Hey DarXlayer I've climbed from a 1300 to 1500+ ranking on xmage with your list. Seems really nice. Glad to be done with those *****ty Endless Ones. Thanks.
Goyf is amazing in this deck and he can get as big as a 7/8 with our deck alone. This deck gives me 16 colorless sources, 16 red sources and 17 green sources so it's pretty well balanced mana wise. 17 creatures, 7 cards that let us dig, 10 removal spells, and the artifacts gives up that slight ramp. Overall i feel like the deck is nicely balanced and simple. I'll update with my results after my Wednesday night Modern.
Kovo would it be ok if i also use your tarmodrazi banner? I think it's awesome.
What can we do to play more the aggro deck?
I like the deck but sometimes it feels like another midrange deck.
It depends on your draw. If it is fast then you can start dropping TKS on turn 3 or maybe even a smasher. Bant is going to be more aggressive because they have the added acceleration of Hierarch to help out alongside Temple. We can remove stuff in the early game and then drop the midrange creatures a turn ahead of schedule to overwhelm the opponent.
Would you consider to play Rg-Eldrazi with more one Drops like Goblin Guide and Spells like Atarkas Command and Temur Battlerage?
Or would it be to Color intensive?

I think at that point you can just make the argument of "Why aren't you just playing Burn?" The manabase is already very reliant on drawing what you need; no fetching for what you need. I can see adding in cards that are very mana intensive like Atarkas Command going badly. As for something like Temur Battlerage you are again better off probably playing a deck dedicated to it. Yes it will end some games very fast, but so will a couple of 4/4's and 5/5's ahead of the curve.
I understand what you mean, but i hate the feeling the deck gives me, when i play vs Burn or any deck with a big goyf.
We are efficient and make pressure, but if a range of a deck would be rated from 1 to 10 our deck wants to play at the Range of 3-5, everything below and above will beat us.
Its not a good feeling to know that a 5/6 goyf will outclass our creatures.
Maybe i should play 2 Endbringer in main.
I don't get why some people cut Scrying and run Oath of Nissa over it. It doesn't make any sense to me. Scrying is needed, at least as a 3 of. It makes almost sure we always have at the very least an Eldrazi Temple by turn 3, possibly 2 of them. Allows us to have a toolbox of lands. On that regard, by the way: how are you going to find that singleton Kessig Wolf Run when you need it? Just hope to hit it with Oath or Stirrings?
Other minor issues I have with your list: Matter Reshaper is a key component of the deck and should always be a 4 of. Kitchen Finks is too mana intensive for this deck.
Well i'm not a fantastic player but i do believe Sylvan does give us the better edge. Honestly i forgot about the card lol. It does cost 1 mana more but it guarantees us we get the land we need which is a weak point for Oath since we are relying on the top 3 cards containing the land we need. The main thing Oath does better than Sylvan is it helps fuel Goyf and can be dropped turn 1. I'll try to get my hands on Sylvan Scrying before my Modern night. The single Kessig is for extra value, maybe it could be a late game bomb that helps pump World Breaker. In my meta I feel like i need the Finks since there are a few too many aggro decks running around.
Been thinking what card would be add to the sideboard for a meta with a few Jund decks, and Black decks with hand disruption and Lotv. How does Obstinate Baloth make the cut. It does have 3 things going for it. its a 4/4 for 4, gains us 4 life, and goes straight to the field with a Lotv/Ts/Iok sponsership.

If you really need the help VS BG/x then this can be a consideration. Normally I wouldn't play it because of the double G requirement though. Getting a T2 Talisman allows you to often cast it T3 however which is very good still.
On that regard Torpf, do you think we can run as little as 21 lands if we run 4 Talisman? I currently run 23 lands and 2 Talisman. But I still find myself flooding more often than not and on the other hand that turn 2 Talisman can be crucial sometimes, it really is our equivalent of Eye of Ugin. Not to mention, it usually is the only way out of Blood Moon. But since I already have flood issues at 23 lands +2 Talisman, I'm not quite ready to go 23 lands + 4 Talisman...
Oh I defiantly think that going to 4 Talismans isn't a bad idea. 3 At least. You want a T3 TKS as often as you can right? Eldrazi Temple + 2 lands = T3 TKS. Talisman + 3 lands = T3 TKS. This gives you 2 turns to draw the talisman. If you get the T2 talisman then you can still cast an Ancient Stirrings, or Lightning Bolt or Flame Slash which I have found to be really powerful. Imagine this card:
Broken Land V1 2
Sorcery
Put a Karplusan Forest onto the battlefield that is an
Artifact in addition to its other types.
It's like a Farseek or Rampant Growth that cones in untapped! And with Sylvan Scring you can essentially go above '8 Eldrazi lands'. The thing is that we are always getting 4 mana on turn 3 whereas bant Eldrazi can do 4 mana on turn 2. I'd say this deck is more consistent at curving out but Bant is more explosive. If you bolt their doek then you can pull ahead and get a mana advantage. If you can't then they will probably overtake you.
Alright so here is my results form last night. I went 1-3 lol. I'll admit I've only been playing modern for about 6 months and magic for a year now. I'm still working on improving how i play, learning the many decks that are present in modern so here's the deck
Round 1: Abzan Liege 0-2
Couldn't remove the mana dorks and he was able to overrun me both games. 1st time i've seen the deck.
Round 2: Bug/Sultai Midrange 1-2
Had him 1st game, 2nd game IOK & TS along with Snapcaster removed my vital pieces. 3rd game was really close but he got it in the end
Round 3: Jeskai Nahiri: 2-1
Surprising the one round i did win lol. 1st game i was able to out race him. 2nd game the counters were in his favor and 3rd match grafdigger's cage stuck and i was able to overrun him with Goyf and the eldrazi
Round 4: Living End 0-2
Again another deck i've never seen. It's the worst matchup i had. Getting Fulminator Mage by turn 3-4 both games and resolving Living End of a cascade trigger was the death of me both games.
One thing I learned was to expect the unexpected. Instead of the usual aggro heavy decks running around, they just weren't present last night and combo/midrange was the flavor of the night. Going to add Relic of Progenitus and Obsintate Baloth to my sideboard and remove a few. Overall i really like the deck. Switching the Oath of Nissa for Sylvan Scrying was 100 times better. Just need to continue improving my lines of play and try not to misplay as much as i do.
Has anyone tried splashing blue? I know dorwner doesnt work because we cant blink him in like with bant but what about elder deep field? We could utilize both the sanctum trigger and the kozileks return trigger which would be huge edf sac sancum to find another edf? we would have to reduce the number of utility lands but i think it might be worth it? Also thought about slyvan caratid since it survives a kr? Thiughts?
Has anyone gone Stax with Eldrazi? Stax is a very painful deck to play against in Legacy and I can see a very light version being brought over to Modern via Eldrazi. Chalice of the Void and Trinisphere lock out many of the fast decks out there. Throw in Tron, Eldrazi Temple, and Expedition Map to speed things up. Lastly, add colorless beaters for a good ol'beatdown.
Hey guys. I have all the pieces for this deck but i'm a little worried that the bant version just looks better. I do however like the extra speed that this deck promises.
Are there any metagame/times/instances where this deck has an advantage? I can see certain cards in red being really great but am wondering if the general package is good enough at the moment.
I can't see anyone running it at tournaments right now so I'm guessing it'll drop down to developing competitive in the next metagame update, right?
Still, I'm interested. I currently run trondrazi and love it, but am open to mixing things up and running some ancient stirrings for good measure.

You need fetchalnds for Goyf. And Goyf is precisely one of the cards that helps surviving the early turns (among the many other things he can do for this deck).

Generally speaking, RG is better than Bant vs aggro and can also "go larger", meaning we tend to have a better late game.
For the record, this deck provides no extra speed compared to Bant. It's actually Bant that's faster. We're focused both on ramping and disruption in the early turns (Bolt, Kozilek, Scrying, Stirrings, Matter) while they're solely focused on ramping and putting that TKS/Smasher into play as fast as possible.
Let's say I was to include some number of gemstone caverns and Simian spirit guides to speed the general process up. Would that be a reasonable tactic? It seems like the kind of thing you guys will have tried.

I have been testing this deck a lot on xmage. Played at least 50 matches. Had a ton of success. I dropped the matter reshapers for Eldrazi obligators. I found that with 2 temples and another land the 3/1 with haste taking their creature for a turn is really good. Also turn two 3/1 with haste has been better than matter reshaper. It also makes siding better because I feel I pull my talismans a lot game 2-3 which means less targets for reshaper. I have also been using a 1 of batterskull. Also I notice no lists run a copy of wastes. Against blood moon you can't cast anything very much without a talisman with no wastes.
Would love to know of anyone else is using or has tried Eldrazi obligator.
