and needing one less land IMO.
RE: Keranos vs Courser
I'm assuming you're talking about the maindeck, and Keranos is too slow in a lot of matchups. Courser is a good roadblock for delver and pod creatures early in the game, and the lifegain is amazing because most decks will be trying to burn you out. Path to exile is a joke for this deck.
Question: I cast scapeshift, in response the opponent flashes in aven mindscencor, can I bolt aven on the stack to save my lands and resolve scapeshift?

You sac the lands as part of the resolution of the spell, not as a cost, so all your lands will still be on the field and useable as mana sources for casting Bolt as long as Scapeshift itself has not finished resolving.
As for the other question, yes, you should be able to respond to the Mindcensor entering the battlefield by Bolting it.
The matchup game 1 is really hard unless they take to long to kill us and we top deck or dig into the combo with enough land, I feel game 2 is in our favor I mean we run mana ramp with 4 baloths in the side and 2 ancient grudge and 2 krosan grip. In theory id say were fine but in practice we can wiff or they can wiff. shouldn't be too rough though.

I assume if we are up against Pod/Junk/Something that could have Choke, Krosan Grip should always come in?
