Played Humans again tonight, 3-0-1 with the deck which was good for another first place. Won two games specifically due to Wingcrafter. If got me a game and subsequently round wins versus UR Wizards and Saheli Rai combo. The card is quite good as either a 1 or 2 of. I'm currently on one but may make it 2. It's a very good card to break board stalls.
I feel like Anafenza is pretty bad against Hollow One and Bridgevine... leaves many threats untouched in both decks, and is super slow. She's not bad against Dredge, and the 4 butt is relevant against Bolt/Helix, but I'm not looking to make any space for her in my 75.
While I will be picking up 4 promo foils, my guess is that, like hanweir garrison, it will be another awesome card that fits right in our deck, but lacking an ETB, it just can't be justified.
Well Knight of Autumn is a sure addition. The 1/1 DS though... Without a lord it's a very bad card. I dooubt it'll make the cut.
The card is undeniably good! Replaces Reclamation Sage is most of my decks. But i have doubts about humans. How has the GW casting cost of for instance Gaddock Teeg been working out for you all?
Vial (or Noble) is kind of a necessity in a Moon game anyway. I had games where I was unable to cast Rec Sage because of Moon, so now I just accept Moon is a strong effect against Humans.

Qasali Pridemage is no harder to cast than Teeg, comes down the turn before Blood Moon, can wall 1/1s, and pumps attackers. You can name "Wizard" with Cavern or Territory if you need to hard cast it off a tribal land, enabling Meddling and Reflector. It even deals with the rare Torpor Orb where nothing else would. IMO it is very nearly strictly better than Reclamation Sage in Vial Humans. I made the switch a long time ago, and have never regretted it.
Played Wingcrafter again this week to good results 3-0-1. Increased the count from 1 to 2, but I'm hesitant to go beyond that. Giving your guys flying is great at breaking board stalls, and Bugler digs into it late game when you would like to see it.
When playing both Meddling Mage and Kitesail Freebooter, are we better off tucking the more impactful card or naming it? For example, if my opponent's hand has both Lightning Bolt and Damnation, and enough mana to cast both, should we hit Damnation with Meddling Mage or Kitesail? Or does it not really matter?
Without any further information, I would take damnation with kitesail and name bolt with meddling mage. Reason being there are likely more bolts in the deck than damnations. Either way would fall apart if the opponent draws a different removal spell like fatal push.
Guys please opinions on japanese cards. Lost a 3/3 creature against Japan celestial colonade. This guy played all creatures and spells in english cards, but some cards in his manabase was japanese. I dont registrated this really ( my brain say its all fine and all english to me lets attack his empty board)...and i am sure it is a Kind of legal cheating. It is not ok, but i know legal. I Hate such people. I never forget colonade normally, but with this Tricks it can happen one time in 3 years and such people take advantage of this
If I am a customer spending premium amount of dollars, I expect a premium service. Jund falls into the category of a premium deck costing more dollars than a majority of the rest of the format. I'm not getting the desired performance ratio per dollars spent out of the Jund deck because WOTC decided to make the format more diverse.
Don't forget to check if the opponent has red mana open! This changes a lot.
You can be pretty sure they boarded in Damnation for this matchup specifically and it is the stronger card vs us.
If you've dropped your freebooter to gain the info you just shared and the opp has no mana open, take the bolt first and name Damnation with the mage afterwards. This way, they need another removalspell to eventually get both back, but probably won't be able to use Damnation right away.
If he has red mana open, the freebooter will get bolted right away and mage will probably name Damnation anyway.
In the unlikely scenario where you vial in freebooter EOT and they don't have mana open, take Damnation and call Bolt on mage this is the very best but very unlikely option for you.
I played the deck last weekend in a PPTQ qualifier, went 3-2-1, entered the final round at seventh place but lost to an aggro elf deck, havent played magic in awhile and was unfamiliar with the random outlier decks, so my meddling mage choices were not usefull over all I like the deck, but I did not like Militia Bugler I felt it would be good like say a post board sweep, but it never really materialized for me.
This thread is full of idiots... Lightning Bolt is NOT being reprinted.
Many times has a writer in Wizards said so, because of the plain and simple fact that it's too powerful for what it costs. x/3 creatures shouldn't be able to die at instant speed for one mana without a signifigant drawback. (like PTE giving you a land)
I absolutely guarantee that LB will not be printed in M10, and you can quote me on that.

I wonder how Anafenza played out in the tournament.
Win more? Or, worthy of consideration?
A few pumps from Lieutenant or Avabruck and seems like it could be pretty good....

Knight of Autumn is probably the go-to from now on, though.
Here's one written recently by Ondrej Strasky that I found to have a lot of good info. http://arnbl.blogspot.com/2018/09/the-ultimate-humans-primer.html?m=1
