Is Wurmcoil better than Karn? in most situations, no, not really. but it shores up the aggro game. Bolas is not worth it to me despite being a powerhouse, I mentioned him because others have.Garruk though, that card is crazy. spamming powerful tokens an blasting things, in most games, Garruk is like having more Karns! and that is the point, you give me access to more Karns in most games, and tell me there is a minor hoop to jump through, I gladly jump. in the mirror, itcan even help you if the other Karn lands first, if you get Tron online. at least in my meta, I frequently wish for selective card draw and more firepower

So what is the general consensus on Return of Kozilek? It's a pyroclasm you can tutor for 1 extra mana. Its reuse effect has some occasional uses too and doesn't hurt. You could potentially run fewer of them and have a few more flex spots, though I don't know how the mana cost effects it.
So are they're lists that people have been testing yet?
I've tested Kozilek, the Great Distortion with varying effects. I've heard good things about the new Eldrazi instants, but what goes out and what comes in?

I agree with Oath of Nissa being one of the most interesting cards for us Tron people, and Garruk does sound pretty interesting. Does anyone here put any stock into Ancient Stirrings being banned?
I don't understand why you guys would want these planewalkers in the Deck when we have karn and ugin plus you would need oath to work effectively. While being one of the most consistent decks in the format... That doesn't sound consistent to me.
Kozilek's Return is odd. Not many times have I played Ulamog and wished I could wipe the board too. Maybe against G/W Auras, exile a couple of their enchantments and bring the bogle's toughness down to 5 or less.

Other thing that I noticed is the uptick in Ghost Quarters, mainboard the solid 2 but in the sideboard an additional copy to either fight the mirror or fight hate cards such as Crumble to Dust.
What are your thoughts about fighting the hate we are getting due to tron rising in popularity?
The decks that run Kommand are easy matchups, though. You don't need Platinum Angel to beat Jund or Grixis.
Do people really bring in extra artifact hate vs. Tron? I thought the sideboard plan for Tron was land hate: GQ, Crumble to Dust, Fulminator Mage. You also see some Stony Silence to shut down our egg plan.

that is the first I have heard of it, Stirrings is not a scary card, or a card that should ever be on the radar for a ban, honestly, Zi think Tron is safe, unless the format in general is up for a massive round of bannings

You be suprised how many times I've had my e-maps and eggs ancient grudged or nature's claimed before. Its very annoying when you need that green and they do it during your upkeep (eggs) or turn 1 maps, they go turn 1 nature's claim...
So I had an idea today after I played a game vs. BW Eldrazi where my opponent played three Ghost Quarters. I noticed that I was getting Wastelanded hard, so I thought about swapping out the fourth Grove for a mountain or forest. It just feels so bad when your opponent gets to play Wasteland or Swords to Plowshares in Modern because your one basic is in your hand or in play. Everyone is running Ghost or Path these days and I'm pretty sure I could still get a green or red whenever I needed it if that fourth Grove became a second basic with all my eggs.

I've been playing 3 copies of Grove for a while now so I can have 2x Ghost Quarter 2x Forest. It's worked out all right for me.
Well guys, Splinter Twin is gone !!!!
Do we still need Spellskite ? I know infect is a problem, but do we need SKite just for that ?
So, two of our problem matches (Summer Bloom is also banned, which is more of a shin kick to Kangaroo) just disappeared...
WE JUST MOVED UP A TIER!!
Oh... oh no. Does that mean... we're next?

Spellskite is universally good. It stalls burn, it redirects removal, it helps infect (as you noted), and it's an 4 toughness body that can help stall early aggro. It's role may shift a little more towards the side, but it'll be around for awhile. If there's any reason to remove Spellskite, I'd say that the all the goodies we got from Battle for Zendikar block will force it out. But tl;dr... Spellskite will always at the least be an option on the table.
After reading of Alan Rickman, I found myself in desperate need of a pick-me-up, and for once in my life Wizards delivered it. The death of bloom is some of the best news ive read in a long time, but also twin!? Congratulations brothers and sisters, were Tier 1!

Enjoy it while you can. This announcement leaves me very concerned for our deck. Twin was a big counterbalance to Tron in the format. Removing that on top of getting rid of Bloom makes us much better positioned. And we're getting some extra goodies in the new set. Ordinarily all of this would be great news, as it all makes our deck better, but... with this ban, Wizards of the Coast has stated clearly that they are willing to ban decks for the crime of being good (not overpowered, just good) for the sake of shaking things up. What do these changes do? They move Tron closer towards the top, maybe right to the top. And the next time they decide to "shake up" the format, whatever is the top deck will go, which could be Tron.
I wouldn't count out Rending Volley just yet. There's probably going to be some Kiki-Jiki decks coming out, and that takes care of Restoration Angel and Deceiver Exarch. It's also strong against Merfolk. I'm going to reduce the number I play, but I wouldn't take it out entirely.
Anyway, I think the sweepers (Pyroclasm/Firespout/Kozilek's Return) got a lot better. These were bad against Twin and terrible against Amulet Bloom. With those decks gone, I think they've gained strength.
But one card that I think is actually pretty good in the new meta is Sudden Shock. This was another in the vein of "bad against the decks that got banned" but if we're trading out Spellskites (as they are weaker), bringing in cards that still beat Infect is a good idea. It's also decent against Affinity because of its ability to take out an Arcbound Ravager without fear of them sacrificing stuff and tossing it onto something else.
Also, if Twin persists, it'll be in the form of Kiki-Jiki. Sudden Shock was weak against previous variants of Twin because it did nothing against Splinter Twin on Deceiver Exarch, which was their most common combo, but if their only combo piece is Kiki-Jiki, it thwarts all of them because even if it's done with Exarch or Restoration Angel, you can still kill Kiki-Jiki.
Another factor to consider is our deck will probably get more popular. That means more preparation for the mirror. Then again, the mirror is usually such a coinflip maybe it's best to not try to plan much for it and just hope the coinflip ends up in your favor.
Emrakul also seems to lose even more of his usage. A big reason I didn't want to give the card up was that he was so good against Twin, but if Twin is gone (and no new variants or control decks take their place), Emrakul might really be unnecessary now.
Still looking forward to Warping Wail.

There has always been Ghostfire. I feel like the 2nd Boardwipe is rather irrelevant as you usually win the game after casting Ulamog/Emrakul.
Edit: Not a smart guy. Thought Ghostfire hit the whole board. I guess Kozilek's Return may be something new after all.

With Twin and Amulet Bloom gone, I think our biggest problems are Burn, Infect, and Affinity.
My thoughts:
Infect: Melira
Affinity: Krosan Grip? Ancient Grudge?
Burn: more Feed the Clan?
