Come out swinging, and don't let up until they're dead or our situation is untenable. Given long enough, Meddling Mages will turn your best draws into dead draws, and their little creatures will outgrow our big ones. They need to be smashed before that happens. Removal usually targets problematic cards like a well-named Meddling Mage or a key blocker; they're the control deck here, and we can usually outrace them in damage, so we use our disruption to force that.
-- ok, I appreciate the tips. Will remember that. So I guess we are the aggro in the Humans match up.. hopefully able to finish them off before their guys become too tall to handle. 3 Dismembers is all I have for removal though.. adding more removal feels like it would turn Stompy into a bad zoo deck. Need that new elf as an additional threat, in case baloth gets named by meddling mage.

And on something else... I plan to do tests with Ghalta when it arrives on the mail. If him and Rhonas can both be added to the deck without losing consistency. The dinosaur is a high risk, high reward card.. risk is he is uncastable in certain situations. The reward is Ghalta will finish eating a player in two turns if dino is not killed. So will definitely test.
I don’t think it works in this deck. We don’t run planeswalkers, and the benefit of sticking a point of devotion on top of a minor dig-and-reveal effect isn’t worth the loss of mana and tempo.
It is what a red splash fo stompy would look like. However I suppose it’s closer to rg zoo. Congrats on the tourney result though. I like the inclusion of branchwalker.
So I finally found my deck after a good room cleaning. Gonna dust it off and start testing it before I take it anywhere though. I did make some slight adjustments though. If anyone has any tips or pointers I'm all ears.
My sideboard is a bit of a mess at the moment. I figure I'd playtest around a bit and make changes along the way. And I'd like to get a second Rhonas to replace the Dungrove. I might end up trying out 2 Tattermunge Maniac to have a 9th and 10th one drop, but I'm not sure if I really should. Also trying out Pounce since I really don't like playing Dismember. I might be playing it wrong but I always end up screwing myself with that card.
Tattermunge shouldn't even be on your radar. Why play a 2/1 with at least one drawback (more if your opponent happens to have red-hate) when you could play a 2/1 with marginal-upside-but-at-least-no-real-downside in Kessig Prowler? Though even without fetches, I like Narnam Renegade better. I'd even run Wasteland Viper sooner than Tattermunge.

I think I'll try Renegade. I was hesitant to throw him in since I'm not running fetches and I'd be wasting his potential if I didn't.
In actual testing. I've found Narnam to be very useful. Discourages the opponent from blocking.. and several times he traded with Tasigurs, Mandrils, large Tarmogoyfs.
EDIT: also help us survive the early attack of multiple Hollow One from Hollow One decks

If you're paying 2 mana for a fight spell, use Nature's Way. Or, Prey Upon is strictly better than Pounce. However, neither of them is all that useful in a list without deathtouch. You only have 1x Rhonas, and no Narnam Renegades, so I would stick to 2x Dismembers if you're not willing to change that. I also would not use Dunbro in a list with 2x Treetops.
I'm also an advocate for the use of a mainstay "tech slot" in the deck. Bow of Nylea is a popular one that some lists even run 2x of in their 75, but Lifecrafter's Bestiary has found a home in my list. Just a thought.
Getting more excited about our new 5/4 elf as the release date goes near. Need to get at least one from our local store. Will also be getting the new forests from Dominaria.. to refresh the look of my deck.
Guys, I know this theme has come over and over again. Has anyone tried again a set of collected company on the traditional shell? I think it is strong but dunno for sure.

Im feeling the same way too hahaha
By the way, this is my take on the deck now. Any suggestions? Gonna try as soon as possible.
That deck has low presence in my area, so I have no experience with it.
Thanks.

I'm kinda new to the deck but while I was reading I was thinking to a card: Oath of Nissa.
Is it good or just hot garabage?
