Ha ha... Yeah, you are probably right. Reanimating the Monster AND LabMan is gonna be tough to pull off. I just thought it might be funny.
As a side note, what are ppl planning on cutting to test Prized Amalgam (if anything)? Looking at my list again, I'm gonna have a tough time getting this guy in.

Prized amalgam will be in jundvine. This guy is straight up nuts. If he were immediately he would be better, IE dodgE a bowrdwipe or something on their turn by triggering bloodghast. Anyway this guy just made bloodghast so much better.
Value is good. But Dredgevine isn't supposed to be about value. It's supposed to be about V-8; 2000 pounds of nitro boosted war vegetables. The more velocity, the better.

Honestly, I was looking to shoe-horn a play set into the deck. Which is not the greatest idea, i know. But I think your approach is better. It might not be necessary to play the whole set. I will probably cut a JVP for it. I'm currently running 3. So, going to 2 (what I probably should have been running in the first place), and adding in this guy seem to be worth testing. Thanks for the insight!

Agreed. In my testing BUGVine doesn't have the consistency to make it work. However, BUGVine also has the chance to be stupidly explosive, so maybe it's worth a shot. (I'm pretty sure all variants are super explosive, but I'm not used to it yet.)

Jundvine is definitely the most consistent. At worst case, we splash a blue source or run a BoP. This is definitely going to help out our pressure. Especially having three base power lets us get through a lot of aggro creatures.
I see the correct number being two in Jundvine versions. I don't want to get stuck not being able to cast him from my hand.

I think it's pretty well established that the Jund version is better/more consistent than the B/U/G version. I just think the Sultai version is more fun. Dose that mean that I shouldn't post here because I'm not competitive enough? If "yes", I apologize in advance.
Creamy, I know you're not a particularly big fan of the all-in versions, but, considering you're currently administering this thread, what's your opinion on the Gitrog Monster version mentioned above? I'd love to see if this can work out and you're the one to inform about how testing went.
Hey man, not sure what you mean by "all-in". I have 5-6 dredge cards in my deck at any given time. Let me know what you mean by this!!! Anyway, I love the Gitrog Monster. It looks sexy. Someone above me mentioned a Rites package and I can definitely agree on that here. We'd have to be a little heavy on the Life from the Loam to back him up, along with some dredge so we can keep our handsize relatively large.

Nonsense. Everyone should be posting here! I just say Jund is more consistent because I don't believe I've seen a strict Sultai list top 8 or go 4-0/5-0 in a League/Daily over the past few years. I know there have been a few 4-c lists in the recent past, but maybe the new addition can help the other versions play more consistently/aggresively.

I will say that from what I've seen of Jundvine and from piloting BUGVine that BUG has the ability to come from behind out of no where. I had a game where a control deck wiped the board and then I cast Lotleth Troll into double Gravecrawler out of the graveyard, nabbing two Vengevines. While Jundvine is technically capable of doing this, Hedron Crab is responsible for this ability in BUG

Hi guys, first time posting here.
Getting a little burnt out in modern so i decided to play a deck ive never played yet. dredgevine :D!
Looking at other people list and gameplay I made a fairly "stock" list of vine lists that people are running with some spice which i would like to play with.
Guys have any further suggestions for my list? I feel that i can cut the bloodghast since the overall consensus on then is that they are very bad for defending and bushwacker will work better with him.

Welcome to the vineyard. If you scroll up a bit you will realise we just got a new plaything that will hopefully make Bloodghast great again (no Trump-pun intended). Otherwise, wait till the new set has come out and then put together a list. We'll make some changes, test a lot and then decide on a new stock list.
Agreed. I'll be doing some streaming once the new set comes out, and I'll acquire some of the new cards once available for MODO in a few weeks I'm guessing.

Yikes, this new guy may push me to try BUG again. 8whacks have been crazy good dont get me wrong, but I see some heaaaaaaaaaaaaaavy Turn 3 swings as possible with a selfmill/dedge version and this guy.

This guy could be pretty broke with narcomeba too. Imo this cards looks great from a speculation stand point too.
Narcomoeba is alright, but I think we have enough recursion without casting that I've always passed on it. It's been used in the Bridge from Below versions in the past.

Hey guys! Afar from the spoilers subject, Just letting you know a thing that worked very well for me last modern tournment:
I've cutted off all dredge enablers from the deck in place of a more hand consistent idea, with 4 seizes and lightning bolts main deck, 3 abrupt decays and 4 Reckless Bushwhackers, the only graveyard enablers were faithless looting and Loltroll discards, I perfecly know that I lowered the power lever of the deck itself, but lowered the chance of mistakes IMO, about the dredge/draw decisions. Result: Won the tournment! The matches against afinnity decks became much easyer (though still hard, the only loss was to one) the removal spells were far more efficient and the discards were enough to trigger at least one vine till mid game.
Any opinions would be great still! =)
PS.: about the spoilers, with Prized Amagalm being a adition consensus, the deck wouldnt be zombie heavy enough for Diregraf Colossus??
